This is absolutely the worst hotel/motel/inn I’ve ever stayed in. Everything is old, worn, and just raggedy! It was barely for one day on Memorial Weekend so we dealt with it, but it was horrible. We didn’t want to touch anything. We sprayed Lysol and antibacterial everywhere and it was still dirty and uncomfortable. The shower was undeniably filthy. Looked like they haven’t cleaned it this year. The washcloths and towels looked dirty and were very rough. Every piece of metal in the room was rusted. The chairs were so old, dirty, and dingy. Just terrible. The sheets had stains on them… both beds. Bob, one of housekeepers who was nice dealing with the complaints of 3 clean women, brought us brand new sheets… but only for one bed. Better believe we all slept on that one bed. Kelly is horrible with customer service and obviously maintenance as well. This Days Inn should be renovated and re-staffed immediately! It needs some serious attention. The only good thing about this place was that there were no bed bugs. That is all!

Horrible. Never again. Days inn you are the worse hotel chain. Old food on floor, stained sheets, mold in fridge, broken AC, no refund for being in the room literally 5 minutes. Read stories online about Days Inn. I’m highly upset.

Two stories, exterior entrances. The positives of my one night stay in a king room: Comfortable bed, a/c worked well on a warm and humid night, wifi signal was strong, room was clean, quiet surroundings. The negatives: In my on line reservation(made via the official website) and using my Wyndham Rewards id, I specifically requested a 1st floor room with strong wifi signal. Property owner checked me in after 9 pm and did not honor that request, even when I brought it to his attention. Has the facility been full I would have been OK with not getting a 1st floor room, but I did notice several unrented rooms on the 1st floor. The AC was not on in the room when I arrived. Since this is the room that was pre-assigned to me, someone should have turned on the a unit before my arrival to make sure the room temperature would be comfortable. Parking lot is very narrow. Only a few diagonal parking spaces near the rooms on each side. Additional parking is at the front of the property on in the Food Lion parking lot in the back. The tv was an older analog set which required two remotes to operate — one for on/off the the other to select channels. Room fixtures were in good shape, but aged. It served the purpose for me, which was a nice one night stay while on business.

If I could review no stars I would. Walked in after a long road trip on a whim to stay just for the night. We needed a total of three rooms. It was about 5:30 pm. After giving the woman our money, we walked to our room. Now I understand days inn are not usually a 5 star place, but this was beyond disgusting! Floors were dirty, bed was not made, trash was full. They were just coming around to clean at 5:30… Umm, all I wanted was a hot shower after a six hour travel. Long story short, we got our money(all three rooms) refunded. The woman at the desk was as pleasant as a brick, and was talking about us while we were still in there saying«they are probably going somewhere else cheaper». Actually lady… We paid $ 100 more to get the $@?! Out of there!!! Will never return due to disgusting rooms and rude rude staff.!!

Do not stay here. This place really sucked. Heater didn’t work. Hot water didn’t work, asked for my money back to stay somewhere else an they would not give it back to me. Save urself some trouble an money an stay somewhere else.

When I checked out of the hotel, I discussed with a gentleman how filthy the room was, how we had roaches in our room — and 1 towel for 2 people. I called this morning to speak with the Manager(who had to go back to his employee and verify what I had to say). The manager’s employee accused me of having a party in the hotel room. We were visiting from out of town and had some friends over at 10pm for a couple of drinks. I’m not sure how when we were in bed at 11pm that it was a party. When I asked what he was going to do about the filthy room, the manager told me that he would do nothing because of what his employee was claiming! I couldn’t even get a word in as his employee was yelling in the background and the manager was just outright rude to me. I called customer service today and complained. They told me that they would take down the information I was giving them and it was the hotels right to make«it right» first. I explained to the hotel that I tried to reach out to the manager and it was clear they weren’t going to do anything for me. I continued to explain that I have never had this bad of an experience at a hotel or where the customer isn’t right. Its a shame i have to wait to see what the manager will do about this. I wish i had listened to the Unilocal reviews before booking a hotel here. If you want bugs in your bed and disgusting sheets, stay here. I will never go back to this hotel.

Just got a call from the manager. He really wanted to earn my business back. I told him that I would probably never be through that way again. He agreed that the dirty room and sheets were unacceptable. He made excuses about the economy being bad and I said that a little bleach and a clean room would go a long way. He wanted to know what he could do to make me happy. I send«refund me my $ 20 for staying in a dirty room for 90 minutes». He said that he is going to send me a check. I commend corporate Days Inn for getting this looked into. 1/3/15-bumped up one star due to response from corporate and the manager.
