This store has improved a lot since my last visit just before Christmas. The food area, especially the variety of spices, extracts, grains and imported/​exotic condiments is unbelievable now. I purchased so much this time (I am an avid baker). Alas, although it was put in good order and you can now find titles (finally), the book section was disappointing, and I did not find the gigantic crossword puzzles book I was in search of (they had a plethora of OLD copies — Fall 2015 — only). The rest of the store seems to be about the same.

Don’t think I have ever left there empty handed and many times find a treasure
for an incredible price. A must visit store you will never know what you find.

I love this store. I always make a couple trips here every summer when I come to Mass to visit. I often find great deals on things that are much more expensive elsewhere. Just recently I found a great wallet for my trip to Italy for $ 3.99, they have great hair products, tooth paste, snacks, household good, and a ton of other stuff. Everything is discounted and good quality. Check it out, you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

I love OSJB, they have a lot of discounted gourmet food, cheap housewares, I even found a wet suit here for $ 30! The Sturbridge Ocean State has to be the best one by far. There’s a lot more items here than at other Ocean States I’ve been to, it feels more organized, cleaner and they even carry my favorite salad dressing for $ 2 (I can only find this stuff at a small store in Maine for almost 6 bucks!) Thank you Sturbridge Ocean State for your awesomeness! *high five*

Everything is in this store. I’m new to Massachusetts so this place is awesome! Their Pure maple syrup is usually $ 16 but goes on sale for $ 12 and on Black Friday it was $ 10! I bought all my spices for a dollar and Bobs Red Mill goes on sale for 20% off at times. Clothing can be cheaply made but you can find some great winter wear for much cheaper than Walmart.

Good deals on just about everything in the store. However, you really can’t go in there hoping to find something specific. It’s right along the lines of Building 19 or Spags, but cleaner.
I can usually just browse thru the store and find something that I have been wanting to get for awhile.

Southbridge, MA
Only open for about six weeks, I would have been disappointed if the store wasn’t as neat as it was. This location appears to be much bigger then the one in Southbridge (the only other one I have been to).
I came hopping in (still on crutches) looking for beach towels for little Ms B to take to camp. Wishing to cut down on the walking, I flagged down someone as soon as I made it in. The young man who helped me was great. We looked together in the summer section. When we couldn’t find any, he offered to walk to the domestic section in the rear of the store and bring some towels for me.
Thanks to him going over and beyond meeting my expectations, we walked out with our much needed towels.
