Nice way to spend 1 – 1.5 hours with the kids. Not a large place but lots of interesting fish, turtles, and sting rays. Definitely recommend you attend the programs — the staff is funny, and enthusiastic about teaching the kids, you learn a lot about the animals and the local eco-system. We did walk the nature trail(the shorter one — 1 mile?) and enjoyed seeing the mangroves and the spiders.

So awesome! Lots of exhibits and knowledgeable staff. The ray feeding was amazing. You get to pet and feed the rays at two times during the day. Look up the times before you go. Sea turtles and a giant aquarium with game fish and sharks were other highlights.

Very nice attraction. Kids really enjoyed seeing the stingrays, turtles and sharks. We had the opportunity to feed and touch the stingrays. We took a nature walk — tip wear bug spray! The exhibit hall had smaller sea animals to see as well. A great family day trip!

Waste of money. We were on vacation in the area so my wife and I took our 23 month old here. We get to the little play area for children right outside the main building. The lady that works there tells us children his age are to rough and can’t play with anything there. That would have been great information to know before you took our $ 24 admission price. As a side review, excluding the experience this place was boring. 4 fish tanks inside, a big pond outside and a hiking trail. I could’ve seen any of this anywhere else for half the price.

Pros: The daily programs happen twice a day and I HIGHLY recommend you see them. The programs are 30 minutes apart consecutively so you can see everything they have to offer! The attractions are mainly outside so make sure you go on a nice day! I would recommend this for a short day trip, there are many other attractions, restaurants and beaches in the area to visit also! Price: $ 12/adult was very reasonable for admission. Intensity: The center and grounds have flat, even walking paths and ramps easily accessible for wheel chairs or strollers. The attractions require minimal walking and guests are standing during the shows. There is a boardwalk through mangroves for a nature walk which can be as short as .5 miles to over 1.0 miles but is optional. Cons: Make sure you go on a nice day since activities are outside.
