I have been getting my nails done since I was twelve and this is the WORST!!! Manicure I’ve ever received. The paint job was so sloppy, my four year old niece could have done a better job. What a waste of money!

I was desperate for a pedicure after work so I came upon this salon just because it was very close to my job(walking distance) from me. It was great, but if I wanted a quick in and out treatment I don’t need paraffin and exfoliation scrub. $ 26 but I believe they need better options, it’s too expensive for basic pedicure and too much including all that extra stuff. The lady also didn’t talk to me at all and I felt like she didn’t want to even work that day, the massage was terrible.

I have been to more than a few nail salons in Sugar Land. Some have been so beautiful, but then I walk out feeling disappointed that either A. I spent too much, B. the quality of my mani or pedi wasn’t up to par, or C. the experience just didn’t cut it. Well for me, P&L Nail Salon was a game changer. I first visited five months ago, two days before Thanksgiving, on a whim. I had been running around town in a frenzy trying to finish up last minute errands, and I needed a few items from Kroger. Without even checking Unilocal,(I know, I just cringed a little too. In this case I’m glad I didn’t, because the reviews DONOT match the quality of work done here.) I saw the salon and thought to myself, «you need a mani. It’s a few days until your anniversary, and you won’t have the time to come back.» So I did it. I walked in, and already my eyes were happy. The salon itself was pretty, with the chandeliers, different wooden stations, the pretty upholstery on the chairs, and the selection of colors to choose from. I was immediately greeted by someone who asked what service I needed. She left, and then Amy greeted me. I decided I wanted a Shellac manicure since they last longer. I sat down, and before I knew it, voila, I had a beautiful manicure at a great price, $ 23. She’s now my go to manicurist when I visit. I visited again several times, and the quality always remained the same. I also love that they aren’t pushy. They ask if you would like to have additional services, and after a polite no thanks that’s the end of it. Here’s a list of a few other things that I love: 1. Pedicures: $ 26 Spa Pedicure includes: trimming of the cuticles, cutting of the toe nails, softening the soles with the foot rasp/file, leg exfoliation with scrub, hot stone massage, AND paraffin wax treatment… talk about bang for your buck! Ask for Linh, she’s great! 2. Their pedicure basins get fully covered with a disposable cover. 3. The pedicure tools come in sealed packets. 4. They always take their time, even if it’s after closing. 5. I always get taken care of promptly. No matter how busy, I never had to wait, especially when I had an appointment. All in all, I’d say this is the best salon in Sugar Land for their great customer service, beautiful salon, and most importantly awesome mani/pedis for a great price.

So we had appointments for four of us been here about two hours none of us are done. They only started on two so far. One of their regulars came in(a total witch by the way, huffing and puffing because she waited a minute while the girl got all her stuff together) so they ditched us horrible service, spend your money somewhere else

HORRIBLE!!! I arrived and looked at the price list. I asked how much for a take off showing the young girl receptionist my nails. She said $ 5. A manicure is $ 12. I ordered both services. The lady who took off my nails was rough, left a cut on my cuticle, and didn’t do the arm massage that was supposed to go with the manicure. When I went to pay for the services she said $ 22. I said how did she arrive at that price? You told me the take off was $ 5. She said she didn’t know. I also told her the tech didn’t even do the included arm massage. Of course no one knew anything at that point. Paid and left. Never will go there again!!!

Loved the technicians, they did a perfect job, but the wait each time became intolerable. If I have a 5:00 pm appointment, I think it is unreasonable to start me at 5:50 pm. Or 5:40 pm. Or even 5:30 pm. If they would have«fixed» this for me, I would have never left. I guess I didn’t feel important enough as a 3-year customer and decided to go elsewhere.

Got the Gel nails — lasted maximum exactly 1 week. AND this includes getting some nails redone from chips and flaking off polish mid week. When I went, they were kind of rude and put off that the gel polish didn’t last — they were so easy to peel off as well! Wanted to love the place, but unfortunately not.

I have been going to P&L for the past 9 years and it is by far the best nail salon around — and I’ve tried a lot!!! They offer the works as standard with all pedicures including scrubs, hot stone massage, lotion massage, and hot wax which other places charge more for. They are all very friendly and the place looks great after their recent remodel. I’ve brought friends here from Houston and they all agree. Also, this is not in an HEB like one reviewer mentioned. It’s in a strip center by Kroger.

I’m not one to write reviews, nor am I one to complain, but I would never recommend P&L Nails to ANYONE. I hate to write bad reviews about businesses, but this definitely deserves one. I made my appointment for shellac and a pedi for 5:15-they started on my pedi at 5:10, and 5:30 rolls around, and my pedi lady acknowledges that I need my shellac done, and tells me someone is about to start on me. 5:45 comes around and I ask my pedi lady when they will start my shellac, and she asks someone. Later at 5:55 I have 4 ladies standing around me discussing who is doing me(yes, there were four ladies doing nothing, and still no one had started on me). They FINALLY start on me at 6:05, and at the point it was so late, so I told her to just take off my shellac, and not to do a mani, just paint over a new color. So basically. she took my shellac off, and put a new color on-so that took her 45 minutes! At no point did anyone apologize. I still have my old red color on my nails that she didn’t even take off right(and now I have a light pink), and i ended up paying 25 for just re doing my shellac, but no cuticle cutting, no lotion, no massage-That’s absolutely ridiculous. I normally go to Sweetwater Nails or Sweet Escape, who are both way better, have a bigger selection in colors, and for shellac they charge 30 for everything(massage, lotion, oil, cut cuticles, and put wax on after), and lastly they have much better customer service, and they apologize if they start on you 50 minutes late! Basically what I’m saying is-DO NOT go there.

Tuck your money back in your wallet and use it on groceries, as this is inside HEB. I’m not sure what wax treatments another poster is speaking of but I didn’t experience that when I got a pedicure. The woman up front was extremely friendly. The woman serving me, was not. She took a chunk of skin out of my big toe and looked totally offended when I Unilocaled(no pun intended). I was bleeding. :(It was very noticeable that even my boyfriend could see it from afar. You know what else he could see? The paint job that looked like a toddler did it, blindfolded. For the first time. My red polish was smeared around every toe. I had to do major touch up when I got home. She also didn’t paint to the edge. Nothing impressed me here. I know, I know… High class problems. I’ll just keep looking.
