This store now has a new owner! It has totally been made over with a fresh new vibe. I recommend checking it out! The staff is beyond helpful and nice! Such a great hidden gem in Summerland!

This great little boutique has some amazing pieces. The owner and staff are welcoming and always willing to help you find a great gift or something for yourself. I can see some people seeing it being out of their price range, but the pots and other imported, hard to find items are very unique and the quality is top shelf. I also like the outdoor area where if you’re creative, you can pick from their assortment of inexpensive succulents and build your own assortment. I think first time visitors are a little surprised such a high end boutique is in Summerland. If Botanic was is Montecito, nobody would complain about pricing.

Overpriced to the point of insulting my intelligence as a consumer. A succulent arrangement I could have made myself was $ 1,050…throw pillows were $ 200…small wooden trunks were over $ 600…it’s insanity. And there is no justification for these prices… no interesting histories for the items, no special material used, etc.

Great selection of gifts and little pick me ups for the house. I love the way this shop looks and feels. The service is very friendly and helpful. I’ve bought a lot of little last minute gifts here and they do a great job of wrapping them up nicely or making a presentable display out of a basic plant or succulent. Personally, I don’t find them overpriced. If I wanted to go to Carp to buy orchids at a wholesaler, I would. But that is hardly the point of a shop like Botanik. I’ve also bought stuff at a higher price point here(a few pillows and a side table) and been happy with my purchases. I haven’t seen my selections all over town in other shops nor have I had any qualms about the quality.

Cute shop but won’t return. I don’t understand shop owners who don’t say Hello to customers. Makes you’re entire shopping experience awkward and uncomfortable. Guess she doesn’t know not to judge a book by its cover!

Botanik is a requisite stop anytime I ply the 101 to Santa Barbara or beyond. The charming old home’s rooms are replete with well curated goods but the outside garden area is my favorite. The freeway bustles by on the other side of the wall but inside it’s a veritable Secret Garden of unique pots and inspired green creations. Perfect for gift-giving or green-thumb inspiration.

Nice smelling candles,… but reeked of unfriendliness… maybe I just came in at a bad time. I was browsing for a nice gift and after several minutes not a single soul said hello or can I help you(and looked directly at me). If your a small business trying to make it around here I would work on your customer service skills

Wow! This is the greatest little shop(actually there are two). One shop houses gifts, décor, shell mirrors and books. The other shop is a delight with many succulent pots, plants, the best and most beautiful orchids, and many gifts with a floral theme. I can always find a gift when I need it in Botanik. Best of all, it’s across the street from Summerland Beach Café. Both are musts if you are stopping in Summerland(just south of Montecito and Santa Barbara)…however, we come north… up the coast from Ventura.
