On business so checked for a local pizza shop. This is it! Nice small place. Pizza was very good! Crust was crisp and ingrediants were fresh. Friendly people. If I come back to the area I will go back again.

Ever visit someplace and want to find that small, hole in the wall place with the great food that the locals know about? Of course you do. And through the power of Unilocal… You can. I do all the time and this is the latest find. My daughter and I tried this highly rated, tiny little place while at a basketball tournament tonight and we used our typical«small pizza and a meatball sandwich» test of greatness. We are happy to say the restaurant lived up to the hype, for the most part, anyway. The pizza was very big for a «small.» It would be the rough equivalent of a large in many places. The crust was very fresh, dense, chewy and tasty, a shade shy of medium thickness. The sauce was sweet and light and kind of unique. Good quality cheese as well. Surprisingly, there was very little grease at all, I assume due to the quality and freshness of the cheese. It was a nice, tasty pie, but not the rage that some reviews have given it. Well worth trying, but you can find better all over Rhode Island, so maybe I’m spoiled. The sandwich was good as well. Tasty meatballs covered in that nice sauce and cheese on a great, chewy, fresh roll. Unlike the pizza, the small was legitimately small, exactly what you would expect when you order a small. Overall, well worth the visit. There are only four booths and two tables for two inside, so take out might be prudent, especially if there’s a woman with four boys under 8 years old who are completely out of control, screaming, running around, opening and slamming the cooler, crashing into customers waiting for takeout, etc as was the case when we were waiting to be served. A very busy place since 1965 for a reason. Give it a try. You’ll be happy with the choice.

Ordered a tuna salad, as specified in menu, and received a tiny salad with one slice of cucumber, one slice of tomato and no dressing. I’ll opt for the pizza next time…

Great pizza with quality ingredients. Nice chewy crust(don’t expect New Haven style thin crust). Closer to NY style. Really nice people. A worthwhile stop.

This place was awesome. We came in last night and they did not serve alcohol but they said we were welcome to bring our own so after I put in the orders for the pizza I drove up to the store and picked up a couple bottles of wine. The pizzas are HUGE and very delicious and the staff there is very friendly before we left one of the employees(95% sure the owner) came and shook everyone’s hand at the table can’t beat hospitality like that. Whenever I am in the area and in the pizza mood which is basically always my decision is already made for where to go.

I’m from CT and we were visiting Sturbridge Village. This place has such great reviews so we gave it a try. Maybe I am just too used to New Haven pizza. But I thought the pizza was horrible, all three that we ordered.

This is literally the only pizzeria I will go to out in Massachusetts. I’m orginally from the NY/NJ area so I’m pretty critical when it comes to pizza and Napoli Pizzeria hits home for me. Their pies are gigantic!!! The medium feeds 3 – 4 people and the largest size fed roughly 12 people.

This place is amazing I used to work there years ago and I really can’t say enough about the quality of the products that they use. I have now moved to San Diego and can’t find any pizza that even come close to the quality and taste of Napoli. See you in September when I come to visit!!! Maz

Just horrible! I used to go here often several years ago and the pizza was very good. Almost as good as going to NYC for a slice. But after revisiting twice recently things have changed. I ordered a medium 2 topping pizza well done. I picked up the pizza and brought it home. Not only was it not well done but quite the opposite! Terribly under cooked to the point that the cheese had barely melted! All this and for a med 2 topping pizza… Ready… Just shy of 18 bucks… I’ve learned my lesson!

This place is fantastic, a little hidden gem in Sturbridge, MA! We have had the Venice pizza, buffalo chicken pizza, jalapeño poppers and cannoli. Everything has been phenomenal, keep up the good work!

One of the best garlic breads i ever tasted, only to be surpassed by the delicious and generously-sized pizza. No wait time eating inside on a Sunday evening, and the staff was friendly and attentive.

I visit Napoli’s on a regular basis and am never disappointed. The food is fresh and staff friendly. I usually choose the eggplant subs or any one of their gourmet pizzas. Always a crowd pleaser. Thank you Napoli for continuously delivering quality food to Sturbridge!!!

I had gotten the eggplant, sausage, and peppers calzone. This thing was huge! My colleague ordered an individual pizza which was equally ‘ginormous’. Very friendly staff, small but wholesome dining room, I will be certain to come here again :)

Just stopped here for the first time after reading about it on Unilocal. Not much of a sitdown restaurant, just a few booths and tables. But the people are very nice and the pizza is excellent. We also had fried mozzarella, which was not the usual frozen sticks but breaded slices of actual mozzarella, made to order. Very nice. This place isn’t terribly convenient for us but we will be making another visit before too long.

An oasis — wonderful spot for lunch — easy to get to from Rt 90 — a very welcome alternative to fast food. Home made corn chowder and a perfect sized crab & shrimp salad. We will return!

We found this place via fellow Unilocalers. Address is correct, but map s/w couldn’t find it and Unilocal says too far for me to check in– but I’m right outside! This place is a bit of a hole in the wall, a few small tables, too small for us to stop and dine, no bathrooms. But, don’t let that stop you from ordering take-out! Definitely among the top pizzas ever! Grab some friends and go for the gianormous Party Pizza!

They must be doing something right to be open since 1965. Little Miss B and I popped in just after four to an empty dining room. We sat down to take a look at the menu and decided to have a medium(14″) cheese pizza. Fresh out of the oven, it was the best pizza I’ve had in a long time. With a steady client ell entering while we were eating, I can’t imagine this tiny(only about six tables) place is this empty at prime time. Bummer that they don’t deliver. They are a bit pr icy, $ 13.75 for a cheese pizza„ especially for the area, but well worth it. This was our first visit, but definitely not our last.

The pizza is fabulous here. Soft, yet crunchy crust, lightly buttered. The sauce is a little sweet and very good; the cheese just right. The eggplant, sausage and mushroom calzone is amazing, especially when dipped in the marinara sauce. It’s funny. We chose this place because we were headed through Massachusetts to New York. I looked for some pizza place near me on the iPhone Unilocal app, and this being 5 stars, we tried it, and we were not disappointed.

Believe me, all three Napoli Pizzerias are great, but this one is the best. I know the same family owns all three, but I think this one is by far the best. Every time I get anywhere near Sturbridge, I stop, even to just get a pie to take home and reheat or eat cold… and I live in NC! If I can, I freeze two or three combination pies, and put them in a cooler with dry ice for the ride home. I am not crazy about eating in the restaurant, the place is pretty small, and can be drafty in winter. BUT you cannot argue with the«large combo to go»!!!
