Weird. Space is plenty nice. Service full of smiles. But smoothie was straight syrup.(I asked if they made it there. Should’ve asked if they use real fruit. They don’t.) Coffee limping. Lights so dim we could barely see – even after they turned them up all the way.

Great coffee! Staff is friendly and informative. My boyfriend and I come almost every weekend. Breakfast is good(typical sandwiches and bakery items) the bakery items are delish! Never had any lunch items there but the salads and everything in the case look yummy!

I moved to the metrowest area about a year ago, and have been in search of great independent coffee shops since. this was on my list to try and i wanted so much to love it. good parking, free wifi, an extensive menu(for a coffee shop)… and when you walk in. containers of whole beans. that must mean they roast their own, right? or use a local roaster? at the very least use the beans from those containers to grind and serve. but no. it’s one of the perplexing things about this place. why would a coffee shop go to so much trouble to create a nice atmosphere, prepare nice food, have nice people working, and then serve — coffee from a nespresso machine? in a paper cup? it’s called Coffee Works. i would think that coffee would be the best thing on the menu. but no. considering the price is on par with places that use fresh beans, real espresso machines and ceramic cups for the coffee experience, i have to agree with Bee C. on this place. i’m seriously bummed about it.

What kind of coffee shop that has containers of whole beans makes espresso or cappuccino from a nespresso machine? The seating area is nice, but for drinking nespresso out if a styrofoam cup it is not worth it. A lot of missed potential here.
