Definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a hot bowl of noodle after a long day at the water park. Or ski in the winter. Not expensive at all for the quality. Good service too

Pros: — Very affordable. — Closest Vietnamese restaurant to us(we live 45 minutes away). — Spacious – lots of seating. Cons: — Servings smaller than your usual Vietnamese restaurants. — Rolls are not really rolls because they’re not wrapped in spring roll wrappers. They’re more like pre-frozen processed foods that were deep fried(like Que-kiam/Kikiam). — Staff very inattentive and our server didn’t know the menu. Overall, food was okay. Not what you’d expect if you’re used to eating at a Phở. Staff could be more friendly and attentive.

The food was delicious and Phở Saigon would have gotten a 5 star rating from me if it wasn’t for the iced Vietnamese coffee. It should have been called Vietnamese ice with coffee flavoring. It was all ice, but the little coffee for $ 3.75 was delicious. When this was mentioned to the waitress, the only response was a shrug. We started with a pork and shrimp spring roll and a fried pork skins spring roll, both were top notch. Then dinners of Phở with rare steak and well done steak and a grilled beef rice vermicelli. Both were delicious and authentic. Both were large portions and the bill came to $ 33 which included the cup of ice. We will definitely be back, but I’ll drink water next time!

Was surprised to see an asian restaurant with high reviews around the Poconos. So we decided to check it out. Came here to pick up take out and it was delicious! Better than some of the vietnamese places in nyc! The grilled pork over vermicelli was really good and they didn’t burn the meat. The pork was marinaded really well and not salty at all. The beef noodle soup was good too. The soup base was delicious. Prices are reasonable and portions are ok. The restaurant looks new and plenty of tables. Will definitely add this to the list of restaurants to go to at the Poconos!

The place is decent, clean and spacious though it was a little dark. Service-the waiters were all nice and food came fast. Food-it was ok. Taste like other vietnamese restaurants we have in NY/NJ. They even have some garnishes and nicely presented. But one thing i’ve noticed, the serving portion is so small, compared to what we have in NJ.

I decided to try this restaurant based on the Unilocal reviews and we were very impressed. From the moment we were seated to the time we left, we felt welcomed and well taken care of. The food was authentic, the Vietnamese coffee was perfect, the place is spotless, and nice size portions. Last, but not least, the prices were more than fair. Thank you

If you want to get punched in the face with flavor then eat here! The Phở is awesome. The broth is so flavorful and it was filling too. The Bún was also delicious. There was a young bus boy that explained the entire menu to us and when our food came, he also suggested how to eat it. The only negative comment I have is that the wait staff could be more attentive. When we needed refills, napkins, or the check, it took a while to get the waitresses attention.

Stopped by with family on the way back from Kalahari Resorts. We were thinking how good could Vietnamese food be in the middle of PA?! Well, boy were we pleasantly & surprisingly shocked! My wife ordered a bowl of Phở and the broth was perfectly seasoned. I had a salad bowl with grilled beef and spring roll and it was delicious! Better than any Vietnamese food in NYC! … So good I had to send my compliments to the chef and owner Justin, who looked like he just graduated college, but said he was working in Las Vegas for over 5 years and decided to open up shop on the east coast! I told him he had to bring his stuff to Queens and dominate the(non) action here! Keep up the good work, Justin! Hope to see you soon!

Very nicely done. Authetic Vietnamese food. Even in New York its very hard to find a good authetic restaurant but to find it here is just amazing. We had grilled pork spring roll. Just add some siracha and bam! We had phở and grilled pork spring roll vermicelli bowl. It was very delicious. Heres some pictures.

We come from an area with very large southeast Asian population. This little place in PA had the best peanut sauce we have ever had. If I could I would have licked the bowl, my son and I were already spooning it out right into our mouths. We highly recommend, there menu was not diverse but had the main items, Phở, noodle bowls, rice plates, fresh rolls. We had all but the rice plates, no complaints by anyone. Also had coconut juice, refreshing and delicious. Would return in ever in area again.

Saw all these amazing Unilocal reviews so naturally I had to make a stop here on the way back from a shopping trip at the Tannersville outlets. At the end of a small strip mall sits Phở Saigon. Casual, modern setting with quick served Vietnamese food. Ordered a large portion of phở and it was LARGE indeed — not disappointed! Ordered the #17 phở(w/rare steak and fatty brisket). Steak was not rare(a bit on the tough side) but at least the brisket was yummy! Ingredients tasted fresh, especially the side of bean sprouts, basil, and jalapeños. Large portion of noodles, solid broth, and good portion of meat. Solid 4 stars! Unless you’re absolutely starving, I recommend ordering a small bowl of phở… and opt for their #7 appetizer, the Chao Tom! Under the recommendation of the server, we ordered it and it was amazing! Should have ordered two portions but the little plate was fantastic! It was some sort of grounded shrimp app with this delicious sauce… 5 stars! Coffee fan? Try their Vietnamese coffee. I prefer it iced. Love the slight bitterness with the creamy sweetness! The only disappointment was their flan dessert. Portion was very small(didn’t realize it was only$ 2.50, which makes sense) and texture was nothing like a real flan. They serve it with Vietnamese coffee(black or w/condensed milk) which was unique. But again, the flan texture was not what I expected it to be. Service seemed a bit all over the place. Two different servers greeted us and a total of 5 different servers checked on us throughout the meal. However, servers were all friendly and attentive — except our original server forgot our iced coffee and we had to flag someone else down for it. Casual and fast dining. Prices are very reasonable. Food tastes authentic and fresh. Portions are solid. A great addition to the area! Will definitely be coming back when I’m in town!

This is by far one of the best Vietnamese food I have ever eaten in a long time. At first I didn’t have high hope since it’s so far away from any Asian community. Boy was I wrong! It’s authentic. I ordered the Bun grill pork and it was cooked to perfection, just the way I like it. The grill chicken my daughter had was juicy with the right amount of marination and fire. The price is relatively cheap. I would definitely go back there the next time I am in the Pocono area.

Came here for lunch on our way to Great Wolf Lodge. Not too many Vietnamese restaurants in this area and saw that they had some good reviews. It was just recently opened because the place itself looked updated and modern. They have some nice décor for a Vietnamese restaurant and a good amount of tables to service the guests. We were seated quickly and our server was friendly. We ordered some apps to start including the spring rolls and grilled pork summer rolls. It tasted fine, but the spring roll wrap should have been wrapped in rice paper instead of the yellow ones. They gave us iceberg lettuce for the wrap instead of the red or green leaf lettuce. I have been eating at many Vietnamese restaurants and I know there are many variations. However, its not authentic if its not made a certain way. Also, the grilled pork summer rolls should have been served with hoisen sauce instead of fish sauce. Nonetheless, it was okay and edible. I ordered the grilled pork with vermicelli noddles which was good but nothing spectacular. It was better than some places I have eaten. My wife had the broken rice with grilled pork which looked good too, while the kids had the beef phở. Overall, its a good location and an alternative to the other eateries in the area. Glad to see a Vietnamese restaurant in this area because of its many attractions in the Poconos. They do have many great reviews and the food is good. I do wish they expand the menu a bit to include more Vietnamese dishes.

It’s really between 4 or 5 stars but feeling generous here so rating it 5 stars. For starters, my family and I ordered spring rolls and grilled pork summer rolls. The spring rolls were good. I was a lil surprised that they served summer rolls with fish sauce. Normally, at all Vietnamese restaurants and at my mother’s house, we serve it with hoisen sauce(thicken brown sauce). Nevertheless, it was still tasty. For lunch, I had the broken rice with grilled pork and shredded pork meat and egg meat patty. It was yummy but I’ve tasted better at Bistro B in Dallas, TX and Saigon Noodle and Grill in Orlando, FL. The portion size was average. My husband ordered the grilled pork with vermicelli noodles, which he said is very tasty. Our kids had phở noodle soup and they ate it happily. We were a disappointed that they don’t have che ba mau(rainbow ice dessert). As a matter of fact, they have only 1 dessert and that’s ice cream with sweet bread. From the picture, it looks like the Hawaiian sweet bread you’d get from your local Shoprite so we didn’t order dessert. The service was good. They just forgot to give me utensils for my rice dish but once I asked the waiter, he came back with the utensils in a flash. The atmosphere is nice, open spaced and clean. I noticed the bright white decorative walls and the booths that can sit anywhere from 6 to 8 guests. It’s located in a strip of restaurants and fast food and the parking lot is shared.

Clean, fast and good. This place ranks very high against all the Vietnamese restaurants I’ve been to from Florida to Montréal. Great aspect of this restaurant is they are extremely fast to serve you — they really bring out the food! Great anything with grilled pork!

The most delicious Vietnamese food I have ever had. The place is well spaced out the prices are really cheap for the quantity and quality of food they serve and the servers Are ever smiling and generous with the servings of hot tea and other condiments. We had the spring rolls(3), special phở(8) and the grilled shrimp rapped with sugarcane and egg roles(34)…(No.) — item on the menu… Keep it up guys… You guys rock with the food you serve…

Great food and very clean establishment. My phở was extremely delicious! The appetizers were very good. The spring rolls were yummy, but the wrapping was a bit chewy — not sure what other establishments that I have been to do to make them more delicate. My only complaint would be that all of our apps and food came out overwhelmingly super quick and flooded our table. We felt a bit stressed to eat quickly with everything coming out so quickly. Staff was very attentive and helpful.

Pholicious… It is a treat to find good Vietnamese food while on vacation up in the mountains. I had phở from many places and this is comparable to some legit phở places. I have to say they do offer a lot of meat for a large and it is worth the 10 bucks. I hope this place does well at the Poconos cuz I’ll be back on my next trip up. A must try salted lemonade.

My new favorite spot! The Phở is of high quality fresh ingredients. Lots of choices for the conservative and the adventurous eater. Very generous portions of sprouts and other veg. The only thing better than the food is the prices. Tons of great food for great price. Beef cubes are also outstanding!

Great staff and service and top of all the food was out fast and great. I would suggest going to this place anytime you are wanting to have a great healthy hot food dish. The food I would recommend to get a phở soup bowl the sizes are plentiful and are nicely priced too. The bathrooms are very nice and clean. They have a very healthy menu, and even have vegan items such as the vegetable spring roll. Over all I give this restaurant a five star rating on everything. They also have free jasmine tea which is very yummy. Jimmy is owner son a great waiter and explains menu very well. This is a great restaurant.

Love the phở and spring rolls. The Pocono area needs this type of fresh restaurant. Tried the cha gio(A-1 and phở tai nam gau(P-2) on our second visit for takeout. Generous portions and with takeout you can add our leave out the chilis and make it your own. Will happily return!

Absolutely the best phở I’ve ever had! Such an awesome environment! Went for lunch and was seated right away with Jasmine Tea and an very friendly and happy waiter :) my boyfriend has been all over the country with his military career and has tried many different phở joints and this one is his favorite hands down! We both got the salted lemon drink(Vietnamese lemonade) don’t be fooled by the salted, one of the most refreshing and pure drinks I’ve had! For appetizers, we got shrimp summer roll and spring rolls. Summer rolls were your average summer rolls but very big and full of greens which I loved. And the spring rolls were also delicious with their in house made fish sauce! Now to the good stuff, the phở!!! I got a small bowls but it was still huge! Very accommodating staff and cook which I always look for in a restaurant. I love my phở filled with nutritious veggies and often I get vegetarian phở and add shrimp. But here, they allowed me to add veggies to the steak phở and added grilled shrimp(which was amazing! Whatever sauce they use holy hell!!) bowl was filled to the brim with noodles veggies shrimp and steak and a perfect balance of all and the essentials on the side. Everything was so undeniably fresh that I swear it was healing my bf’s cold in the spot! Best broth and so much flavor! I never comment on places but the staff was great and even asked us to sample their deserts due to their grand opening and being so new. We were so full but he had me at Vietnamese coffee flan and ice cream sandwiches. Can’t say enough about this place and how awesome the atmosphere and food was. Both myself and boyfriend agree with will be at least a once a week ritual… maybe two! Already planning to head back on Saturday!

Disclaimer: I am not Vietnamese, but I am pretty obsessed with phở(I will try phở at suspicious places that have no business putting phở on their menu because I almost always would rather be eating phở). That said, I do have 3 criteria for phở elation: 1) combinations for offal weird parts — must include RARE steak and tendon with option to exclude tripe and 2) tons of sprouts and basil and 3) spicy jalapenos and srirachacha! We were unsure what to expect of a phở place near a ski resort, with reviews from relatively inactive Unilocalers, but it was too close to resist. First, the food: we ordered fried spring rolls and our phos. A little disappointed there’s no bahn mis but understandable since there may be questionable demand. Plenty of phở combos to choose from and two sizes. The small is actually what many other places call the large so ask to see the bowl size. What we didn’t expect was that the bowl would be full of meat, possibly the most meat I have ever gotten in a small phở. I never finish the noodles because I’m more interested in the meat sprouts and basil, and thankfully they didn’t waste volume on noodles. The broth may be one of the best broths I have ever had, perfectly balanced and not too sweet. I’m used to getting the spring rolls after the phở since it takes longer, but they made us wait for it since Vietnamese food virgins might not be ok with getting an appetizer after their main. Tough to wait if your used to standard phở fast food. There were only 2 rolls but they were really tasty and got the job done. Would probably need two orders next time ;) The venue: There’s a big tv which is nice if you want to watch something while you eat. The space is really big and open and super clean. It is the nicest phở restaurant I have ever been to. The bathroom is definitely nice enough to be in one of the fine dining restaurants in New York city. The service: We got lucky with the owners son. Super attentive, super friendly. We wanted the Vietnamese coffee but were afraid of it being too sweet. They were willing to make it with less condensed milk for us and it was yumz! Wish this place was in the Bronx because it is waaaaaaaaay better than the only phở restaurant option we have currently!

Been waiting for ages for phở to be available in the poconos, worth the wait! The phở is amazing. The spring rolls appetizers are mouth watering. The server seems so excited to help you out. It’s a small space but feels big due to how they set it up. Can’t say enough good things about this place. Drink menu is a wide varieties not everything is available just yet but can not wait to try. They haven’t cemented a dessert menu yet but they are trying out things and want customer feed back. Fingers crossed the coffee flan makes the cut, it sounds odd but my husband hates flan and Wanted seconds! Try it out

A native of the DC area(where phở is a staple) traveling in the Poconos to visit friends, I was surprised to see a phở restaurant in the area, so I decided to stop and try it out. I can say without a doubt that this phở is as good, if not better, than any phở I’ve had before! The place is beautiful, clean, and the staff is attentive and friendly. The Poconos are lucky to have this restaurant and I hope it continues to succeed.

The restaurant just opened and it offers a variety of different vietnamese dishes. The atmosphere is bright and refreshing and the restaurant itself is spacious and very modern. There is lots of room for you to bring your family and friends! It was my first time here, so I had to try their speciality which is their phở. I ordered a large special which had all of the meats. The broth is flavorful and the noodles were cooked well. They did not hold back on giving you meat either! The large bowl was more than enough for me. Next time I go I am definitely trying the other dishes. For any picky eaters or anyone who is scared to try new things: Phở is a really tasty and easy dish to consume. Eating it on a cold day is the best because the broth will warm you right up!
