We were very frustrated by our PAW experience. As working parents, we looked high and low for camps that were focused on our daughters’ interests and would also engage them socially. We were thrilled to find a photography camp that was nearby and had a full-day option. But the Photography Camp takes a back seat to the theater camp in Studio City, and our daughters were two of only three campers signed up for both weeks for which they were registered – clearly not the fun, social camp experience we’d had in mind. When we contacted the camp’s offices to share our frustration, the business office was not understanding, and in fact, repeatedly tried to shift blame for the situation onto our daughters(who were bored stiff) and to us, for not choosing to feel privileged for the individualized attention our girls were receiving. I wish they’d contacted us ahead of time so that we could have make the conscious choice to give our daughters private photography lessons instead of camp. And we’d been assured that two weeks would provide an intensive, immersive learning experience for our daughters, but it was a complete rehash of the first, introductory week. Ultimately PAW gave us no refund and no apologies, and in our daughters’ opinions, no fun. Next year we’ll seek out one of the many other art camp options in the San Fernando Valley. We were highly dissatisfied with our PAW experience.

I’ve gone to this camp for two years and so far it’s been AWESOME!!! I was in Mary Poppins and I played Binnacle last year. Last year I was also in Wizard of Oz as a Munchkin. This summer I went and I was Ryan Seacrest in Annie and in West side Super Story I was Nick Fury. This camp is great and I think every one should go!!! ;)))
