Not like real boston italian pastry but for this area good… very pricey… worth. going on occasion but no special trip for me.

Love this place! Muffins are to die for. My daughter loves to come in and drool over all the lovely pastries in the cases. She also loves to place chess or checkers when here. The coffee drinks are very good. The owner is very nice, and we had a nice chat with him one Saturday morning. I only wish they were open on Sunday.

When that sweet tooth kicks in & you need a sweet treat… or two… or three, Godino’s Bakery is a fantastic place to get what you are needin’. This little bakery is locally owned & operated & has a great selection of whole cakes, cake by the slice, pies, cookies, cupcakes & a whole bunch of other great items. They recently added french macarons to their cast of sweet characters. A cool thing about Godino’s is that they use as much local product in their operation as they can, even the coffee they serve is locally roasted by BeansBoro Roasting Company and their gelato is made from organic whole milk & cream from Homeland Creamery.
Everything I’ve had from Godino’s has been outstanding. I recently tried the Raspberry Cream Cake which we picked up for a family members birthday & it was really good. The cake was very light & moist, the icing wasn’t too ridiculously sweet & the layers of raspberry filling between the cake layers just made it a really nice cake, I would definitely get that again. Carrot cake is a favorite of mine, both their carrot cake & carrot cake cupcakes are outstanding. Their iced sugar cookies are always a hit with the young tikes also.
Godino’s is located in the end unit of a row of shops right next to the Southern States store at the intersection of Hwy 150 & Lake Brandt Rd. They have places to sit inside to have your cake & coffee, you can even kick back on a couch with a cupcake if you want, they also have a few tables right out front of the store on the sidewalk. Really nice folks here making some really nice products.

I noticed this place on my way to work. So after reading some other reviews I decided to give it a try on my way home. I have driven past this place many times and never noticed it.
This review is based strictly on the red velvet cupcake cake. For me personally, the red velvet cupcake was a let down. Like other cupcake shops this red velvet cupcake is a little on the smaller side. The actual cake to me was flavorless but the cream cheese frosting was delicious. The cupcake alone would not make me return; however, all of the other dessert options such as truffles, gelato and pastries might entice me to return.

Get the quiche. Get the bear claws. Oh heck, get anything! Just please support an excellent award-​winning baker who took a chance on an out of the way location. He is really good and you will not regret it.

By far, the best cakes in the Greensboro area! I like to come in for a latte and a chocolate croissant or a black & white cookie. We’ve been to two parties recently that served Godino’s cakes and both were amazing. One was an Oreo chocolate cake (the filling tasted exactly like Oreo crème!) and the other was a white cake with fresh strawberries and whipped cream frosting. I’m definitely going to order a cake for my next event from here!

There is nothing like a local business and Godinos is a treat! I stopped in with my kids today and we wound up spending an hour there talking with Paul and enjoying his freshly made cake and espresso. I love the fact that he also uses eggs, fruit and milk from local farmers! Go see Paul, the atmosphere is comfortable and cake is worth the calories!

Coming from NJ it’s hard to find good pastries and other deserts that are not frozen or come from a box. Godino’s Bakery makes everything fresh and right there in the store. The owners Paul and Mary-​Anne are just top notch people and go above and beyond to make their customers happy. My family and I go to Godino’s at least once per week. Paul makes the best Gelato and Sorbetto I have ever tasted. So all my Italian friends in NJ that give me a hard time about not getting good food down in NC, I challenge you to come here and find something you don’t like at Godino’s.

Super! Great variety of goodies and coffee. Nice place to take a break or take out. Cakes are beautiful! Prices are fair and service is wonderful!
