Very convenient location being next to Fitness Connection. Not spectacular, but if you’ve been to one 99 cent store, you’ve probably seen em’ all. They’re not 99 cents only as advertised, but they’re not breaking the bank either. Most things are 99 cents and they have a decent variety of merch from wine to holiday themed decorations. Cool staff, but they seem to ALWAYS have only one cashier working, so lines get long and people like myself get annoyed :) If you have a short grocery list or need a «random items» fix, stop by!

This is in the same center as Fitness Connection and next to the HEB. It all comes down to price per ounce when it comes to buying in a dollar type store. Sometimes you can get great deals, other times you are paying way more than you should. Here I noticed the spices in particular were a good buy. I also got a good deal on spray bottles, I make many of my own products so these come in handy. I was also able to pick up some portobello mushroom caps at 2 for $ 1, which was a great deal. I wouldn’t stop by here on a regular basis, since they don’t have much in the way of healthy food items, but for the occasional stop to check out the deals it makes a good stop.

Oh yeah, love this store to death!!! I am able to get what I need each time I visit them. I rather go there more often than other grocery stores these days. Who can really beat them??? $ 1 per item is super GREAT!!! Their fruits and vegetables are about the same as the ones at the other grocery stores. I also love the fact that they accept credit cards. The selection on all sort of items are amazing. I am looking forward to see them again soon.

I am used to the 99cents only in Rosenberg, but we just moved into the area and so we tried the one in Missouri CIty. Their produce section is a sad sight. Only once in a blue moon do they have produce that is fresh. I have been in there several times and only once have I found that they actually had fresh produce. Most of the time the produce is over ripe or gnats flying around. It is a clean store but its pretty cramped in the store and every time I have shopped there, there is only one cashier. PLEASE! The Rosenberg store did better than that with 3 or 4 cashiers.

This store is clean, well-stocked and have bargains galore. Definitely the place to stretch my dollars. See it. Grab it before it’s too late. It’s amazing how much money you can save here instead of buying at the competition. Of course, you have to know your prices and be sure to check closely for expiration dates. This location is ALWAYS on my list when I go grocery shopping. By the way, they are hawks when it comes to taking pictures inside the store. I wanted to take pictures for a blog post and the employees came out of nowhere to tell me that picture taking was not allowed.

Pretty clean, decent selection, pretty much like any other 99 cent store. In other words better than any other dollar store type place. One thing to keep in mind is that just because something was there last time doesn’t mean it will be there next time!

I was super excited to see that there would be a 99COS in Sugar Land. The only other ones closest to me seem to be in some seedy neighborhoods. In fact, thinking that this location hadn’t opened yet, I went to the one off Bissonnett and purchased some cookies while I was in the area. When the cashier ranged them up, I knew I did not want them, but I didn’t want to hold up the already long line, so I decided to just return them to another location near my church. Now here’s the important factor to keep in mind as I get into the conflct with this store: I didn’t use cash, but a debit card, so the money was taken out of the account immediately. However, when I passed by this location and saw that they were open, I decided to go ahead and exchange the previous purchase with some other items that I saw in the store. I had my receipt, the packages weren’t open, and I had my card. What problem could I have possibly have had? The manager said I’d have to go back to the original location to get a refund because the purchase hadn’t cleared yet. Hellooooo I used a debit card, not a check! He said I’d have to come back tomorrow and possibly the transaction would be cleared so that I could exchange the items. Now if that be the case, then NOSTORE could refund nor exchange my purchase! I told him they ought to put that on the receipt so people would know. If there was a way to give an establishment ZERO stars, I would happily do it because I left the other items I was going to purchase right at the register after that foolishness. I’ll gladly go to the hood anyday of the week to not deal with such foolishness! Not my money.. . forget it!
