Clean. Upscale. Professional. As a wedding photographer I carry a lot of stress and weight with all my gear. My therapist sat with me after my massage and explained to me how I got myself in the position to be so bent out of shape so to speak. She then gave me some at home ideas so that I could continue to stay healthy when I’m not in the spa. Everyone was very kind and wanted to make sure my experience was top rate. I highly suggest this place and I will be going back soon!

Was in need of a good massage and was hoping for the best when I tried Looma Spa. I found it online and read reviews. I was not disappointed. It is located off Route 10 between the Petco and the Planet Fitness. Upon entering it was very pleasant, staff was wonderful. Barbara was my massage therapist and she was beyond everything I expected. The pricing was reasonable and they offered a membership similar to those of Massage Envy and Hand and Stone. The membership was a little pricey but if you are a regular massage client, it would be well worth the investment. Can’t wait to go back.

I went to this nail/spa place once and the mani and pedi were nice. I like how they have specials by holidays. They promote themselves as organic although they don’t use all organic products such as the nail polish remover and toxin free nail polishes. I have asked the owner twice and she just says to call back in a month or so to see if she will get it? The only organic nail place that uses actually organic and toxin free nail polish and remover is karma spa in ridgewood. I hope Looma spa does actually get organic nail products soon Becuase then I will go again as its in my neighborhood. Organic toxin free nail products are better for pregnancy, trying to conceive patients, Cancer patients, and everyone really who doesn’t want to put toxic products on their body.

The first day of school can be very stressful on parents so I booked myself a spa treatment at Looma Spa to counteract the chaos of getting kids ready for their first day. That appointment was the best decision I made all day. I started with a massage for Jennifer who was very attentive and polite. She hit all the right spots and I left feeling a million times more relaxed than before. I don’t get a lot of massages, but that one made me forget about the lunch packing, hair brushing, nail biting anxiety of the morning. I’ll definitely request her when I go back. I finished with a basic pedicure from Sylvia. She was very gentle with my feet but still had the strength to give me a fantastic foot massage. My feet look so pretty and feel so soft, I don’t even want to walk on them. Their prices are pretty much in line with whats in the area, but the ambience, cleanliness, and friendliness put them above other places I’ve visited. I plan on coming back, but I’m not waiting until next years first day of school.

When I moved to the area three years ago, I was very sad to leave behind the salon I had been going to for 10 years… I was so delighted to have found Looma Spa! Every member of the staff from the receptionists, the nail technicians, the spa personnel and the owner is accommodating and lovely. I’ve lost track of how many mani/pedis I’ve had; facials and massages over the past few years at Looma! Every experience is pleasant and a job well done! Combined with a very clean and relaxing atmosphere, this is a wonderful full service salon! I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Nice place and they do a good job. My boyfriends mother took me here because she goes here regularly. They offered us coffee or tea during our service and took our coats. Great service and very nice workers.

So the spa itself is nice and clean and Jessica did a very nice job… I’m not big on small talk and she was fine with just letting me sit and not say much. The waiting area is a bit cluttered… it is so crowded with products that the 3 seats are just awkward. One is right next to a display table and the other 2 are nestled quite close together which essentially means there’s one seat. The issue I have was with the booking and charges. So I had a gift card and booked my appointment online. When booking, the system takes a $ 25 deposit, which on it’s own is a bit odd, but my natural thought process was, «ok, it’s a deposit to hold the appointment and if you want to apply it towards your services, great, but if not, I’m sure it just gets credited back». Nope. When I went to pay after my nice mani-pedi, I asked the nice girl at the desk about the $ 25 and she said it would be a credit on my account at the spa for next time. I go maybe once or twice a year for this stuff, so that is not ideal. I told her that the website does not indicate that the deposit must be applied towards the services or be left as a credit at the spa. It actually says nothing at all about why they are charging people $ 25 to make an online reservation. She expressed regret but really had not authority to do anything. Someone else(after about 5 minutes of back and forth) eventually came over and rigged it so I’d get my money back, but that’s obviously not the way it’s meant to be done. So basically, nice place that does a good job doing what they are doing, but a shady reservation system.
