So many people make the mistake of visiting Bar Harbor or Mount Desert Island without taking a drive along the Schoodic National Scenic Byway. It’s worth the trip to take a drive through these sleepy little coastal town and see Schoodic Point, the quiet part of Acadia National Park. When the other part is full of tour buses and just crawling with people, you can unwind a bit here. Park, get out and walk around a bit to appreciate all of the unspoiled beauty of the area.
