Special shout-out to my doc Robert Davis. I’m gonna miss this place as my insurance carrier is changing next year. I consulted Dr. Davis for a second opinion 4 years ago when my other gastroenterologist wanted to remove my gallbladder without any logical explanation. I appreciate Dr. Davis’ knowledge and expertise with my condition. He asked a lot of related questions. Finally, he gave me his honest opinion — safe to remove it. Many people not familiar with my dietary restrictions wondering why I turned down many party invitations. Without a gallbladder, attending meat-only Unilocal events became meaningless for me. It’s literally throwing money in the toilet, with a lot of pain, mentally and physically. My most recent visit was about a severe digestive disorder. I went to my primary doctor and I got some weird treatments and experiments. But no one could explain it. I thought, never mind and I requested to see Dr. Davis. The nurses were so considerate. They asked about my insurance carrier and chose a lab that wouldn’t incur a charge. After he analyzed from the lab results, he recommended some options in self-treatment. The condition eventually went away by itself. The Gastroenterology Consultants’ office is located at Imperial Medical Center, right at the intersection of Highway 6 and Imperial Way. There is plenty of free parking. The facility also has public restroom and a pharmacy.
