Funny… I just came across this review below… We happened to camp around the same time as Foodie B. This was during the time of the Government Shut Down of all parks. We ended up having to camp here after not being able to camp where we’d planned. The campground host worked us in to a cozy little corner of the campground. At first glance(and a closed mind) I wasn’t to sure of what we’d gotten ourselves into. But we had a semi large group meeting us, and no where else to really go. So we went with it… And I am so GLAD we did. My group thought the bathrooms were very clean. And stocked with all kinds of extras. They had two kitchens to use, and yes at times they were a mess, but I think that there were a lot of people having to «make it work» because of not being able to camp at national park campgrounds. I found the campground interesting and artsy. The whole place had little writings on the wall. We called in our«Hippy Trippy Government Shut Down Weekend!» On a side note, we did check out several of the RV’s they had to rent… and they did leave a lot to be desired for… I wouldn’t sleep in them… but when I go camping… I stay in my own tent or camper… I would go back as it was a great spot to use as a base camp…

This campground is disgusting, stay there one night, renting one of their RV. $ 60 a night! The inside is dirty, strong cigarette smell. The ashtray outside was still full. Every trash can on the site was spilling empty can of beers, food on the grounds, the kitchen sink was full of dirty dishes, trash can full, very dirty fridge full of open container rotten food! How this place can stay open. We even did not shower when we saw dirty towels and toilet paper on the floor. I give them 2 star only for the beautiful waterfall. Go there, only with your own rv equipped with kitchen and bath. They have honor jar everywhere. They should take honor to clean everyday between guests!
