Waiter a dud, barely spoke to us. My husbands burger was overly peppery. My steak did not come out medium rare, but raw. Then when it did come out it was dry and had a very strong taste of cumin. Not a great experience, not worth the money.

Was at Outback Sunday May 1st with my wife and one daughter. We had not been there in a while. The unhappy hostess asked if we wanted to sit in the bar. We asked for a booth and led us to one without saying another word. Ingrid was our waitress. Smiling and friendly. She was very nice. I ordered the porterhouse medium well, my wife got the steak quesadilla and my daughter got a 6 ounce strip steak. We had the blooming onion. I’m the only one that finished. The strip steak and quesadilla were just«ok» I used the bathroom. One stall had no lights and the other toilet was constantly running and would not flush. Ugh! We passed on desert. Ingrid the waitress was the only bright spot here. I can eat better food at a nicer restaurant for the money.

I was very disappointed by the poor quality of the prime rib which did not taste like prime rib at all. It was tough and lacked flavor which made me wonder if it really was prime rib. The waiter was great and efficient but the food is an issue. My idea of prime rib is more like a boneless rib steak which this was not! The salad was great but if you want good meat, this is not the place to go.

Never Never Again! The place was less than busy when our party of 4 adults and 2 children showed up for what would be probably our worst meal we have ever had out, not to mention the lack of service. We waited for just over an hour for 2 apps. Then when we asked what was going on with our apps the server said«I don’t know» and walked away to return 20 mins later at the 64 min mark with our apps. Then the main course comes my wife asked for Mahi Mahi and had something that came out that resembled a piece of rubber. My brother ordered the sirloin that looked like something you would buy in a can from a pet store. I mean I can go on here but I think you all catch my drift when I say look elsewhere to eat before stopping here.

Mediocre at best. Our steaks came out nearly raw, and when we asked for them to be cooked to medium, as we originally ordered the waitress became annoyed. We then waited nearly 30 minutes for them to be served to us once again, this time black and charred! We will never come here again, I suggest you do the same.

The server was nice and the appetizers were fine. The Steaks came out raw and needed to be sent back to the kitchen to be cooked properly. The Server said the manager was going to come over to the table to speak to us about our experience and he/she never did. For the amount of dollars spent this meal was fair at best.

Came here a few times and each time it was mediocre. Had the stakes and they were bland. Drinks were ok. Staff was rushed. The interior too dark.

I have been here several times and they keep improving their food and service. I had a great time the other night watching the game and having a nice dinner. I will be back.

We celebrated my 60th birthday here for dinner and it was a great time. We have been here before. The only problems were the appetizers included the Annie springs chicken quesadillas that were the most bland ones I ever had– absolutely no taste– but we also said with no mushrooms… but who has mushrooms in them in the first place. They were bland and boring and no taste. We had a bloomin onion that was good and Aussie Cheese Fries that were awesome. The food orders came and the Filet was tiny and nowhere near the one advertised and included a baked so called«dressed» potato that was naked– it too was nothing like the pictures. had almost no bacon and cheese and was blah. I ordered the largest sirloin and it was excellent tasting and cooked to perfection. but the side was another naked undressed pathetic potato and rock hard carrots and broccoli. If not for the awesome sirloin– a disaster. The others at the table had the ribs and double cheeseburger and a cheeseburger. We had drinks that maxed up a huge bill but our waitress was excellent(Christine?) and she always was prompt and kept coming back to check on us and was pleasant and great to look at. She helped make it a great night. Its just a shame that a few of the items were so bland and to see the filet that my wife got NOT even close to the one on the menu– sucked! So did the horrible potatoes that we were so looking forward to. The place is nice and clean and a good place to come and enjoy. We unfortunately had a table next to us of «old crabapples» who did not appreciate our«good times» and laughter and were too busy shooting angry scrunched up old faces at us-rather than just eating their own food. Its funny nobody else looked like that or complained– what ya cant have some laughs? The drinks were good– I had a new drink called the Castaway– awesome but dont do like me and drink it fast… I did and had to go outside and get some air. My son wanted Captn and rum and got Bacardi instead and that was a turn off but with no problem they corrected and brought the right drink. At best a 3 this time due to some lackluster appetizers and sides and the tiny unspectacular filet– very disappointing.

I loved the fact that they take call aheads which is almost like a reservation. Service was fantastic, young lady was prompt with our drinks, appetizers, entrees and cheesecakes. Kind of a dark restaurant but plenty of booths. Located in a strip mall so plenty of parking. Prime rib rare was still available on mother’s day. Overall a very good meal and great service so we will be back.

The filet mignon was nothing like it was pictured and the manager even admitted that it didn’t look like the picture on the menu. The thickness was a tenth of what the picture showed. Also the salmon meal only included one side and no salad when it should include a starch and a vegetable. Very disappointed.

I came with a group of colleagues all wanting separate checks and the waiter was fantastic and handled us all with ease. My bloomin onion was amazing and I scarfed down about 2/3rds of it in a matter of seconds. My «hearts of gold» filet of fish was a bit over cooked, and I won’t order it again. My drink was strong and the hosts were friendly! Pretty good for a chain restaurant!

Quality of food was subpar. Service was very slow and server barely paid attention. Not good at all. Try a different location if you want a meal from Outback.

This location I have been coming to for years and was happy until this last year. At this location in the last year the quality really has gone down. Now we drive a little further and go to the Paramus location where the quality is much better than this location as of recent. The last few times at this NY location we have received broccoli that was almost raw and barley cooked, burnt steaks, drinks with barely any alcohol if any in them. Just average barely trying food related service. Again this place was great up till about the last year not sure if the owner changed or what. That is why it’s gets a 3 and not a 2 because up till recently this place was great. Prior to the last year I would have given this place a 4 or 5.

I’ve been this Outback a few times and they were unsatisfactory. But went this weekend in a long while and it actually improved. Maybe it was the time we went(around 5 pm) or maybe they had a change in mgt, but the beers tasted normal(not watered down), the bread was warm, the waiter was attentive and the food was good(for Outback standards). Surprised to find a change for the better. The hostess(?) tried to seat us(as she always does) at a big ass round table(we only had three adults and two kids) and as usual we had to ask to be seated in a booth. I guess some things won’t change. Common sense is lacking these days in general, i suppose…

Gotta love those Aussie Fries! I always enjoy the food here and we had an awesome server once. I deducted one star due to the most recent waiter we had, he was definitely high.

Typical Outback. Did not find the staff to be extra friendly but more of doing what they had to. Really busy if you get there after 6 on weekends. Food was good and portions were adequate. The Outback in Monroe is much friendlier and seems more alive and less crowded. Should have gone there.

Ordered the new special with shrimp scallops steak and mango salsa. Steak was ok the shrimp salsa not bad for a chain but skimpy. The scallop well you mean 1⁄3 of a scallop, really they cut the punny scallop in thirds or forths and served the peice. REALLY!!! It tasteed pretty good. The kids steak was tough and old, yuck. My husband ordered a burger«a burger is a burger» I take it — nothing special. The best part was the chocolate martini. Wow was that good. Maybe next time ill come for that as dinner. :) Tina
