This is primarily a hookah lounge, but it serves many purposes. There’s a class every Tuesday where you can learn how to step [in the name of love]. Then a «Chicago Steppin» brunch, one Sunday a month, to show off your new moves, obviously. They also host an open mic night every Tuesday, and a teen one twice a month. On Thursday nights, there’s a DJ. And on Friday nights, there’s live entertainment. All their events are free, so it gets pretty busy(for Suffolk). Parallel park right in front, if you’re lucky. Otherwise, there’s a parking lot wayyy behind the building which is typically full, as it is shared by the residents of the apartments above. Oasis seems cool. It’s beautifully decorated. It’s an open space design with high-high ceilings. The owner is personable. Tells you everything you need to know. They will have a liquor license soon. Then they’ll have the whole package, and downtown Suffolk gets a little cooler.
