Spicy China

We ordered this for delivery. and they got the order wrong. When I called to see if we could get it fixed, I was told that I «didn’t order that.» There was no interest in fixing the situation, so I gave up and went to eat the meal. The «Kung Pao Delight» claims to be «prawn, chicken and beef sauteed with baby corn, broccoli and carrot in our gourment hot sauce.» There was a pathetic amount of meat and none of the advertised veggies. I did find a LOT of celery, bamboo shoots and onion and inexplicably, jalapenos. The dish was incredibly overpriced for what it was, and wasn’t great anyway. I’ll never order from here again.

I’m so sad, we’ll not be back — as good as the curry is, our experience on Thursday night was completely inexcusable!
One of our meals was clearly microwaved, it was tough and chewy (so chewy, in fact, that it was impossible to chew and pieces of it sprung off the plate!!), we called them and they offered us credit for our next meal — eh, no, I’d like dinner please!
They ‘cooked’ a replacement order which hubby had to go and pick up, and they gave it to him (WITH NO RICE). When he got home, the replacement turned out to be just as bad, microwaved, over-​cooked, and disgusting.
Really poor show Spicy China — so freakin’ disappointing!

Never Again ! I had a bad feeling when placing the order, but thought I would give them a try anyway. What was on the menu as a dinner/​combo specials was not allowed to be ordered as a dinner combo. When I went to pick up the order and pulled out my credit card to pay they wanted me to pay in cash and were not happy about taking the credit card. The food — Beef and Broccoli tasted like corn starch. Chicken and Cashew was also loaded with corn starch and the cashews tasted like they were burnt. The house special fried rice smelled like bad seafood and that was from the one shrimp that was in it. The kids meal was a joke «jumbo fried shrimp» was all breading and the fries were barely cooked. Even the White rice was terrible, overcooked and starchy. You would think white rice should be cooked properly at a Chinese restaurant. Need I say more.

We tried it for the first time last night. Ordered 3 dinners which include soup and eggroll. They arrived with no soup or eggroll. When we called, they argued that that wasn’t what we ordered. But we did. We were charged for the dinners. They didn’t give us an itemized receipt but the total was the exact amount of the dinners. The lady we called said the chef would have to call us back, so we started eating. The Mu Shu was terrible. PLUS, it came with Corn Tortillas and not the pancakes. What the heck? The Lo Mien was tasteless. The cashew chicken was burned. We finally got a call back 45 minutes later and we explained what happened. We told them to forget it, that we were done and there was no point doing anything about it. Another 45 minutes later, a knock at the door. The driver came with soup and eggrolls. This was 1.5 hours later. We were in bed. I took the food and inspected it. The Won Ton Soup broth was dark brown!
I suggest somewhere else unless you like arguing about what you ordered, getting burned and bland food, or having them come back 2 hours later to try to fix the problem after you said forget about it.
