One of the premier watering holes for craft beer in my hometown. Here you’ll find excellent Florida brews and other acclaimed microbreweries from around the country. The place was filled to the brim on a Saturday night, which we were pleased to see. There’s seating indoors and out, with an upstairs lounge-y area. The live band playing fit the atmosphere. I was diggin’ the Pink Floyd covers! Beer, beer, beer! Of course I was in a hoppy mood and indulged in a IPA from Green Bench, Southern Tier and Bear Republic. These bad boys were the real deal. The bartender actually disapproved of a beer I was looking to order, and for that, I thank you! There is a food menu, however, I couldn’t find one, nor did it seem like they were pushing it. Not really sure if they prepare the food in house. But, we did have little trays of free popcorn all evening. Other than that, pretty attentive bartenders. Whenever I’m home, you’ll find me here.

Watch your bank charges with this place. They charged me more than what is on the copy of my signed receipt. A clearly written receipt, btw. Not sure if it was intentional or mistake, but either way, review your charges!

Great place to get a craft beer! This place has a nice cozy bar and great bartenders. I used PartyLink and got my first drink for a $ 1 you can’t beat that!

Although my husband loved the beer selection, it smelled like dirty mops and the food selection was very 90’s bar food. We thought about having lunch before entering but with the smell it turned us off. Had a beer and left.

Need to impress your spouse? Close a sensitive business deal? Negotiate a favorable divorce settlement? Finance a lunar landing? Obtain world-wide peace? Then allow Shayna to guide you though the wondrous delights of «THECRAFTEDKEG» in Stuart FL. The range of crafted brews and the knowledge of the«Beergineer»(Guy Piasecki) are so extensive, one will be elevated to rapturous zones of fluidity heretofore unknown in this hemisphere. Trust me, I know good pubs, and THIS is one of the goodest! If the cold beers, delicious cheeses, and savory meats of «THECRAFTEDKEG» don’t exemplify the meaning of life for you, then pay your bar tab, go home, flush your supply of Viagra, put a parakeet cage over your head, surround yourself with tofu, and watch«Wheel of Fortune» re-runs ad infinitum. Otherwise, see you there… first beer is on me!

We walked in with the intention of grabbing a lite nosh and then heading to Terra Formata across the street. We sat at a table, and my friend needed to use the restroom but it was locked/occupied. So while we waited we looked at their menu and debated whether we wanted the perogies or the meat and cheese. In the entire 15 or 20 minutes we were there not a single employee acknowledged our presence, put a napkin down and asked what we wanted to drink, nothing. We were ignored the entire time we were there. There were a handful of patrons at the bar, and that was it, so it’s not like the place was jumping and they didn’t notice us. We were seen walking in, I know the blond at the counter saw us, but not a single move in our direction. It’s a shame because we have been looking for crafted beers to sample… Never going back here again.

First, let me say that I hope the owner reads this and takes it to heart. My wife and I stopped in here for some drinks. Our initial experience with the staff was not a pleasant one, they were lazy and frigid(so I can sympathize with other reviewers comments), but then the owner came over and was very pleasant and helpful. So we had a great experience. The beer selection was great. The atmosphere was nice and welcoming. We didn’t get any food. We will definitely go back, I just hope the owner has the presence of mind to speak to some of his staff and either have them shape up or ship out — it seems to be seriously affecting his otherwise pleasant establishment.

Great selection of local craft beers as well as others! Nice atmosphere and the service was timely, but not necessarily friendly or helpful. Food was really good. Would definitely return.

Came to The Crafted Keg for paint nite this past Sunday 8÷16÷15 and it was a pretty good experience. 2 of the beers I initially wanted(I know for sure 1 of them was #3 on the menu) were out. So, I went with the servers recommendation of a tangerine wheat beer, I have had this before and it was, as I expected, ok. We were going to order more and some food to snack on, but it got busy and the bar tender and solo server seemed to be a little overwhelmed so we continued to paint. They do have some large screens and TVs to watch games on and music playing. There is a small-ish seating area outside. Inside the building there is a decent sized bar to sit at and a few high-top 4 top tables downstairs. The upstairs area where the paint nite was being held is a small, long, loft like area which overlooks the downstairs area. I imagine there is normally some table as well as the lip like bar ledge area we were using to host the easels.(I can see this place feeling cramped easily when they are busy). I would like to come back to just have a few drinks and try some of the food. Perhaps this review will be updated soon.

Beer, Brats, Bacon and more Beer. Verdict If you love all the things I mentioned about and live or are visiting downtown Stuart you would be a fool not to visit here. It’s not a big place but it has great character plus it’s family owned. Remember to tell them the Dan sent you and Stay Hungry!

Good selection of beers. We ordered a few flights but the bartenders didn’t really explain what they were serving so if you liked one and wanted to order again… good luck. Service is nonexistent unless it’s time to checkout or you’re at the bar. We asked the bartender if there was a menu since it was our first time, he paused and pointed at the TV and said look at the TV’s. We obviously saw that there was a rotating menu of beers on the TV but a 1 minute explanation of what was offered etc… doesn’t hurt. Live music was good and the loft is cool to hangout and quieter if you want to have a conversation. Overall, just so so.

As far as craft beer bars go, this place is a local favorite with a cult like following. It’s my first stop when I’m in town. Walk in two story cooler for the kegs sitting right behind the taps is simply amazing.

We love this place. Great beer, great staff, great ambiance. Generally premium prices, but worth it overall. But… only 3 stars because our last several visits were disappointing: beers which are listed as 16 oz are served in 7 or 12 oz glasses. Please update the menu to match what is served!

When I was initially heading into this bar I was pretty excited because of there somewhat extensive craft beer selection. I’m a craft beer lover through and through so it truly made my heart happy to see that. Much to my surprise, they had Hopslam available and I immediately jumped at the opportunity to have one of my favorite beers that is pretty hard to find. Being a Michigan native, I’m pretty much a Bell’s fan through and through. The bar itself(although small) was also pretty cool with various signage everywhere promoting different craft beers. It was also helpful that they have a TV dedicated to listing out the beers they have with the ABV and origin. I was, however, a little disappointed by the lack of an actual food menu. I don’t quite understand why that seems to be the norm here in Florida, but it’s always a tad annoying to me when I have to leave a bar in order to find a place to eat. They also seemed a bit understaffed and the bartender seemed like she lacked a bit of knowledge about the actual beers they had, as well. Overall, The Crafted Keg is an alright place with a pretty decent beer selection. It’s worth checking out for after dinner drinks or for a quick couple of hours out with a friend.

I’ve seen a lot of complaints about this place, but I disagree. Love the atmosphere and the bartenders are extremely knowledgable and know their product. First and foremost I’d give it five stars but the seating is kind of limited. Though the loft seating is appreciated since you can overlook the bottom bar and it’s a bit quieter for conversations. The lower bar is completely stocked with a huge beer selection, which is on a tv to help you select. The fact that it tells you the ABV, origin, price, color, and the amount left in the keg is amazing. I came looking for a lighter beer and they gave me something that was light but not bud light and sent me on my way. While yes the menu is limited, this is for sure a late night place. Because we came here after dinner and a small snack is perfect with a beer after a heavy meal. This is not a dinner place, but a place to close out a fun night and just relax with friends. They have a good amount of events listed as well, while it was quiet for a Saturday the music playing on the speakers was good and again great after dinner to just relax.

Nice bar for craft beer drinkers. There’s about 40 on tap. There’s a loft/balcony area upstairs which makes the capacity much more tolerable during the busier nights. They serve a few apps as well.

Stumbled upon this place navigating Stuart. Decided to stop in for a small lunch bite. They have a wide selection of brews on tap, and can put any brew in a growler to take with you. They have inside and outside seating, and good service. Stop in for good beer and good atmosphere.

This place is NEW. Opened only a couple days ago and they are packed. They serve beer and wine, for food tapas(that means small portion plates), in other words, if you are expecting to eat a meal course at this place, then go elsewhere first. Staff, owner, and smoking friendly. The hostess knows nothing about the menu and drinks but hopefully that will change in due course. This is a great place for a group of friends to hang out and have a great time. Outdoor seating available as well as a loft(upstairs). Also, they have cornhole! Dress attire: Casual and semi-formal. Doubt anybody would really care. Crowd: Lively. Good and fun people. Location: It is right across from Terra Fermata(rumor: owned by the same people?) on Colorado Avenue in Downtown Stuart. Parking is small and limited. My recommendation would be to carpool or beat the rush. Food and Cheese: Mediocre.(*see my pictures) That is biased though, coming from a picky food eater. Instead of just pretzel, sausage, and ham, they need burgers/sliders and pizza because that is what I think about when having a beer! I wasn’t a beer person until my girlfriend introduced the Angry Orchard to me one night at Terra Fermata. I’m glad she did because I love it. Drinks: Need more selections otherwise if you like sweets, the Angry Orchard Cider(apple flavored) and the Peach. Had them mixed and it was scrumptious! If you don’t know what you want, you are welcome to sample up to five drinks a board. If I remember correctly, it’s $ 7? But it’s worth it. Excuse my writing format. This is not the norm of my reviews. However, I do recommend that you check your bill before you pay because my party was charged for extras and drinks we did not order. We also had to wait a long time for our drinks and food to be served. The food wasn’t worth waiting for. Aside from that, our server took really great care of us. Amanda was her name. She seemed to know the menu and beverages very well. Like I said before, the hostess knew nothing about the drinks. She came out with a drink and gave it to me saying it was what I ordered when it really was not. I’m just saying, if you have questions, ask your server not the hostess! Regardless, I’m looking forward to coming back here.
