A rare find indeed. Everything raw and organic with no added sugars. Perfect if you’re fighting cancer the natural way.

This place is like none other in town. Always fresh! Always healthy! I have only great things to say about it. Everything I’ve had here I’ve loved. You don’t have to be vegan or vegetarian to enjoy their food. You’d be surprised at just how good healthy can taste! Some of my favorites are the summer rolls, mushroom ceviche, beet salad, garden sandwich, Asian soba noodle bowl, fiesta salad bowl, chilly chili, all day tempeh sandwich, and the roasted cauliflower flatbread! When in doubt go with the flatbread. Their almond butter bagel is absolutely delicious as is the avocado bagel. I love their guanabana and acai smoothie bowls. The juices and milks are great too. I love, love, love this place! So delicious! I eat here a few times a week. Clean place, open kitchen, great service. Everyone here is friendly and helpful.

It is such a pleasure to find a raw vegan restaurant on the Treasure Coast. I get my green juice here regularly now after my first visit(they have cold pressed juices which last for several days) and have enjoyed all of the smoothies I tried so far. The avocado toast is amazing, and the root vegetable side I get with everything! Staff is friendly, fun, and accommodating, and the service is wonderful even when it gets crowded. I have had trouble getting a parking space during several lunch time visits, but it is worth the wait.

Fruits and Roots is always on point. I have their fresh pressed juices often — it’s so nice to have something truly healthy(without a bunch of sugar added to it) available in Stuart. Their egg-less salad on collared greens is not to be missed!

Great selection of juices and smoothies. Clean environment with ample parking. We both had the Rawsome greens salad and the Spring Rolls w peanut Thai dipping sauce. It really hit the spot. Kiki was an efficient and friendly server.

This place is the perfect place for a quick lunch or snack! The food is fresh, organic and delicious. I always go out of my way to stop by here if I’m even remotely in the area. The All Day Tempeh sandwich is my go-to, it’s full of flavor and never disappoints me. If they have their Beet Burger on special make sure you get it, it’s one of the best vegan foods I’ve ever had, better than traditional meaty burgers!

Very impressed! I had heard some negative things around town so I was hesitant. However, during my last detox day I NEEDED a fresh juice and decided to stop in. When I saw the beautifully unique interior and pleasant outdoor dining I decided to have a seat and stay a while. MINDBLOWN100% AMAZINGNESS. The food is fantastic(hummus bagel is perfection), pricing is reasonable, and excellent service. Great job on the large glass water bottle to the table. I do wish there was music outside, and that they were open Sunday… but over all this is really a great spot. I look forward to going back many times.

We stopped here for lunch on the way to Miami from Orlando. It was relatively close to 95 and easy to get to. Sat outside — there’s a few small tables out front. Inside was gorgeous. We both got juice shots in little mason jars — both delicious and potent. Everything we had was stellar — summer rolls, soba noodle bowl and eggless salad wrap. The food was fresh and healthy but incredibly delicious. I look forward to having a reason to come back.

One of my favorite places to visit every time I’m in the Stuart area. I love being able to have everything on the menu cater to my efforts to live a peaceful, plant-based lifestyle. The people are kind and very helpful in recommending new options for me. The food takes a while to prepare but that’s just a reminder to me that everything is made fresh. The wait is always well worth it though. My absolute favorites are the garden sandwich served with these amazing blue tortilla chips and their strawberry mylk. Vegan or not, this is an absolute must visit if you’re ever in town.

The Rawsome Greens salad is delicious — like Holy Crap I wasn’t expecting it to be *that* delicious. It’s 30 minutes from home but worth a special trip.

As a recent vegan I was so thrilled to have this as an option so close to my work! I love their selection of foods, and what I’ve tried has been delicious. I only wish they were open for dinner or on Sunday. As a 9−5er I never get to eat in the restaurant, I always have to order my food to go so I can bring it back to work since they close at 4:00. :(otherwise, I’m so excited to have this restaurant in town!

All Day Tempeh with collard wrap is moist, crunchy and flavorful. A winner! Server pleasant. Food came quickly. Negative is $ 3 charge for salad instead of chips. A pet peeve of mine. I’m vegan for health reasons mostly. Chips are not a health food. Please offer a small salad or greens for no extra charge. That said the side salad is exceptionally good. Noise level is high. If I lived in the area I would be a regular and eat outside where comfy chairs and ample, solid table in shade are provided.

Thank the Vegan powers that be, for they have arrived in Stuart. The renaissance has officially begun! I had almost given up on this ever happening. Yes, it was sad and desolate here for the longest time since Mark the genius chef left Noodle world. You can see from my reviews that indeed there is one tiny little oasis in Kazu, a delectable Japanese place and of course the Veggie Love Truck. I remain faithful to them but, come on! I could never understand why I had to go to Cusco, Peru for crying out loud to glorify and enjoy fresh and innovative Vegan. Seriously, that is a big commute! Yes, I understand this is a fishing capital and that most people’s idea of relax involves a beer, sports on flat screen and some sort of seafood, but it is also a haven for organic farming. I wondered for years where all those vegetables were going. I sure wasn’t seeing them in the local markets. Then the thick crust of ignorance cracked. A few places actually began to use the«V» word as a side offering. I tried them and I don’t even know how to spell the sound of my reaction. Blech comes to mind… and then… it happened. This little tiny haven sprouted. I eagerly ran there the first week they opened and tried it. In an effort to give them a chance before slamming them to the mat, I decided to wait before writing a review. I wanted to give them an opportunity to find their footing and hold back before returning. Last week it was that in between time of late lunch when so many places close up and I was on my way back to Stuart from Jupiter. I was originally going to endure the inconsistency of a place down that way when my hands guided the car north on 95. I realized it was time to try Fruits and Roots again. I am so happy I did! They have opened a second dining area and added table service. The wait-staff is kind and personable and the food, has improved exponentially. I left in a state of feeling impressed and wanting to return immediately. I have done so several times this week. The salads are crisp and full of great flavors including micro-greens, sprouted grains and beans. If you have a sweet tooth I urge you to try an Oat Bowl. One of my favorite appetizers is the Summer Rolls. They are packed with crisp veggies, chewy rice noodles and the sauce is not overly sweet. So why have I given only four stars? As my readers know I am a staunch Sattvic Vegan. This means no animal products of any sort – which Fruits and Roots have covered – but also nothing from the allium family of onion, garlic, scallions and their stinky relatives. My favorite Vegan restaurant at the moment is Green Point in the San Blas neighborhood of Cusco, Peru. I was down there for a couple weeks last month and found that they have awakened to this sort of – I know some of you are calling me obsessive – desire to omit. But I have to tell you that is time to realize the sensitivities and allergies caused by the use of certain items considered food. Many people are finding that the fare they have regularly been consuming is what causes their digestive and health annoyances. I also urge you to get some WiFi for us! It is easy enough to construct all sorts of dishes without mixing these offensive plants into everything. Dear Fruits and Roots, I suggest a few dressings without them. Not everyone wants to reek and this way it is easier to accommodate those with allergies and sensitivities. The reason I omit the Allium plant family is due to my years of study and pursuit of a PhD in Meditation. This plant is considered taboo in my course of study and research. The followers of Krishna – http://www.krishna.com/why-no-garlic-or-onions have their reasoning. In addition, these plants are the base of chemicals used in warfare:
You can look at information about the effects on the brain here Due to the raw state of these bulbs being even more toxic, I strongly recommend the Vegan restaurants do their research and have them available as a side offering rather than peppering everything with them. If you really need this flavor I suggest you try Hing: a.k.a. Asafoetida. ;s_kwcid=TC|8504|asafoetida||S|p|34312403402&gclid=Cj0KEQjw3auuBRDj1LnQyLjy-4sBEiQAKPU_vZ0odiOLwaDrTXe1GIxKJbaANJAz-2CvcKVsHl6qAUaAvmy8P8HAQ This is so much better for digestion and does not cause migraines nor ADHD symptoms as the Allium does. So my dear Fruits and Roots, when you wake up to this, I will gladly lift you to five stars! Please also consider more green herbs used in the dishes like thyme, oregano and basil. There is still some room for growth. To all my readers I encourage you to go and try this place. You will be very happy you did and I bet you find yourself there several times a week!

This is a great place especially for vegetarians! Great smoothies and bowls, they use wholesome, organic ingredients which I think just makes everything better! Their juices are awesome and they will let you sample. I love their bowls or smoothies for on on the go lunch. Picking up a bunch for an office, hope they are as smitten as I am :-)

Finally got to Fruits & Roots, and I’m excited a good, fresh, all organic, all vegan option is now in Stuart. The entrance is kind of akward, once you open the door there is the register and menu’s, along with the specials on the board. Theres the open kitchen, and music a bit on the loud side, coupled with the line, which would make dining right by the register a bit too much for me. It’s kind of overwhelming at first, especially when it is busy, as it was for lunch today. They do however have an attached quieter seating area. I decided to try a good variety of food since I knew I’d be reviewing it, and just wanted some tasty food. Hot wife was there, and we ordered between us: pesto breadsticks, Mushroom ceviche(which was a special), the garden sandwich and the«Tuna» chick wrap. The pesto bread sticks were well presented, uniquely in a stack pattern. The bread sticks were crunchy but not burnt, with the pesto on top and a dusting of dried vegan parmesan as well. They reminded me of little flat bread pizzas, albeit much, much smaller. The mushroom ceviche was amazing. It had a mix of wild mushrooms, some tomato, peppers, pineapple, orange? some seasoning. If they have this as a special, try it. It’s very good. Complex flavors with the right ratios. Comes with tortilla chips. The garden sandwich was tasty, had some cucumbers, avocado, pesto, tomato and micro greens. I thought this was spot on. Great mix of flavor profiles on as Hot wife puts it «on yummy bread». Also served with tortilla chips. The«Tuna» chick wrap was probably my least favorite of the meal. As a sandwich or wrap standing alone it’s great. However I didn’t get the«tuna» profiles at all. We’ve made some vegan tuna, and had some of the commercial options, but this to me didn’t really pull off the tuna flavor. Again, a very tasty wrap, I just didn’t get the tuna taste. Also served with tortilla chips. They have an extensive juice bar, and it looked like some vegan shakes as well. The shakes looked amazing, just not enough room for it this time. As it was we brought home a great deal of leftovers(yum!). In the area or not, if you’re vegetarian/vegan this is a must try. I hope they keep making the options fresh, and introduce some new items as well.

YESYESYESYESYES… Stuart is saved! Three stars just for opening up shop in the bastion of Vegas/Cruise Ship cuisine catering to the«on season» crowd. You can only see so many shrimp cocktail, sliders, fish tacos or mahi reubens(I do like a mahi reuben) on every menu or watch the chain restaurant tractor trailer trucks deliver the«freshest/choicest» ingredients up and down Federal before a subtle food despair sets over you. This place has been open a few months and they say that business has been great. While I was there it was a steady stream of customers in and out. What did they do right? Quality fresh tasty healthy food and drinks and the biggest friendly smiles I have seen in awhile from a restaurant. The café layout is designed nicely and well thought out. Grab a menu, order and pay up front. They are so enthusiastic about what you order, it’s great. We stopped here after a morning at the gym, groggy and exhausted. I ordered a Green Pear juice containing squeezed pear, spinach, parsley, cucumber and ginger. It was delicious. I generally eat well to offset the pizza and wine thing I got going and sometimes have to suffer through juice concoctions that are medicinal only. Not this stuff, drinkable and thirst quenching. For a bite I also got the Egg-less Salad. Silken tofu with cashews in turmeric and other goodness, wrapped in a collard green leaf with fresh tomatoes and lettuce(Pretty crunchy granola I know, but this is actually how I grew up and I miss this stuff.). The wrap was fantastic and that’s not the gym talking. T was kind enough to share her garden sandwich that was also really tasty. Tangy pesto and hummus, fresh veg and a seed and spice blend that rounded it all out. Upon leaving I felt terrific and energized with another pizza and wine emergency averted, for now. An enthusiastic 5 stars.

They have opened another dining space! The restaurant has nearly tripled in size. Met a friend for lunch yesterday & everything we had was excellent! They told me that they will soon have table service which will help reduce the congestion at the order counter. Good on ya mates !
