I went to Amy Tailor to have a bridal belt sewn onto my wedding dress. She did SUCH a great job! It looks wonderful and her prices are super reasonable. *I did not actually get my dress altered here though so I do not have a review for that.

Alteration fees way too much for the quality of work. Felt robbed. I needed the suit so I just went ahead and did it. But will never go back to this woman Amy for alteration. If you do I hope you’ll have a better experience. Mine left a bad taste in the mouth.

This place is great! And everyone working there is very nice! I’ve been going for a few years now and everything is done on time and can be done as quickly as you need it. Good prices too! I’m positive this is the place to go to get your clothes tailored. I highly recommend it!

I love bringing my clothes here to get tailored! I’ve had nothing but great experiences. I’ve always brought my clothes to get taken in and haven’t had to say anything. I just put them on and she knows exactly what I need. Recently, I was in a wedding and needed to get my bridesmaid dress taken out. It was a dress that was purchased at Macy’s and I brought it in a week before the wedding, really stressed out. I told her what I needed, tried it on and she told me she’d take out the max she could. I picked it up 4 days before the wedding and it was a perfect fit! It looked spectacular! She saved me! She not only does a phenomenal job, she does it in such a timely manner, too! I took my friend along to get some clothes tailored and she brought a jacket that Nordstrom said they couldn’t do anything with. She was able to and it looks great! I’ll definitely be bringing more things to her.

My mother brought 2 pairs of older pants that had torn apart at the seams. She really liked to wear them around the house so instead of buying new pants she thought she would have them repaired at this tailor. BIG mistake. 3 months later she had not started on them. When my mother went back to check on them she said«well you said to take your time on pants.» My mom said yes take your time maybe 2 or 3 weeks– not 3 months. Then she said well I don’t have the right fabric to repair these pants and wanted to send her to Jo-Ann’s fabric shop to buy the fabric and bring it to her. Mind you this is after she has had the pants for 3 months. She also stated she needed payment in full before she could work on the pants, my mom said you didn’t say that when I dropped them off & being a return customer it’s never been a problem for her to pay when she picked up the items. My mom said she didn’t have cash on her– then the owner says«okay you go to bank and come back to pay.» My mom took the pants to another tailor. The owner of this place acts like she has a net worth of 500 million dollars-not a small business owner who depends on the public to pay her bills.

I have had several pairs of slacks hemmed here, and one dress altered. Although service can be a bit abrupt, up until now i have continued patronizing this shop because the location is convenient. Last week i had some new slacks hemmed. Well, shame on me for not checking them before I left the shop. Several days later I got them out to wear, and the front of one leg is cut in several places. It looks like it might have been nicked with pinking shears. The slacks are ruined. I will not return to this shop.
