Shear Perfection

I am new to the stuart area and wanted to find a local place for a pedicure. Even though the reviews were not great I decided to try it. I called at 3:45 and was able to get an appt at 4:30. Mai was wonderful. I had a deluxe pedicure and it was great. I usually paint my own toenails either pink or purple so I chose a French for a difference. Mai was friendly, talkative and still did a terrific job. I will be back. Glad I did not trust the reviews!

The service is not up to par for the price. High turnover rate, stylist need more training. I went back to Aveda to get my color fixed after I left here.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE! This place is a joke I had asked for a color specialist what I got was someone who did not know what the heck they were doing. I would post pictures of what I asked for and what I ended up with but it’s embarrassing. When I showed the «person» cause she is definitely not a stylist, what I wanted she made me feel bad about it like I was crazy. The owner needs to A-​fire her or B-​send her to some classes I believe they have hair shows in Orlando keep up with new trends and how to do them correctly. I’m not a hairstylist but I would have probably done a better job on my own hair what a shame because I paid over a hundred dollars for crap. just terrible

It’s a tiny place… but they seem to have a lot fit into the location. It was my 1^st visit and I thought it was clean and the staff was friendly. As soon as you walk in, they have a huge sign warning you not to lean or even touch their receptionist counter — I don’t know what’s up with that! I clumsily held onto (juggled) all my things while I was paying because I had to wonder what kind of scene they would have made had I placed my things on the super-​special counter.
My appointment was for waxing — I saw Deborah. I would recommend her and I plan give her my repeat business. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed — which is saying something when you’re there for a waxing ;-)

I am new to the area and gave this salon a try. I usually only use a trusted stylist to do my hair. I have had it done professionally many many years.
I told the woman, «I’d like to clean it up and get rid of my dead ends.» «do some long layers and some bangs.» no big deal, right? WRONG.
don’t you have continue to learn new technique as you go through your career?
needless to say I am very disappointed.
the salon was clean but doesn’t make up for a bad simple haircut.
oh yea, at the end when she was blow drying me, she wrapped my hair around 5 – 6 round brushes and left them in my hair like curlers. it was the most ridiculous thing I’ve experienced at a salon.
