My husband and mother in law came here to walk around. There are many trails to take in the park and you could spend hours here. Loved walking around in here. In warmer weather, kayaking would be wonderful in the river. We didn’t see any wild life while walking around but i’m sure in warmer times of the year, there would be more around.

Great park for family fun. Pavilion, hiking trails, geocaching, and batting cage were great for our big family, and spotted seven gopher tortoises on our hikes! I do wish at least one baseball field had been open. Disappointed we couldn’t play a baseball game, but otherwise a great park in all other ways!

I don’t know how Florida pulls off these beautiful parks with fantastic facilities. Lighted tennis courts, tons of fields, batting practice cages(manual). I mainly use the single track trails which are really great and challenging as you want them to be. These are beautifully maintained and include man made bridges, technical ramps and lines. Miles of fun.

A huge, wonderful park! As Sarah T.‘s review says, there are a ton of fields and miles of trails. Everything is in very good condition. A note about the tennis courts — there are 10 of them and they have free lights at night!

This is a fantastic park to visit! They have: — Baseball fields — Canoeing /Kayaking — Pavilions /Concession Stand — Inline Skating /Outdoor Hockey Rink — Tennis — Soccer — Football — Playground — Picnic Tables /Bathrooms — Hiking Trails — Mountain Biking Trails Let me tell you about the trails — holy moly are they fantastic! This is why we went to the park. The first time we went for the hiking trails which go for miles. We walked along the river, went over small foot bridges, and trekked on ample paths. One moment you’re walking through a jungle and the next you’re in a pine tree wilderness. Then we went back for the bike trails and had a blast. I’m not an avid mountain biker but seemed to handle the twists, turns, and bumps well. You could bike for miles and the diverse scenery is quite enjoyable. The low-lying palm trees make it bumpy and a little challenging. Be sure to wear a helmet, bring a camera, and plenty of water! You’ll love it — I promise!
