I had the glass on my iPad repaired. After six months I noticed the edges of the glass was foggy. I went back and the owner told me the repair was out of warranty. I was disappointed in his unwillingness to try and resolve the situation in fact he became borderline aggressive and insulting. I found The Gadget Guy to have poor customer service and unfortunately I question their workmanship. I think a repair should be able to last more than six months. As a small business owner I try to use small businesses whenever possible. But small businesses that don’t stand behind their work make it difficult to give them repeat business.

Buyer Beware: As much as I’d prefer to leave a glowing review, I honestly cannot. I’ll start with the positives… The store is clean and they offer free directv and a great selection of gun magazines while you wait. The owner is super friendly and I felt that he really wanted to provide good service. Unfortunately the compliments stop here. I broke the screen on my iPhone and decided to go here instead of making the longer drive to the Apple Store in West Palm Beach. Looking back, driving the further distance would have been the best way to go. I had 3 different screens put on a my iPhone. This meant 3 different round trip drives. This meant 3 different waits. The first screen started acting up the same day by magically placing my calls on mute or trying to facetime my voice calls. not good. Back to the store for a replacement. Unfortunately they did not have another white iPhone screen in stock. Screen #2 was a black screen on a white phone. This was a good temporary solution. They were to call when they got the white screen in stock. Looking back, it was the only one that actually worked. Screen #3 was from a different batch altogether, or that’s what I was told. This screen worked for about 1 month before it started to reveal it’s unique magical powers. just like screen #1, screen #3 mutes calls & tries to put the call into Facetime. Warning: make sure you’re fully dressed when this happens. I’m not saying anyone actually saw anything they shouldn’t have but I’m also not saying they didn’t :) In the end, this phone had to be replaced under warranty and the money paid for the screen replacement was a total loss. Lesson learned. If I happen to break my iPhone screen while in Florida, I’ll drive to the Apple Store!
