SWAPPEDMYPHONEFOR A CHEAPERMODELANDDENIEDIT. I bought their groupon to fix my iPhone 664gb screen and they swapped my iPhone for a 16gb model. They told me it will be 30 min to fix the phone but I was back within the hour. They gave me my phone back but I noticed It didn’t have the same scratches on the back as my old one. They also tried to cover their tracks by resetting the phone they handed me. After I noticed it wasn’t the same phone and I was still in the store I told them I will call the police and report my phone stolen. They kept denying it and after no cops showed up I logged into find my iPhone and found out that my original iPhone was still on and inside the store. I rang the alarm on it and even customers inside heard the ring. Then some old dude walks out the back and tries to apologize for mixing up the phones. I spent 3 hours arguing with these scammers trying to get my phone back. Will report to BBB. STAYAWAY

Teenagers. They are the anti-Christ when it comes to phone screens. My daughter managed to crack hers on her iphone 5c so when I saw a Groupon deal for this place to fix screens, I hopped on it. We took it in yesterday and walked right in and were greeted. After they accessed the phone, they said more needed to be done that the Groupon covered(not sure I buy that but whatever) and I agreed for them to do the repair. It was done in about 30 minutes and I got a discount on an upgraded screen protector which they installed. Now if she breaks it — she will just have to study how to smoke signal her friends! I would definitely take another phone into them if I had an issue or to buy cases or other accessories.

I regret doing business with this place. Drove way out of my way for a deal with someone claiming to be a person on a local sales forum; turns out it’s a business place. As soon as I got there, he proceeded to cut my current SIM card and install it in the phone I was supposed to be ‘checking out.’ I had no other choice than to purchase then! I was sold an ‘unlocked’ iPhone which turned out not to be unlocked(didn’t figure this out until after we brought it home). I was supposed to be getting a 32gb, and if I hadn’t bought it up upon inspection, he would have easily sold me a 16gb without a word. No box, and aftermarket Apple imitation charger, not genuine. He tried to pass it off with ‘oh, it’s the same!’(Um, NO, it isn’t.) Went with it just because I have an iPad charger I could use in the meantime. At the time of payment, he added up bogus charges he couldn’t even detail or explain, and I ended up paying about $ 40 over what we’d agreed. I felt so robbed, so screwed over, and so stupid. Please, PLEASE do yourself a favor, and skip this place. No matter how good the deal sounds, you’ll end up regretting it; it will NOT turn out to be a good deal.

DONOTWASTEYOURTIME!!! THISPLACEIS A SCAM!!! Big scam!!! Unprofessional, rude, and liar. Never trust Indian cell spa store selling phone. Posted online with new(never used) iPhone 4s $ 150 and negotiated with $ 130. I came to the store, waited for 10 min and they came out gave me the crappy shit. Phone all scratched both front and back and explained the condition is «like new». How the heck is that call like new. Wasting my time and gas. Never go to this place again. Totally a SCAM!!!

I read about 25 negative reviews for these folks, and the summary of those negative reviews was that something else would typically break on the phone after the customer leaves with it, or that parts would be swapped out for cheaper ones. An example of this would be a glass screen fix, and then the touchscreen does not work flawlessly when the customer receives receives the phone back. Personally I don’t give much credit to these reviews considering how I decided to handle this experience. Let me elaborate… I have done business in the past with another Cell Spa on Highway 6, and all the accessories I every bought from them were Authentic Genuine Apple OEM chargers and headphones. They have the cheap head phones and chargers, but they also have Authentic ones if you ask for them. Go educate yourself and understand the differences between them so you can spot real ones from fake ones if you happen to get handed a cheap one by accident. This does happen from time to time when the Employees in the store are rushed. This same thing happened to me, and when I identified I had the wrong OEM components they apologized and gave me the Authentic ones. The new Cell Spa Store I tried out this time is located next to Jack in the Box, and is a lot closer to University and Highway 6. I really appreciated that. I called them and asked how much it would cost to repair my wife’s cell phone because the charger said«Accessory Not Supported» when I plugged in any charger — authentic or not. After the phone battery died there was no hope of getting it to hold a charge. I called Cell Spa, and they quoted me $ 65 over the phone. They also held to this quote. I did not have a bad experience like other reviews I read which said the people got their phone fixed and then charged another fee for something else that broke after they took the phone home. They told me 20 minutes originally to fix the issue but it turned into about an hour. I was not unhappy with that because they took more time to troubleshoot the issue. When they gave me my phone back I said before I pay you I would like to make sure the phone charges, and they were ok with that. After I turned it on I noticed the Home button would not work. They took it back and said they needed to order another part to fix it. This situation could have turned terrible if I got home first and then realized the Home button was not working. I would expect the Cell Spa to charge me an additional charge because how are they going to know I did not break it. After I found the issue in the store they told me to come back the following day and they would fix it free of charge. They also gave me a 25% discount on $ 65 so I only paid $ 45 to get the charging issue and Home button fixed. One of the guys also threw in a new screen protector, and I definitely needed it. After they said to come back the next day the Employee and Technician apologized about the Home button and said things like this can happen when changing the charging port and battery. Here are the things to do to make your experience worth while, and still get an awesome deal to get your phone fixed. 1. Ask to meet the person in the back who is fixing your phone? I would want to know who is working on it just in case I can request that same person next time to fix the issue if they are good. 2. Don’t expect to be out in 20 minutes. If you are going to pay a cheap price to get your phone fixed then be flexible up to an hour or hour and half for troubleshooting. 3. Before you leave the store test out your phone and make sure it is working perfectly that way you don’t have heart burn when you get home and realize something else is broken. 4. Make sure the technician knows of issues with your phone before they work on it and show them these are the issues so you can feel comfortable their workmanship did not bust anything else on your phone. If the technician busted something else by accident at least then you would be able to identify this and say it was not part of the original issues you shared. 5. Understand how to tell if parts have been switched out on your phone if this is a concern of yours. Check the IMEI on the back of the phone, and then check it in the General — About settings on your Iphone. Be smart and educate yourself about your phone if you think something shady is going on. I checked my IMEI just because some of the other negative reviews said to look out for this. Nothing was switched out on my phone, and all the parts matched. I think switching parts out is very dishonest and NOT something Cell Spa would do. They are also very polite, and kind people. I appreciate the good customer service, and I hope more people read this review and understand how to have a good experience. A++ for you guys. Thanks, Robert

This place doesn’t even have a website. Not only that, when calling about their products I was told to «google» my question. How unprofessional can you get?!
