Very very nice lady, but no longer in business at this salon. Only works about one day a month. I bought the half off deal and unfortunately will lose this money due to having no way if redeeming it.

I came in with a mess. I left thrilled. I tend to be extremely unsure of what I want and have a hard time articulating what I think I would like. But she never ever makes me feel bad. She’s patient and kind and just wants you to leave HAPPY. She even calls later to follow up and make sure I’m still happy. She stands by her work and I’ll stand by her! My hunt for a stylist is Ovah… if you go to her, yours will be too. Promise!

I am very hesitant when it comes to people touching my hair, and I’ve always been a low-​maintenance-​all-​natural kind of girl. I don’t like change too much and have had the same haircut for about 10 years now. I finally started getting some grays and decided it was time to start experimenting with my hair. Up until about 2 – 3 years ago, at age 24, I had never even colored my hair. I slowly made the switch from medium brown hair to BLONDE. Slowly but surely, I made the addicting transition and I love it. I even try different shades of blonde to see what works best, and I could swear each color looks better than the last. Nicki does a a wonderful job at listening to what I want, and is honest with her opinion if she thinks a certain color/​level wont work well with my skin tone. She’s always right.
She is able to achieve the look I want without unnecessarily damaging my hair. She is really good at making highlights look natural without the typical bulky look of highlights. She’s great to chat with while in the chair and she uses the best smelling stuff to wash/​treat my hair. She is up to date with the best products to help my hair battle the blonde. I trust her judgement because I know it’s what she uses on her own head.
Luxe Parlour is really cute and it’s really close to my house, which is always a plus! But I’d follow Nicki practically anywhere :)

I don’t get my hair done often but when I do I go to Nicki. She’s a perfectionist which is perfect for every girl’s expectations! I recommend her for color, blow dry, cuts, and styling.
She’s an awesome person with a great personality.
I give her a 2 thumbs up. If I had 2 more hands I would give her 4 thumbs up. but I don’t. so five stars would do.

Nobody else I can trust with my hair after going to Nicki! LOVE everything she has done with my hair color from natural highlights to my amazing ombré. She is really knowledgeable about various products and always has the best suggestions, but always listens to exactly what I want as well.
She is also really personable and and attentive which is a big plus! :) YOU WON’T BE DISAPPOINTED!

She didn’t cut my hair because she won’t be in today, but I’m giving her 5 stars because she answered her phone at 9am when she opens at 11am, just to tell me she wasn’t going to be in today. She was very kind and human about it. I just found that funny and slightly charming.

The salon is super cute and Nicki and Christine are very nice.
I was very hesitant about letting someone new touch my hair but Nicki made me feel super comfortable, she took her time and she explained every step of what she was doing.
She did exactly what I wanted and I love it!

I have seen the light! Came in to see Nicki after reading the wonderful reviews. I have been dying my own hair (black) for a couple of months. Apparently black box is a huge no no. Nicki was up to the challenge. Nicki took her time and really talked me through each step. She was very friendly and attentive and made sure I was comfortable. My purple highlights look faboulousand are exactly what I wanted. She has mentioned that the bleach might mess up my hair a bit, I was willing to take the risk. However, my hair still feels healthy and I don’t notice that huge of a difference. I will definitely be coming back she is amazing with hair. The salon is beautiful too and very welcoming. I will recommend her to everyone I know!

Nicki is officially my go-​to hair guru back at home! I am in Los Angeles visiting my family over summer break, and decided I needed to get my hair under control before heading back to San Fran. I came across Luxe Parlour online when I searched the words «Brazilian Blowout». I was skeptical to put my hair into unfamiliar hands, but Nicki immediately eased my concerns. Upon my arrival I was offered refreshments, which was much needed after the 2 hour drive from Palos Verdes!
We got started right away, and Nicki was extremely knowledgable about aftercare products, post-​care treatment, and the dreaded few days after do’s and dont’s. The salon had the newest and juiciest magazines, I grabbed so many that by the time the treatment was over I still had one that was unread! The salon itself was very tastefully set up and decorated, it was a nice ambiance.
I have thick, medium-​long hair, and LOTS of it! Nicki took her time, I did not feel rushed at all, and she explained each and every step of the process as she did it. Nicki was SO thorough, she even took her time to make sure to get my stubborn baby hairs!!! My treatment took longer than 3 hours, and I even stayed a quarter past closing time, without feeling rushed out the door or anything.
Nicki was also a very pleasant person to spend 3 hours with, we talked about everything and anything, it was never awkwardly silent, which makes for an all around better and more enjoyable experience!
If you’re considering a Brazilian Blowout, call Luxe and ask for Nicki, you won’t be disappointed!

Nicki is amazing! I went in with brassy blonde ugly hair to beautiful! She was proffessional and amazing! The minute I walked out of the salon I got hit on!!! Go to her! She is amazing!!!

I work in Tarzana and during a lunch hour poked my head in and NIcki was there. I asked her if she had time to accomodate me for a haircut and color after 5:00 p.m. She said, of course, I will wait for you!
She took her time looking at my skin tones and asked if I wanted a touch of red in the color. I was a little hesitant but said okay. .. let’s see if it will make a difference.
She then cut my hair for the summer short, over the ears. I told her I like my sides long. She took out the bulk in the back and I feel lighter. The red in my hair is very sublte and with my skin tone looks wonderful!
I got some terrific compliments from friends and family so I handed out Nicki’s cards to them.
I’d say GO!!!

I’m going to have to agree with the other ladies here and say Nicki is the best EVER with colors! I routinely made a mess out of my hair by refusing to go to stylists… but I had to throw in the towel after my last disaster. My hair had it and my boyfriend said it felt terrible to touch. I booked an appointment with Nicki and explained what I wanted (keep it blonde, please try to keep the length?) and not only was she somehow able to fix my color, but she also pulled off the miracle of letting me keep the length of my hair! 3 months later and my hair still feels and looks fabulous… my boyfriend is happy too!

I LOVE NICKI !!! SHE IS THE BEST HAIR STYLIST… She is wonderful with color correction. I get the best complements. she saved my hair which had a lot of chemical breakage. she is such a sweetheart. and extremely talented. she KNOWS what shes doing !!! Best of the best :)
