This place makes my heart break. Human beings are the cruelest species on this planet. What ever made anyone think that it was OK to put a beautiful creature in captivity. What you see when you go through this place are many birds you have plucked out their feathers because they are in captivity. Of course they pluck their feathers for other reasons primarily because they are in captivity and can no longer fly. I give a huge kudos to the owners of this place for trying to save the birds.

While staying at the nearby inn we heard a «Hello» and it was one of the birds in the porch cages calling us and of course we had to get closer and that is how we discover this amazing place; your can just tell that the animals are loved and taken care with a great diet and the place is so clean. We toured the back yard and stayed for over an hour enjoying these beautiful birds. Please visit them next time in the area your are in for a treat!

Very knowledgeable folks here, friendly and kind. Learned a great deal. Love my new conure, as does Cioppino. Ideas for name for this cute green-cheeked bird?

I really like this place. It is clean and the birds have a great outside aviary with lots of tropical landscaping. The birds are also fed a good diet of fresh foods. The only thing I would suggest is that the birds that are up for adoption have a card posted on their cage with information about them.
