$ 35 for a gel manicure?! Yessssss please. Friendly staff, and they always get my nails done in a timely manner. I highly recommend bringing cash, otherwise you will have to use their ATM… Also there is parking in the back of the building & I recommend Peking back there to avoid meter charges and possibility of a ticket. Best nail shop in studio city

I LOVE this place. All the ladies are very sweet and I have NEVER had a gel manicure last as long as it does when NINA does my nails!!! Sending everyone I know here! Everyone loves it!

I’ve been coming to this nail salon for about 5 years and I LOVE it. They always do a great job and get you in quickly as a walk-in. I always get gel because it lasts longer and looks nice. They are clean and really friendly. It’s really hard for me to get my nails done anywhere else.

I paid 40 for a full set and broke 3 nails in 3 days. Like nails were bleeding. I haven’t broken a nail in over a year so you know I was highly upset. HATETHISPLACE! Don’t go.

I have been to this place for some years and every time I found my favorite techs, they would be gone in a few months. So I gave up and tried whoever was available in the shop. Today it was a new girl without a uniform. She was very pretty but rough and rushed(my pedi usually takes 45 minutes but she was done in 25 minutes). I flinched three times with«ouch!» but the girl didn’t get gentle at all. I came home and examined my toe closely since it was sore. The entire left side of one toenail got a black line of blood. Considering that I never had such bloody nail before, I don’t think I would go back to this place. Hope it doesn’t get infected…

I go here before anywhere else at all costs. Katie was my girl but she moved on! I trust all the other girls there and will continue to :)

This was my first time here and I had an awesome experience. The staff was very attentive and accommodating. They gave me exactly what I asked for(hot water for my pedi) and were not shy about the prices as they made sure they were said after each of my request.lol. I received a full set of coffin shaped French tips $ 40 A spa pedi with callus remover $ 35 Eyebrow wax $ 15 I will go back I really liked it and the service was very good!

I come here when in the valley and the service is spotty. I had to ask the girl to remove my calluses after she painted my nails and she was annoyed. Not good service this time. Too expensive for what you get. I’ll keep looking for a better place.

Today’s service was excellent. Nina did my fill 25 $. And VyVy messaged my shoulders for 10 minutes 10 $. Best message at a nail salon I’ve ever received. 25 for a fill is 10 $ more then what I usually pay to get my nails done but I don’t think it’s overpriced at all. Why? Well because it’s on the blvd. Because I work in studio city I know how expensive rent is on Ventura. It’s also a really nice neighborhood. Free parking. There’s a Starbucks across the street. You might sit next to a celebrity here. So no I don’t think the prices are high. I think they are really fair. Also please tip your technician more then 20% if they do an excellent job. I’ll keep going to my guy in van nuys because I like to be loyal but in a bind I would definitely come here again. The only complaint I had was that the incense was too strong, or maybe I’m too sensitive to smell. I’ve been getting me nails done a long time and here is what I’ve learned. I hope these tips can help you out. –I’ll call the salon even if I’m 2 minutes away to ask for availability, then walk in. Trust there is good reason for this. But I won’t tell you ;) –when I walk in and don’t have an appointment I never ask how long the wait is, I tell them what time I need to be out of there by. That way 10 minutes of a wait won’t turn into 20. I do this everywhere and it’s worked out great. If they can’t get you out in time they will just tell you upfront. –I won’t watch the technician like a hawk while she works. I find that this makes them nervous(it would make anyone nervous) I also won’t chat much because I figure everyone is more focused when they’re not talking. –I won’t get offended if they talk in their language. Really even if they are talking smack, who cares as long as your nails look great. And besides if they’re talking trash then you probably gave them a reason to. –Pay before the nail polish is applied. I hang out at the nail salon until my nails are completely dry. Why waste 50 $ worth of work if you could just chill for 15 minutes. — it’s always better to wait for someone good you know there then to take a gamble and go with a new girl. –stay loyal to a nail tech and soon you won’t have to give them any direction. It’s nice to just sit and relax. Hope this was helpful.

The only person I go to is Cathy, she is the best at what she does. She’s sweet and nice. I would recommend newcomers to ask for her.

Hmm, too expensive for the service and a bit on the ghetto side. The tech cut so deep my toe bled for an hour!!! I was somewhat of a regular and they have yet to recognize me.

This place is very over priced for what you get. $ 33 for a mani/pedi. Across the street will do the same mediocre mani/pedi for $ 25 and they accept credit cards. They were closed so I ended up here.

$ 33.00 for a mani-pedi? That’s insane! This was a mediocre job at best. I will stick to my neighborhood salon that charges $ 22.00.

I come here every two weeks for the past year or so. I’ve never had a bad mani/pedi. They give a great shoulder/neck massage for $ 1/min. All the ladies are very friendly as well :)

I have been coming here since 2007 and I have never had a bad mani/pedi. I go to different places depending where I am running errands etc but no place compares to this place. Every time I want a perfect manicure I come here. ALl the girls are great but especially Jasmine and Nina. They are always busy but they always take me without an appointment.

My nail tech didn’t give a damn…(didn’t catch her name) which doesn’t matter because I won’t be back. The only reason I came in the first place is because Two Brown Eyed Girls is closed on Sundays, and my feet looked bunk. I was at the farmers market and decided to stop in because I don’t do ugly worn out nails. I got a regular pedicure, and they seemed irritated that I didn’t get a «spa style» pedi(an easy up charge). I don’t do those. More often then not, places don’t clean the spa bowls well enough, and you can easily get fungus. I get that a standard pedi is more work for the tech, but I’m tipping you homie, relax. Btw… I tip well. Both my nail techs at TBEG get $ 20 tip each EVERYTIME for mani and pedi. Twist it not. The girl here did a pretty job, but half of that is customer service and attitude. No smile, no thank you, noooooo nothin. Her massage was soooo lazy I couldn’t even believe it. Trust and believe her tip reflected her attitude. I even had to ASK for a receipt! They only take cash… as I walked out, the manger offered me a dry«thank you» and showed me her teeth. I know the difference between a smile and baring your fangs boo. Ladies, get your needs met elsewhere.
