I love this store! The jewelry, clothes and gifts are amazing. I love the sales team, they are lovely, knowledgeable and have great taste. I am not a sorority sister — so I take some offense to the review written before… It Is a place where all with good taste will find something they like ! Love it !!!

Absolutely in love with this store! Unlike the below reviews, I am a huge fan of Lilly Pulitzer (I wasn’t in a sorority) and anything just really light and comfortable. Living in Florida year round, that is what we need. This store has it all! From shoes that match the outfits perfectly, with jewelry that the girls who work there help put an outfit together with. You walk to the other side and it has every gift possible, from stationary, phone covers, wine bags, and any home goods. It is fantastic — it is very girly, but I just found some great gifts for the guys since the holidays are right around the corner.
It is a must when you are downtown Stuart!

I’m with Barbara, I love-​hate this store. It is definitely where gals from sororities probably buy their engagement invitations! However, I love everything they carry and sell and could easily blow 100 – 200 bucks every time! Worth stopping in while in Stuart!

I hate the fact that I’m giving this place four stars because it goes against everything I believe in. Matilda’s is a sorority girl’s dream, complete with pink and green Lilly Pulitzer invitations to match your Lilly caftan, and don’t forget the Lilly onesie for baby Bitsy! Barf. But much to my chagrin, I shop here frequently to pick up a hostess gift or stationery because I’m lazy and the location is great. And then I immediately go home, throw on a black Chanel anything, and listen to Nine Inch Nails– just to get myself back to normal.
