Never got my hair done by the stylist because she canceled last minute. She requires a deposit to hold appointments which i paid. When she canceled she promised to rerun me my despot but did not fully refund my money. Very unreasonable and untrustworthy. I wouldn’t recommend anyone who does business this way.

Ahhhh mazing! I saw Dejuan on fox 5 took me a little while to find her but, I am so happy I did. I got a full sew in weave which I did not think was possible because of my alopecia. I love my hair she did a fabulous job and so friendly and personable. Can’t wait till my next visit!

I’ve gotten my hair styled on 3 different occasions at «Essentials Soul-​on» with Dejuan and she is great! I’ve been wearing hair hair extensions/​hair methods for a few years now & no one even comes close to Dejuan in terms of install, style, blending and an overall good experience. I recently got an partial hair weave install where she left a bit of my hair out & she blended the hair extensions with my hair perfectly. Out of the 3 hair stylist I’ve had in my life; I must say Dejuan is the best! I really wanted to cry when I saw myself in the mirror. Usually with other stylist I have to go home & manipulate my hair further to make it blend but with Dejuan it was perfect after she installed my hair. I’d also recommend purchasing «Virgin Hair (unprocessed)» from her! She has different hair patterns such as curly, straight and wavy! For years I was buying high end store bought aka BSS Remy hair that I could only use for 1 install but with the hair Dejuan sales; you can use it over again! I was so shocked at how full my hair was because compared to beauty store hair, this hair was 2 bundles (more than enough), whereas I was buying 3 packs of hair out the store. This hair is full, natural shiny & bouncy; But Remi BBS hair tends to be drier, hair missing off the weft & choppy *(they still process the hair in the beauty stores). I was also impressed that Dejuan was able to color my hair with highlights on the spot in her shop. She did my hair in about 2 hours! I got my hair upbraided, washed, re-​braided and hair installed & remember she also colored the hair extensions, cut & styled the hair. Never in my life have I’ve ever had anyone do my hair so fast! She’s fast but your hair also looks great when she is done! I’ll be a long time customer for sure! I also love how nice & caring Dejuan is. She offers many wonderful hair services to Veteran & Cancer patients, knows about hair care & how to make hair healthy as well. She also takes the time out to tell you which correct products to use on your hair & how to keep it healthy. Her salon also offers many other wonderful services. Check her out; you’ll be happy.

I bought some virgin hair from her over 2 years ago and it still looks wonderful! I’m all about that 30 minute sew-​in! She is wonderful and she does an amazing job I definitely recommend her for any and all of your hair or nails!!!

I have been getting Dejuan to weave my hair for now over a year and a half. I met her as she was driving her van in the city. I pulled her over to get more information and the rest is history. I do not trust anyone else with my hair and I can remember the first week of having it done, I received so many compliments. Looking forward to my appointment tomorrow… I trust no one else with my hair and especially since I will be going to my «40^th» high school class reunion. I know she is going to have me looking sharp!

I was extremely satisfied with my hair when she was done. Although it’s a bit pricey you definately get what you pay for. I highly recommend her, you won’t be disappointed.

Dejuan did my hair and she did a wonderful job. I would definitely recommend her to friends and co-​workers. I have been to a lot of upscale salons in the area that didn’t live up to the hype. But Essentials Soulon really did impress me and I will definitely return in the future. Go get your weaves done by Dejuan! No complaints on my part.
