Suffern, NY
Gone are the days of the small Mom and Pop shops. With Loews and Home Depot, the smaller stores have come and gone. I am thankful that since 1921 Handy Hardware store has managed to elude this phenomenon. From screws paint, plumbing and electrical supplies, tools, garden, cleaning supplies and of course for winter, calcium & rock salt. In addition they have special services such as window and screen repairs, and cutting keys. A small boutique with big service that I hope stays around for years to come.
