Soreya Hair & Make-up Artist

First and foremost… I wanna apologize to the beautifully talented soreya yann… for taking almost 7 months to complete this long overdue review. Forgive me girl
In all seriousness… soreya is hands down… such an amazingly talented makeup and hair artist. She and her team worked up some magic on my wedding day and there is no one else I could have trusted to make me feel like the most beautiful bride ever! From the day i met her for my makeup trial… I knew from the get go that we would get a long just well. She was very kind and listened to every detail. I showed her a pic of the makeup I wanted and she succeeded without any problem at all. Then once my wedding day arrived, she and her girls came right on time and worked so quickly and efficiently to get all of us glammed up. Soreya even stayed with me until a few of my photos were taken just to make sure every part of my makeup and hair were perfectly in place.
Soreya yann… thank you again from the bottom of my heart for all the beautiful memories I will now have for the rest of my life! My momma, my sister, my girls and I love u!

Let me start off by saying I absolutely LOVE Soreya’s work. I’ve used her twice and will never ever replace her with anybody else ever! The last time I used her services was for my baby shower. It was a last minute call but she always manages to accommodate me and my needs. She drove over 50 miles to my location and was on time, she even was kind enough to stay to make sure everything was how I wanted it. My make-​up didn’t feel caked on and not once did it sweat off. All day I got compliments on how natural looking it was. She most importantly listened to my concerns and made me feel beautiful on my special day. Soreya I want to say thank you! Pictures say a thousand words and now I have these memories that I can pass down to my son one day and that speaks volumes. You are truly gifted. I will definitely be booking you again soon! Also for all the Unilocalers wanting to know: Pricing is always affordable especially when you’re not born wealthy and are on a budget. Lol For the work that she does I would expect it to be tripple what she charged me. Like I mentioned earlier Soreya will forever be my go to make-​up artist/​consultant!

Soreya is amazing! not only detailed, but listens to what you want. It’s important to be happy with not only the makeup but your hair.
I needed my makeup done for an event and she did an amazing job making me look flawless. She delivered, which is what was expecting seeing her photos and IG.

Soreya listens to what hairstyle and/​or make-​up you want achieved… no drama, just simply professional. I did not know what to expect as I don’t have my hair and make-​up done often, but she made me feel very comfortable from the beginning we started. She is easy to talk to, and gets your vision. Her brushes are clean, make-​up sets and work space is also clean and orderly. She’s knowledgeable with her products and doesn’t use cheap ones. Very flexible when booking sessions. Wow! What a fun experience. My sister and I had a red carpet event in Hollywood and Soreya did an amazing job on both of us. I would **highly** recommend her to anyone that needs hair and/​or makeup done in the LA/​Hollywood area. She pampers you with cooling eye gel packets and maintains a calm presence. She arrived promptly on-​time and finished up right on time. I will definitely use her again if the need arises.

I found her here on Unilocal and emailed her right away and after talking to my future hubby (Now my husband) I finally hired Soreya to do my hair and make up for my wedding day at the courthouse. I wasnt worried if she’s good or no cuz all the pictures that I’ve seen on Unilocal,instagram and etc, says it all.

I was referred to Soreya by my hair stylist for my July 2015 wedding. As soon as I was done with my trial — i knew that she was amazing! I had a back tattoo on my left shoulder that I didnt want to be shown, and she covered it up so well! You can’t even tell that there is a tattoo there. It happened to rain on my wedding day too, but the makeup did not move at all. I highly recommend Soreya because she does BEYOND AMAZING work! You will not be disappointed! She always responds within 1 – 2 days on emails. It was truly a pleasure having her do my makeup for my big day. I would definitely use her again for any future events.

Soreya did our makeup and hair for a black tie gala event. She arrived early, she was professional and super nice to talk to, and we looked *amazing.* Both my sister and I got hair and makeup and were done right on time (actually a little early) and we were both completely delighted with the way we looked in person and in photos. Soreya is super talented. I only wished I had paid more attention to how she did my makeup — so maybe I could have learned some new tips. I absolutely recommend her to anyone who has a special event or special day. Call her — you will be very pleased with your choice.

Where do I even start!
I found Soreya on Unilocal,I called her and told her what I needed which was airbrush for my back. My wedding was like 2 weeks away and I had a very open back dress. I was afraid my acne scars and new breakouts would ruin everything. I asked her to airbrush my back and how that would work. We corresponded over the phone, she worked with my busy schedule and when we met she said for sure she could help me. Believe me when I tell you that she made my back look 10 000% better! I didn’t think about my back not once, I wasnt self conscious, and I received nothing but compliments. My back and my dress looked absolutely stunning. I just received my photos back and I could kiss Soreya! She absolutely worked magic! And if I could give her 10 stars I would.

Soreya was truly amazing! Her latest open appointment was at 1:30 pm and the wedding i was attending started at 5 pm and ended at 1:30 am. My make up was flawless until the very end! I’ve had at least 5 people commenting about my make up and of course I pointed them to Soreya! I will definitely use Soreya again!

Soreya was such a pleasure to work with from day one. She is quick to respond to questions and travels to you if necessary. She did my hair and makeup for my engagement shoot and wedding day. I felt the most beautiful I have every felt! She takes your feedback and directions very well to make sure that your vision is executed. Her and the girls arrived right on time for the day of my wedding and were super sweet and professional to work with. I received so many compliments on my hair and makeup on the day of. I came across a friends engagement photo on Instagram and she tagged her makeup artist. I called Soreya, made a trial hair/​makeup appointment, and before the end of the appointment my search was over! She transformed my skin, into a luminous, flawless canvas, that lasted the entire day/​night of my wedding! At the trial she did my hair in a low bun but I ended up changing my mind shortly before the wedding and had my hair down. She was very professional and personable to talk with, and most importantly punctual. The morning of my wedding she did hair and makeup for myself and my mom. Although I was not worried about myself, my mom is a VERY simple woman, and her daily makeup routine consists of nothing but a moisturizer. I was nervous how my mom’s makeup would look, since she did not have a trial and she wears such minimal makeup. But seriously, seeing how beautiful my mom looked was an absolute highlight of my wedding day. I really appreciated the time and detail she put into completing both of our looks. My now husband, was not very found of when I got my makeup professionally done, but even he complimented me multiple times through out the day! I was overall very happy with the end result and my ONLY REGRET, is that I didn’t hire her for my engagement photos! I seriously can’t wait to use her for future events!

I was going to do my own engagement session makeup, but went with my better judgment and looked for a professional instead. My appointment with her was at 1, but our photo session wasn’t until 5pm… my hair and makeup still looked great hours later. We were running all over town taking cheesy photos with beads of sweat from a VERY hot day, but my hair did not move and my makeup stayed flawless! I’m just sad I didn’t find her earlier, I already booked a different MUA and hair stylist for my wedding day.
* Side note: She has multiple salons, I went her location in Burbank which has crazy street parking limits. If you’re appointment is going to take a while, move your car from time to time.

Soreya did my makeup for my wedding and was absolutely amazing!!! Not only is she talented but she is VERY professional. She has a calm spirit, easy going vibe and positive energy to her. Every bride wants to feel relaxed and peaceful, she made this experience stress-​free. I loved what she did to my mothers face too! She made her look 10 years younger!!! I hired Soreya to do my hair and makeup for my wedding this past July. Her team also did hair and makeup for my 3 bridesmaids, my mom, and my mother in law. We all loved our airbrushed looks that felt lightweight and natural but still super glamorous! Soreya is extremely professional and is talented enough to achieve any look you desire! What’s not to love?
Eyelashes, lipgloss and sparkle — all things girl. Soreya and her helper were incredibly timely and did wonders for my best friend and her bridal party.
Soreya evaluates each of her canvases as that of an artist. She takes into account skin tone, eye shape and color as well as any suggestions you have for her as an artist. She wants you to look gorgeous but also realizes that you have a preference too. She’s accommodating and friendly — she makes the entire experience warm.
The makeup was as flawless as my best friend’s wedding day.

My wedding was on 10.13.13, Soreya drove out to us in Camarillo! What is different about Soreya is the following:
1. Responds promptly to all questions by the client
2. Up front about charges
3. Charges per mile of distance for milage instead of one expensive ass flat rate
4. She is a woman of her word and EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL
5. Open minded and flexible to meet the client’s needs
A bride doesn’t need to worry about looking good on her wedding, she needs to just hire Soreya and let her work it! You need professional makeup that stays on, looks good with flash, and highlights the right features of your face while making your eyeshadow VOGUE approved and blended into perfection? Than Call Soreya!
On to my hair, well yes I am one insufferable, indecisive, OCD, and perfections woman, but guess what? Soreya doesn’t give a kitty! She worked with me until I felt happy! Then on my wedding I walked in with a whole different idea, and she worked it! The point is that I felt comfortable and Soreya never steered me away from my ideas she only made them better and helped me make my vision come to life.
I asked Soreya to make my bridal party look like royalty, and with each one that was finished with hair & makeup (H & M) all I did was bow down! Walking down the aisle for a bride to see her royal court represent her with so much radiance and beauty was an honor… Brides having the perfect H & M on your wedding day is vital, I highly recommend Soreya!
