I’m always blown away at the positivity and friendliness of this place. It does not matter the level of ability you hold; if you are a novice or expert just check in and practice!

I come here with my girlfriend pretty much every week and we always have a great learning experience. The staff is superb, helpful and pleasure to deal with; whether you need help bettering your technique(Thank you Harry) or have questions of technical nature. Rental inventory is quite extensive and if you are not familiar with given model/features, no worries, staff got you covered. Overall, I’m very happy and looking forward to my next visit.

Great place to shoot. They will keep an eye on you until they know that you know what your doing and then they fade into the background until you need them. These guys know there stuff and are willing to help. None of that attitude you get in some gun shops everyone here is a gentleman.

Overall it was a really good experience. We went on a Sunday and it wasn’t too crowded. I’m unsure of some of the negative reviews below. The staff was very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. The prices surprised me a bit. It was a tad higher than expected for about an hour of shooting. However, I highly recommend this place and will be back for sure.

Four of us adult friends decided to try out the range. Two of us have never fired a pistol the other two had some experience. I had seen some reviews about the difficultly of getting time. We showed up at opening on Sunday am and after taking the safety course got two lanes. The range master was excellent. He was patience and explained everything from a safety standpoint as well as stance, shooting tips and the like. For those that complained about to much interference, I did notice that those that obviously knew what they were doing were, while observed, left to their own devices. It was a terrific experience and we will definitely be back again! Thank you for the education and safety! If you are looking for something to do this is an excellent option novice or a police officer as they have their own section on the facility.

Went there today for the first time, and had a great experience. I brought my own gun, ammo, eye and ear equipment, so I can’t speak to any of those rental items. You do have to go through a «safety course» consisting of a video and demonstration, but the fee is waived for law enforcement. The customer service was excellent. They were more than happy to give me tips with grip and shooting technique, and I definitely left a better shooter than when I walked in. All staff I came into contact with were friendly and knowledgeable. Rental fees for the lane were reasonable. My experience here was far better than other ranges I’ve been to. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this range.

This range is by far my favorite in the area for a few reasons. They are friendly to me and all of my guests i bring in to shoot there. I am a member here because they are so kool here and will continue to come here for years. Tell Harry the manager that Rob the pastrami guy sent you, guaranteed you’ll be taken care of very well.

I am blown away by some of these negative reviews Please don’t listen too people who have no real world expierence .They are people who watch a TV show then get the idea too go shoot a gun that they see on TV and get pissed that they have too fill out paperwork and watch a safety video. What do you think you give the $ 30.00 bucks and just go do whatever you want? Yes you are being watched ! You have a weapon in your hand that can take a life ! Please visit Pocono pistol club I promise you .You will be very impressed with the professionalism and the beautiful facility

They are some of the Down to earth people I have ran into. We are novice from our of state and they had great amount of patience and didn’t mind the DUMB questions we had. They made this sport A better experience. Definitely will be back

The entire staff here at Pocono Pistol is the most professional group of people you will ever meet at any shooting range or local gun shop. To anyone who has complained about the staff, I can only assume that you came in with a «I know what I am doing» attitude. Talk with anyone that works there and you will leave with something that you didn’t know before you walked in. Great place to practice during the long cold winters when I can not just go behind the house and shoot.

In agreement with Joe R., I have to say that Pocono Pistol Club was a serious let-down. I have read good things from other posters, but they have been proven inaccurate. Prices are extremely steep compared to my membership at Blue Ridge Rod & Gun. $ 249 membership, and you only get 1 hour of range time? How is that fair? To say that the range is small is an understatement. To say that the staff are kind, caring, and accommodating is an overstatement. At Blue Ridge, there are 3 ranges, kind members, and an environment where shooters are treated like adults, not juvenile delinquents. The club didn’t even have ammo readily available for the guns that it rents! And«due to insurance policy,» you can’t bring in your own ammo, even if it isn’t reloaded, to use in their rentals. Seems pretty useless to me at best, or a marketing ploy at worst. The attendants are nearly 100% of the time breathing down your neck and aren’t the least bit polite. I wouldn’t mind paying $ 10 for a training class if I felt like I actually learned something. Not to mention that it’s hard to get a reservation here. I am unhappy with this shooting range and wouldn’t even use my free time from Dunkelbergers to shoot here. I’ll stick with my club in Snydersville, thanks.

Doesn’t support high caliber rifles but a great place to practice handguns and your regular rifle. First timers just have to sit through a quick overview of the rules but that’s about it. Just make sure to bring some extra bullets because man do they go quickly

Such friendly and welcoming staff. Even to those annoying people who are nervous and won’t stop talking! Also really cheap, 30 $ for two people sharing a lane, not bad.

Great place, excellent people. It was my first time shooting a real gun, so it was exciting. I paintball many times before so I wasnt a noob at shooting. i think a bit pricey(because of the intro session) but once in a while its OK. The guy recommend the .22 caliber rounds because we were beginners. we got a pistol and a semi auto rifle. I went with 3 other people and they let us rotate around between the two gun which was cool. We went through 4 boxes of bullets at 40 or 50 rounds a piece. each box was $ 3 so it was fairly cheap to use the .22 rounds. Recoils on both gun was controllable since it was a small rounds. Pistol was nice. the rifle that we picked was nose heavy and need to be calibrated. The staff was SUPER nice, great job explaining the details of the guns and safety, and helping us when stuff was not working such as jams and target distance stuck. i would definitely go back and try out the larger calibers.
