Came on Sunday for lunch. There was a line but it moved reasonably quick.
Food was fine and the 4 of us all enjoyed our meals. The problem was that the service was unacceptably slow and waitress was a little unpleasant. Just slow as molasses really. I can’t remember many times in my life where it has taken this long to receive food after ordering and then an extraordinate amount of time to receive the check. The other TooJays locations are far superior with service.

Avoid this place if you’re looking for good deli.

This place is a deli for people who don’t know what a real deli should be like. Pastrami was rubber. Pickles aren’t even deli pickles! Just TERRIBLE. THIS PLACE DOESNT DESERVE TO BE A DELI!!!

As TooJay’s goes, I like this one the best. It has deli atmosphere. I personally don’t think any of the locations is what I think is a top notch deli, but I grew up in the Northeast, so maybe I’m spoiled. I gave it a two because the food is average. I do love the bread though. I like that you can hand in a carry out order while dining. So I usually get something like bagels and lox for the next morning if I’m there for dinner. Always good service and lots of parking

My husband and I have been going to TooJays for the last 5 years. First as visitors to the area, now as permanent residents. We have definitely noticed a decline in both the level of service, and the quality of the food. Our last visit, two weeks ago, was an incredible disappointment. After we were seated, no one ever came to wait on us, finally the hostess noticed and found a server for us. She then took our drink order, but never came back with them. After another long wait, we flagged down someone else, who went and got them for us, and then took our food order. We ordered an appetizer. It never came. A third server delivered our food, and what a disappointment. We questioned the appetizer, she had no clue what we were talking about. I ordered the half sandwich and soup. My sandwich literally had one piece of ham, one piece of Swiss and the middle section of the red onion. To top it all off, it was hanging off the bread. The presentation was deplorable. When I showed it to the server, even she shook her head. The sad part is, this same confusion was playing out at tables around us. There were many unhappy customers that day, and it was 2:30 in the afternoon, not exactly crunch time. We are sorry to see what was a great deli, let quality and customer service slip through their hands.

Horrible! Food was terrible. Our order was wrong and when we finally found our waitress she seemed annoyed at the whole situation. We’ve eaten here many times but after this time I would never go back.

I’m giving ⁵⁄₅ stars for one reason– their banana dream cake. It is honestly the best cake I’ve ever had. I have it as my birthday cake every year. I haven’t eaten there before so I can’t say anything about the dining experience, but if your looking for a delicious cake to pick up go here!

Great deli food! Potato pancake nacho type appetizer was not authentic NY deli food, but it was very tasty! My roast beef sandwich was piled high on soft crusty rye bread. My son had delicious chicken soup and a great corned beef sandwich. Dr Brown’s cream soda brought back childhood memories. It wasn’t until I got home and read reviews that I discovered they have egg creams! Next time!!! Oh, yes… there will be a next time!

Do you like frozen food in a nursing home setting?
Can’t stand this place. It was good about 5 years ago before it sold. Now it’s not worth a $hit…

Such quality food for the money, and great portions! One of my favourite places to dine while enjoying Florida!

We ordered nova on bagel and bacon egg on bagel.
Both were very good,
Especially Nova, very fresh .
Waitress was attentive and nice .
Waiter that seated us was not nice and acted like we were bothering him.
This is definitely a good stop while in Stuart florida

First time here, very good food and excellent service. Highly recommend. Definitely check it out!

I eat here a lot. What and incredible BLT. Highly recommend the Chipada. Very consistently cooked. Love this place great waitress Susie.

Very good but noisy

Went here on a recommendation. Ordered pastrami on rye. In a Jewish type deli I figured it would be great! It wasn’t. I was told the rye bread would be thick, soft and tasty. It was thin, hard around the edges and tasteless. Maybe they ran out of the bread they normally serve? The pastrami, sorry to say, was dry, lots of it, but dry and cut too thick for my taste. I also tried the potato knish which could have been hotter but was great. Got two more to go. Service could have improved the overall experience but it was simply ok. No drink re-​fills were offered but to be fair we didn’t ask. Haven’t been back yet but I probably will. Too many 5 star reviews not to try again.

Great food at reasonable prices my husband says this was the best Reuben he has ever had! Extensive menu and something for everyone.

I am done with Too Jay’s. The service is horrible at the Stuart location and also the Palm Beach Gardens location. The Juno Beach location is MUCH better. The food is consistent but the service is just bad. I have done dine in and take out and they are always slow. An hour lunch easily becomes 90 minutes simply because they are slow.

Always consistent food. Fairly priced. Good service. Can get busy during season and after 630. Perfect place to grab a bite right before a movie. The tuna salad is great. Banana Dream cake is amazing (and I hate bananas but I’m addicted) but the key lime pie is the worst thing on the menu (bland, odd consistency, not tart, just wrong).

It’s good for the Stuart area, but not by NYC standards. If this place existed in NYC they wouldn’t get a second chance from me – there’s way better deli food around (hello, Katz’s and Second Avenue Deli!). But alas, it’s all I’ve got here in FL, so I’ll take it.
I got a Reuben — quickly made and friendly service. It was an ok sandwich, but nothing crazy-​good. I did appreciate that it came with a side of fries, coleslaw and a pickle. I might be back if I get another desperate deli craving, but it will probably be a while.
Based on taste, Toojay’s gets 2 stars — Meh. But the friendly service bumped them up to 3.
