I gave one star only because I couldn’t give just half. i was in jock and jills 3 times, the first, there was an issue with the draft beer, it smelled and tasted funny, when I pointed this out to our waitress she agreed and said they have had ongoing issues with there taps. The situation, I thought was handled properly and fairly. I switched to bottle beer and they didn’t charge me for the draft. The second time, I ordered bbq wings and received ghost pepper wings, hmm, the third time was the same exact issue with the draft beer, went I sent my draft back and ordered a bottle the waitress said she would ask keven the manager to remove it from the bill, I told her not to worry about it and i will pay for it because it wasn’t a big deal. What angered. Me was when she returned she said she spoke to keven the manager and he said that he will not take it off the bill, which he absolutely should have it smelled funny and tasted terrible. On top of that he wouldn’t come speak to me about it. So over a 1 dollar draft beer jock and jills lost 4 regular customers forever,

Awful waitress, not busy and it took way too long for service. Failed to mention when taco night actually started after not even knowing it was taco night. Charge 14 $ for one mixed drink and demanded I was wrong

Pub food but really good for its category. I would definitely go back when I’m in the area. The only thing that makes it miss a 5th star,(service was awesome as well as the food) is the ambiance. Tables peeled and bathroom a little«barish» but that’s it. I’ll be back had a great lunch today. Cheers from NY.

Jock N Jill’s is just a dirty college bar. They used to have really good wings, and we would come here for Monday wing night, but now the wings are different and the rest of the food is not very good either. Service was slow too. The only reason I would come back is that the prices are so cheap for beer and food.

For only two stars, this place actually offers refreshingly cheap drinks and decent food, but the crowd is god-awful. When ESU is in session, the patrons of Jock N’ Jills are basically displacements from New York or north Jersey that belong on «The Jersey Shore». It’s honestly a disgrace – everything you’d expect from a college bar(no room to breathe, terrible DJ music, bro fights, body odor stench, etc.) but more, with the general douchebaggery taken to a whole new level based off the majority of ass clowns that patronize this establishment. Can’t argue a dollar Shock Top or two-dollar well drink specials, but I think if the entire crowd were round up and catapulted back to Jersey, the entire town of Stroudsburg would breathe a collective sigh of relief. And who knows, maybe if that actually happened, normal people would go there.

Things that are better than being around a bunch of obnoxious, drunk college kids: –Eating a handful of fresh deer turds –Getting a dick tattooed on your forehead –Getting a $ 300 speeding ticket –Genital warts –Getting lost in Detroit –Stalin’s gulags in Soviet Russia Enough said.

Food was pretty good, prices are average. Went here on a Tuesday afternoon and we were literally the only 2 people in the place with the exception of some one at the bar, so service was good as it should be seeing as the waitress had nothing else to do, although she managed to forget our utensils after saying she’d be right back with them, so we just ate without any. Décor is a little dive-ish, but still tasteful. There was an obscene amount of flies everywhere which is what turned me off. I’ll try another bar along main street here before returning.

$ 17 for 12 wings my son ate. Make sure you check prices before ordering. Also waitress forgot my salad which came with my meal. I said something when she finally came back. She asked if I wanted to bring it home instead since I was almost done.

As a 2 week old, new resident to Stroudsburg, PA, looking for a fun local bar to start off the night, I figured Jock and Jills would be a safe bet based on the reviews. WRONG. Immediately I realized this is definitely a college bar complete with children learning to drink and bouncers compensating for their inadequate masculinities looking for their next power trip. As I provided my ID to attempt to enjoy a drink, I was immediately told my ID was fake and management would need to review.(I’m from the west coast and have not had a chance to change my ID to PA from Arizona as I’m brand new to town.) They told me my identification was fake and even called the cops on me. It was very rewarding to call the manager and bouncers bluff when the cops proved my ID to be real. The manager and bouncers were aggressive and acted as if they were going to fight me and my boyfriend for telling them we are of legal age. The way the staff went about the entire situation was extremely unprofessional and The owner should be embarrassed by his choice in staff members. This place gave me a terrible first impression on Stroudsburg and I’ll forever provide terrible reviews. Don’t go here unless you’re looking for dicks and kids.

Wings and beer are delicious just about anywhere, but this place has exceptional service and very good hot sauce for the wings. Beer was cold and atmosphere was conducive to a sports bar. I will be going back!

This seems like a place my boyfriend and I would have LOVED in college. Just a total local joint, that I bet is packed full with college kids when school is in session. The place was really lively on the Sunday we went. A true sports bar. Everyone was in there watching different football games and celebrating football things… im not much of a football player. But I loved the atmosphere. The place is FAR from fancy. Do not go in there expecting that. Laid back is the theme here! We ordered 4 different wings and got a pitcher of shock top for only $ 6. It was a pretty big pitcher. It was a special for the night. We also got 40 cent wings which was the other special. The wings were AWESOME! Really, really liked them. The wings plus the beer just made it a great trip. Our waitress was super sweet and cute. Very nice, attentive, kind, and was able to answer any question we had. We will totally go back here if we are ever in the area.

Had a great time at jocks; the bartenders are great and so is the atmosphere. During the day is great but Thursday through Friday nights are even better. Everyone has a great time. I am a military veteran who is currently still serving and you do get in free which is outstanding and i thank you jock and jills for that. If you go there be sure to grab a hold of a «swift kick«drink its outstanding and will make your night. The music is current and they have an amazing DJ. Alright, if you’re looking for a fancy place to dine… this ain’t it. I’m laughing at the review where the person is frustrated they can’t get a proper martini at Jock N Jills, I dunno how they walked in and decided this was the place to order one. The tables are literally painted to look like football fields FFS! I dropped in here sometime over the summer for the first time and we’ve become nearly weekly guests. The wings are good, and decently priced. Especially when they’re on special, during NFL games they’re 40c a piece, so you can get 10 wings for $ 4. Count me in! I’m not one for spicy sauces, but they have a huge variety and my favorites include the PB&J(yes, literally peanut butter and jelly on wings! so good) and the ranch-a-que. Also, they make their own ranch in house and it’s delicious. The sauces are really good and I’ve enjoyed all the ones I have tried. They blow BWW out of the water on wings IMHO. Drinks are super cheap. I’m not a beer drinker but they have Johnny Appleseed cider for $ 3 a pint, which is dirt cheap when you’re used to NJ/NYC prices. My company usually gets the cheaper beers because you can get pretty trashed on $ 1-$ 2 beers! Still, absurdly cheap. $ 10 for a normal pitcher, but during games it’s $ 6 for bud light(and similar beers) which is not bad at all. Personally, I can’t stomach that much bud light, so I go nuts and get my johnny appleseed. Fries are alright, onion rings are decent but I like mine a little longer in the fryer. Haven’t gotten any other food there, but according to other reviews it’s probably not the best place unless you’re doing wings+beer. When it’s warm enough the outside is nice. Not the most comfortable chairs out there but it’s nice drinking cheap beer and watching the people on the street.

Fun place. Good food. Enjoy the outside seating. Mostly a college place with regular locals during the day. Great wings! The bartenders are super friendly most days, Rocky is awesome. They have really good specials but absoutely a college bar unless its mid day or school is not in session. Pool table. Dart Board.

NO… just NO! These bartenders are as dumb as rocks. Just about the least educated bartenders I’ve encountered– EVER. I have no idea how these morons got their jobs. but it certainly wasn’t because they went to bartending school. My stories: I ask a male bartender for«bluesberry»(A DeKuyper liqueur. It’s its’ own drink. It’s like blueberry schnapps, basically.) He looks at me like I am a green Martian with 5 heads. «BLUESBERRY … on the rocks.» The bartender NEVER heard of it. WOW… moron!!! He goes over to the other bar and after like 15 minutes(really, that long) he finally comes back with a ½ bottle of it ANDISDISGRUNTLEDATME… BECAUSE I DARED to ask for something more unique than draft beer and the poor baby had to work. Boo-Hoo. He did a straight pour… but the drink was clearly aged. so next drink I asked for Bluyeberry ½ & ½– a Blueberry STOLI(vodka) mixed with Bluesberry schnapps. For whatever reason this drink on the rocks cost me $ 14. Needless to say I was pissed. Why the hell should a martini on the rox, essentially, be that much… none. The bartender was being a jerk… all over a drink he never heard of. He also never heard of tequila rose either… but I wasn’t going to press him on this because it’s possible they may not have had that. Terrible bar. Another time. this: I get a female bartender and I ask for a basic appletini– red or green– I don’t care. I was green… HOWEVER… THEYWATEREDITDOWNWITHSPRITE!!! WTF??? ***NEVER**** EVER should a martini be watered down PERIOD, NOR does an appletini have Sprite in it. I ask her to make it again, because it tastes like garbage– SPECIFICALLYSAYING«NOSPRITEINTHEDRINK”— and she heard me. I watch her make the drink again… Sure enough, on auto-pilot mode, she adds Sprite to the drink, AGAIN– AFTER I SPECIFICALLYASKEDHERNOTTODOIT. I taste the drink, taste the sprite & say«No… You added Sprite… I saw you do it, too.» At this point I am pissed because the girl is either a moron or a jerk. She gives ME attitude like I’m the customer and I should just drink whatever crap THEY«graciously» give me, even if it’s NOTWHAT I WANT. So. ONELASTTIME… I tell her«make it again», exactly in those words, too, because I am pissed at this point and I tell her No real appletini has Sprite in it and I give this dumb girl a lecture on how to make drinks and martinis are meant to be strong… blah blah blah… I’m pissed at this point. She gives me a dirty look… makes the drink a 3rd time. And sure enough… GRABSTHEREDFOUNTAINSQUITER… ANDSQUIRTS«something» into the Appletini. I think. WTF? Now… I tasted the drink… and while she DIDNOT put Sprite in it the THIRDTIME I ASKEDHERTOMAKEMYFRICKINGDRINKTHERIGHTWAY… I concluded that she LITERALLY watered the drink down— WITHWATER. So. that was still a shit move of her to do and apparently this bartender was so moronic that she was literally«unable» to take out the«Sprite» mixer ingredient in her mind and instead of increasing the other vodka/DeKuyper green apple products, she substitutued water for sprite… like the robot she is??? The martini still tasted like watered down crap, BTW. It truly WAS watered down &NOTSTRONG. I was pissed. For a place to 100% IGNORE a customers request is below unacceptable. Like I’m almost convinced the owner ‘forced’ the girl at least to water down the martinis, because NOREALTEACHER would make a martini that way. There are no words to describe the moronic lack of education these jokes of bartenders have. I hate this place. I will NEVER go again– even with a group. Thinking about the scumbag staff at this place makes my head hurt. (I don’t often give bad reviews. This one is deserved.)

We have been here on Monday when we tried to find a restaurant on the Main Street. It was the wings night, which means 5 wings for $ 2. The quality was ok, also the beer was very cheap with $ 6 for a pitcher. It has been busy on this day due to the wings I guess. We also tried salad and salmon but I wasn’t impressed. At the end it felt like sitting in a very cheap Buffalo Wild Wings. The price made up for the low quality.

I might give my nonexistent first born for more of their sriracha honey lime wings, which have the right amount of heat, sweet and crunch. They were only 40-something cents each! The delicious homemade potato skins are two big potatoes cut in half and loaded with bacon, cheese and broccoli(if you want the veg) for $ 7. The fried ravioli and fried mozzarella are pretty great, too. But we had to wait a long time for some of those items, which left one person with all her food and the other waiting for a while. I had to wait about an hour for those potato skins because the waitress said the cook«messed up» my first plate. To her credit, she apologized for the delay. Anytime we asked the waitress, who was young, basic questions such as, «Will that cost extra?» her responses went like this: «I don’t know. Maybe.» I asked for sour cream and said, «The menu says it comes with that.» She responded, «I’m not sure, I didn’t read it.» She wasn’t rude, just lacking knowledge or the desire to find out. I will say it was Super Bowl night, but this place wasn’t that packed compared to other bars on non-game nights. It was like the Twilight Zone of bars with thoroughly satisfying food and really bad service.

Love the outside seating during the warm months right in the heart of Stroudsburg. It is so much fun to people watch on Main! The food is okay regular nothing to brag about bar food. However the sangria is great. Thurs-Sat is one of the best dance parties in the Pocono’s. It’s very college kid crowded during the in school months though. But it’s always a great time! Awesome drink specials and awesome bartenders. The only thing I am not a big fan of is their wing night … their wing flavors were not that great or maybe I was just not good with the choice on my sauce flavor.
