Even if you were not going to buy any bamboo, a field trip here is worth the drive. In our case, we were looking for some ornamental bamboo that would look beautiful as well as grow in a narrow space. this farm, which is 25 acres, has only «clump» bamboo, which means it does not spread out, contrary to what most think. We were given a tour, by Alex Fell, who was so pleasant, funny, knowledgeable and above all, someone who loves what they do. Alex helped us select the perfect bamboo for our specific application and we knew from the first few seconds that we were in expert hands. We came away much more knowledgeable than when we arrived, and I am one to research to death anything new to me.
