I have been giving run-of-the-mill Goodwill locations three stars lately simply because I agree with the Unilocal moniker that it is just«A-OK». Her is my rant before I get started on this particular Goodwill. I believe that Goodwill has gotten smarter and many items, they know what they have and they have jacked up their prices. The prices have gone up to the point of ridiculousness. When an off brand of stained and ripped jeans are selling for $ 6.99, I think they just priced themselves out of a sale. SO, with the prices going up dramatically over the years, I don’t enjoy coming here as much in general. Second, they would take a donated ratty sheets and clothing, but when I tried to donate a no kidding antique wing back chair, they wouldn’t take it because it was stained. Interesting that the thrift store down the road took it and it looks like it sold within a week. Disappointed. Lastly, I would like to know what Goodwill actually does??? Are they employing the mentally challenged? I would like to finally see where the money they make off of all those donated items really goes. I am sure it is all legit, but they do a terrible job telling customers how they are giving back to community. Otherwise, I just see more and more Goodwill locations popping up like a Starbucks or McDonalds around here. Back to this location… clean, well-marked, and bathrooms on site. If I remember correctly, they organize by type of clothing and then by color… which makes it tough if you are looking for a particular size. The staff is friendly and overall it is a good place if you are looking for something on the off chance that they might have it.

Edited and moved up a star because their new cashier, Lisa, is absolutely wonderful! She is so friendly and helpful. Friendly staff and like that they have dressing rooms BUT wow, they are extremely overpriced. There were 5 year old items with original tags marked $ 6 and they sell for $ 5. Clothes are really pricey for used… you can buy a tank top at Walmart or a dress for ½ to a ¼ of the price. Baby clothes were ridiculous priced 3 times as much as the Salvation Army. Again friendly staff but whomever controls pricey is doing the charity 0 favors:(

Clean and well organized. And the staff is friendly enough. But I can’t bring myself to buy anything. Went looking for glass vases… the ones they have are two to six times the price of what I bought new at the dollar store. And some were chipped. The SAME vases. When some things are so incredibly overpriced, it makes me question every other price on the shelf.

Not huge, but a fairly good size. Clean with public restrooms & dressing rooms. They have colored coded weekly sales. There is one employee, will call her B. Very heavy handed with the pricing. Will argue with everything. Major know it all. Avoid her line, although she butts in on the other cashiers. Love going to the store. Great deals to be had. If you donate, take advantage of their drive up unloading area. A employee takes your items out of the trunk. It’s great! Get a punch card & a punch per load. Full 4& get a 20% discount your next purchase. Note***new employee, Lisa… a jewel. Sweet, friendly. Love her! Also… new program. Punch cards. 1 punch per purchase. Minimum of $ 15. 4 punches & receive 20% off next purchase! The only complaint I have with GW. The racks do not have size dividers. WHY??? Easy fix. Minimal costs!
