Tried this restaurant 2 times while in the Stroudsburg area. Very cool place to hangout and grab a drink. The food is average, typical bar type food.

Haven’t been here in over a year but was saddened to see the place looking so run down when I came in for lunch today. Most of the seat covers on the high top tables were all ripped up, light s above tables were dusty and bathroom smelled awful. Food was decent but who offers carribean fish tacos in an Irish pub? Only 1 type of cider beer and none on tap. With all the competition around, you would think owners would make an effort to fix up the place. Only positive thing was the server. She was pleasant, fast and efficient. Extremely disappointed. Sad to see the decline.

The food here is great! We are never disappointed. If you like spicy wings, they have the best suicide sauce. Have also had shepherds pie and Guinness beef stew. Everything is very good.

Stopped in after a Feis. Cute place! We had bacon wrapped shrimp. 4 shrimp. Jumbo size and perfectly cooked and flavorful. Then cedar salad. Just the right balance of cheese and dressing. The salad was not drowned in dressing but you could taste it. Good size. Their take on french onion soup was great. Really enjoyed the unique flavor! Fish and chips was good too. Not a heavy batter. Fries we great! Service was prompt and attentive. Bring quarters. metered parking

Sunday afternoon it was loud with all the sports fans. But family friendly. We started with onion rings. They were perfectly prepared with cripsy batter. Very tasty one of the best we’ve had in a long time and it was a very generous amount. With that beginning we were expecting more. Our entrees: Shepherd’s Pie and Chicken Curry were less than spectacular. Shepherd’s pie was very heavy on the meat, which was so finely ground as to be mushy and it had a flavor reminiscent of Spam. Ok if you like it, but not when you’re expecting something else. Barely any vegetables which it could have used to break up the mushy meat. The potatoes were beautifully piped on top but the flavor was overpowered by the meat. The Chicken Curry was ok, although too salty. Based on the onion rings I expect the fish & chips would be good. We’ll probably give them one more try, just not any time soon.

I took my family of five here while we were vacationing nearby. My kids are 5, 8, and 10 and it was kid friendly and they had typical kid fair. The curry chicken was amazing and the pot pie was one of the best my daughter has had. Definitely coming back next time we are in the area.

They were nice to bring my dog a water bowl. Mussels were overcooked. Curry chicken was horrible. Chicken was too dry. Did not taste like Irish curry chicken at all! They have a good selection if drafts but don’t come here for food.

Good food, cute place, but the service was terrible. The place was practically empty — only one other table other than ours(2 adults, 3 kids). The waiter did not acknowledge us until we were there for some time. Drinks took a while — sodas & chocolate milks. Our orders were simple — burgers for the adults, chicken fingers & a grilled cheese for the kiddos. It took over half an hour to get our food. We should have walked out. Won’t be going back.

This is actually a really great place. Seating inside and outside. Though inside is a little dark. Has great character and good service. Most of all the food is great!

The cheese plate is a collection of Kraft singles and crumbled cheeses alongside generic Ritz crackers. The wait staff is miserable and there is no drink list. How does a bar not have a drink list?!

Stopped here for dinner while vacationing in this area. We were a party of 7 and there was no issue seating us on a Saturday night. This pub is so cool looking. The décor is beautiful. Food was incredible. We all had the Onion soup, it was the best onion soup I have ever had. It had a touch of curry and honey, which made it have a slight kick of spice but a delightful sweetness from the honey. The main entrees were delicious and huge portions. Prices were resonable. Great beer selection as well. Waitress was pleasant. We enjoyed our visit to this pub and we plan on returning when we are back in the area again!

I went to Siamsa for lunch with a wedding party. I had the turkey club wrap, my boyfriend had the southwest chicken wrap, my friend had fish tacos, and her fiancé had bangers and mash. We all loved our lunch as well as our alcoholic drinks. We were a party of 12, so it was hard to say how everyone else liked their food, however no one seemed to have any complaints. I saw some people had the corned beef sandwich, steak sandwich, and paninis. All looked excellent and judging from their empty plates, tasted just as good. Our waitress(forgot her name, unfortunately) was very good. She was attentive, quick, and friendly throughout the whole lunch. We informed her at the very beginning that each couple needed separate checks(which I know can be a pain), but she had no problem fulfilling our request. In the end, we all got our separate checks without error. We all had a great time and were finished in 1.5 hours– excellent service all around. If I am in the area again I will be sure to revisit Siamsa.

***the stars are for the restaurant only, the bar is terrible, worst service I’ve had. Even at a college bar I expect at least half-decent bartenders that don’t only serve their friends while the place is packed. I felt like I was at a frat party. The place is overpriced, drinks are subpar, and the service was actually worse than a frat party, at least they appreciate my money. 5 stars for the food, décor, service, and –1 for the bathrooms(more on that in a little). I’ve been to siamsas plenty of times, at least a dozen just to eat. The menu is short but everything on it is appealing. The cheese dish was phenomenal, goat cheese is my personal favorite. The artichoke dip was as expected, but my favorite is by far the French onion soup, it is the best I’ve had in the states. The old bank fault is a nice touch, and the servers are attentive, but the bathroom, my god the bathroom! There was human feces in the urinal, and puke all over the stall. judging from the smell and the flies buzzing around, it must have been left over from the weekend. It was disgusting, and clearly no one there gets paid enough to clean that mess up, but a warning sign would have prevented me from nearly adding to the puddle of vomit on the floor.

Love the bank-turned-Irish-pub atmosphere — there’s even a table in an old bank vault. It lacks that warm, cozy pub feel though, a bit too open and empty. Food is average.

My husband and I have been eating here since they opened. I love the atmosphere downstairs with the big bank vault. The food has always been good. We’ve had bangers and mash, shepherds pie, Irish breakfast, corned beef and cabbage, fish and chips and more. We really like the onion soup with its hint of curry. We had a large group of family visiting for skiing last year and we brought them here after trying to go to a chain with a 2 hour wait and we called Siamsa and they got us right in. Everyone loved their food and I was glad to share a local business with them. I’ve always been pleased and will be back for sure.

We had a prenuptial dinner last Friday night. The party room was great for our group. The food & service were both great. Thanks Kenny & Lisa, & the staff for the wonderful evening.

Shepherds pie was great, goulash was sub par. Service was slow but the atmosphere was really nice. We went while vacationing and likely will not return the next time we’re up.

My boyfriend said its the best thing in East Stroudsburg. We were there for 4 days and spent 2 nights enjoying happy hour deal after 10pm on $ 1 mixed drinks(vodka + cranberry /rum, tequila), $ 2 soco lime — my fav. Never tried southern comfort with lime and simply loved it. We weren’t there for food, so i can not comment on that. It had a good crowd and nice music.

$ 3 cover, $ 2 bud light, $ 9 long island, pop music. I played the arcade game In the back for a half hour though and had the 2 of the $ 1 jello shots. I dig it.
