I got a scoop of ice cream that was so incredibly tiny that at first I thought the server was putting me on. I’ve cooked small muffins that are larger than that puny cup was. It reminded me of the tiny cups that my dentist hands me to rinse my mouth out with. Couldn’t find any product that they sell that doesn’t have corn syrup in it.

A store dedicated to selling Ben and Jerry’s ice cream? Yes please!!! This Ben and jerry’s is conveniently located in the town center so they do get a bit of traffic, so don’t be surprised if there’s a line, but don’t worry because it goes by really quickly. They have so many different flavors to try! My favorites are the seasonal or the special ones like the SNL ones. I love the jimmy Fallon flavor and I think they have a Seth Meyers one that’s really good too. I always get their triple chocolate as well because it’s so rich and sooo good, but what I really like is that it isn’t too sickly sweet either. There’s still that bitterness. There’s also a really yummy raspberry and cheesecake flavor and a mango that I really enjoy as well. The place is a little small so there isn’t much seating, but since your right next to the town square, you can take your ice cream outside and enjoy the live music that they sometimes have on the weekend if the weather permits. Their prices are pretty decent. Normally a small cup(2 scoops) is enough to satisfy an ice cream craving and will only cost you around $ 5. Great place for ice cream, tons of flavors to try, so worth it!

Rude employee. From the prior reviews, rude employees seems to be tolerated by this business owner. Walked into the store in flip flops, everyone was wearing flip flops. My 5 year old daughter just happened to hit her foot, and her shoe was cutting her heel. I took of her shoe and she immediately shouted at us and told us it’s a health code violation and that we had to leave. Pretty much everyone turned and looked at us. I get it. It’s a health code violation, no shirt, no shoes, no service… But common sense has to prevail. I know the letter of the law… but how is it different that someone sitting in the store and letting their shoes or flip flops stay on the floor, which many people do. Could have been nicer about it as well. Employees chew gum, which is gross if you serve food. Kicked my daughter and I out, but let some teens stay and twerk and take selfies in the store.

Pricey but worth it ice cream. Nothing better than a Cherry Garcia on a hot summer day. Of course it is cheaper to buy a pint at your local grocery. But when you are window shopping in Town Square under the hot sun, this store is the oasis in the desert.

yes sometimes parking is a bear and yes it’s expensive for the cream– but even in their left minded craziness there is a golden nugget of ice cream wonderfulness that come from that Jerry Ben guy… now some staff is stuck up like serving ice cream there is like having a doctorate in metaphysics and they are solving all your personal ills with their amazing scooping prowess… that being said there are several that are very courteous– so spin the wheel and get your sugar high on(and the greek yogurt Peanut Butter Banana is the BOMB!)

The attitude of the people employed here can be off-putting. I’ve never seen anyone here smile, no matter what time of the day or how much tip you leave. Also, a lady that works there scoffed at us when we asked if they had any National Ice Cream Day specials. «Ugh, we do NOT celebrate that. We have our own cone day. Today is just another day for us.» Calm down lady, we asked an honest question, do not be so offended. Neither Ben nor Jerry give a damn, so just relax.

The ice cream tastes great and there are so many delicious flavors. Stop by over the weekend and you’ll likely see an event take place at Sugarland Town Square. Perfect for families and dates.

Terrible service. Stay away. The man behind the counter was very unfriendly and acted like he didn’t want us in the store.

Had a free small scoop for my birthday and ordered same. When I presented voucher, I was told that I had a double scoop. I said that wasn’t what I ordered and instead of admitting their mistake, they took the ice cream back and handed me back a single scoop. You can guess where that other scoop went. I informed the manager and was told«I didn’t see it». What do I have to gain by reporting this, my ice cream was already free ! Maybe if Ben or Jerry was there, they would have taken the appropriate action.

The service here is rude! Not worth the ice cream. My friends literally walked in and 5 seconds later than man kicked us out for blocking the door. We were just about to order icecream. Way to lose buisness! Never getting icecream here again.

I’m very disappointed in this location. I walked up at 8:07pm and all lights were off. it was closed. No sign on the door indicating they were closing early, just closed. I don’t crave ice cream from them often but when I do I expect them to honor normal business hours.

This place is a little pricey for ice cream, but keep in mind it is wonderful and delicious Ben and Jerry’s ice cream! The man working the counter was friendly and offered samples and suggestions. The portions were huge! I couldn’t finish my small(a few scoop pictures in the photos section do not do the serving size justice, I got at least twice as much!!)

Used to go to one in Chicago years ago. Still as good as I remembered. Got a brownie special sundae with coffee coffee buzz buzz buzz and coconut seven layer bar ice cream, hot fudge and chocolate sprinkles, damn good stuff. My nephew got a single scoop of strawberry cheesecake, rookie.

Thirty-six flavors to choose from and I wish I could have chosen them all. Well, most of them anyway. Even my voracious sweet teeth cannot handle THAT much sugary frozen goodness! Ben and Jerry’s is a cute, cozy ice cream shop with this particular location making its home in Sugar Land Town Square. While small in interior size it’s big on friendly service and top quality product. Ben and Jerry’s puts only the best in their ice cream and uses many ingredients that are supplied by and help charities. This little bit of giving back always makes anything that much nicer. The ice cream itself is rich, creamy and sweetly perfect. It’s a great way to ease the heat on those nasty hot and humid days. Flavors I’ve tried include New York chocolate chunk, spumoni, sweet cream, the fudge brownie one and strawberry. I have been pleased with all of them. The true flavors burst through in each bite. There’s no ice milk artificial taste left in your mouth here. These guys know how to make some ice cream. You can get a mix-in with your ice cream if you prefer or you can have a scoop of different flavors in one cup/cone. Other offerings here are milk shakes, malts, hot fudge sundaes, hot caramel sundaes and ice cream cakes. The hot caramel sundae is divine deliciousness. Hot, sweet browned sugary richness with that ooey gooey sweetness melting over the ice cream is just too sensational. It goes perfect over sweet cream or vanilla bean. I highly recommend it! The employees are very friendly and happy to serve you. I’ve never felt rushed to make a decision and I’ve been graciously offered samples of whatever I may want to try. Cookies and brownies are also sold here if you have room leftover or if you just feel like getting something to go with your dairy purchase. I truly enjoy this little place and I think almost anyone would. It’s a sweet dairy lover’s dream. Forget calories because everyone needs calcium. Think of it that way and you’ll feel like you’re doing something good(and slightly healthy) for yourself. I look forward to trying more of their flavors and other goodies.

I’d been curious about the Schweddy Balls flavor but never found it in grocery stores… but this location has it! It was delicious. Schweddy Balls is supposed to be rum-flavored vanilla ice cream with malt balls and rum balls… but the rum flavor is virtually nonexistent — I didn’t really taste any rum. Fine by me. This location has a few small tables inside, but you can also enjoy your ice cream outside at one of the tables or benches in the square. Try the Schweddy Balls, you might find you like it!

I came here with a Groupon. I got a Smoothie that was great on such a Hot Day. My niece had a Cone with Coffee ice cream. It must have been a slow day in Sugar land because no one was in the store or even around City hall. The place was pretty clean and had a big selection of ice cream. I’d go back. Even though it is super expensive.

I don’t know what’s more annoying… the too cool hipster kid scooping my ice cream or that the $ 10 Groupon that we used wasn’t enough for 2 waffle cones. Actually, it’s not annoying. It’s more ridiculous and insane. I’ll make this review short. The staff was not too friendly, a can soda is $ 1.25, and the waffle cones were stale. There are tons of flavors that will satisfy your sweet tooth. I had the Phish Food and thought the flavors were pretty decent. It was a blend of chocolate and marshmallow. I think the Phish Food in the pint taste a lot better than the scoop. Maybe it’s the freshness? The Austin location was a lot friendlier than this one, so I just thought I would get the same kind of service. I would rather walk over to Jamba Juice to get something a bit healthier. FYI, they serve shakes, ice cream cakes, smoothies, and coffee like frappes. They are probably loaded with 2 days worth of sugar, but if it’s cold and it’s summertime, it’ll do!

Deliciously rich ending to a lovely evening! Located in Sugar Land Town Square, Ben & Jerry’s is a small ice cream and yogurt dessert shop. There is indoor and outdoor seating. In the fall and spring, this is a perfect place to get a scoop or two or three and then stroll around Town Square. Located next to the Vineyard on the Square, it looks out onto the large square and fountains. There are many different places to park(the garages, the main street, city hall). While eating your ice cream, you can stroll around Town square and enjoy the fountains, people watching, etc… The ice cream is delicious! I had never been to an actual Ben & Jerry’s store, and they were nice enough to let me taste like 6 different flavors. I ended up with a waffle bowl and two flavors of chocolate ice cream. My husband got a chocolate dipped cone with chunky monkey on it. Both were delicious! There are multiple different sizes and cones to choose from, so something for everyone! I also really liked that the tables were all clean and not sticky!
