This is the worst business owner and establishment I’ve ever encountered. I made a reservation and cancelled an hour later. And the owner charged my card anyways and told me i wasn’t getting my money back. I’m writing a letter to the Howard Johnson corporation to let them know what kind of a clown is running there hotel.

I agree with the other reviews here — this is probably one of the worst two hotels I’ve ever stayed in. I was looking for«value pricing» on Hotwire when booking(without knowing the area) and thought I wanted to try to save a couple of bucks by going with the lowest price. MISTAKE. You are better off spending $ 30 to $ 50 more a night to have a decent hotel. This place is dreary, depressing, and the attitude of the owner/managers seems to be that you, the customer, don’t deserve much more. This is strangely truck-stop-like, I agree with the previous reviewer. It’s all construction worker /truck driver guests and the lot is full of trucks that get going 6am or earlier. The grounds are a mess when you look in further detail, like no project was ever really completed. Screens that have fallen out of windows onto the ground, supplies stored in stairwells, etc. People also stand at the end of the hallways to smoke by the windows. The rooms are decent, if dirty. Honestly, they are quite dirty around the edges like no one cares to really vacuum behind the furniture. The carpet inspired me to walk around in my socks. Wifi speed OK but you have to re-sign-in every 12 hours. Breakfast don’t even bother. Sorry to be harsh, but i feel like I wasted a week of my life here.

The lobby was smokey and shabby looking. I felt like I was walking into a truck stop. The lot is full of trucks and construction supplies… kinda odd. The room was a little better, but could use a good carpet cleaning. The toilet in my room is wobbly, and overall the place is just kinda dumpy. I hate to say it, but this seems like the typical low-class hotel run by Indians. For the price I paid, I expected a lot better! WiFi is available for free, but it’s rather slow. Breakfast was disappointing as all they had were a bunch of not-so-fresh carbs(waffles, bagels, muffins, donuts, cereal), juice, and coffee that was weak and kinda bad. Might be better off walking down the street to The Bagel Boys for breakfast.

The façade of the hotel looks top notch, just wished the interior looked just as nice. Everything is pretty much outdated except the desk chair(out of place with the room décor). They still have tube tvs in the rooms and the bathroom is tiny with the shower head getting almost no water pressure. WiFi, not sure if it has or doesnt have. I couldnt find their network nor did they advertise it. The continental breakfast was ok and the staff was nice. Other than that, nothing special to expect from a $ 70/night stay

There are roaches in the rooms and were leaks in the lobby ceilings.
