Budget Blinds

Update: well the owner called and took full blame for the mistakes that were made. The guys showed up and were wonderful. They patched and painted the walls that were damaged; however, they didn’t have all the blinds! So here it is June and we are still not done having our blinds installed… its the never ending story of honeycomb blinds! Hoping this will all be over soon cause we are sooooo over this whole process

I have 15 sets of shutters put in for about 7 grand, and 15 weeks (and 8 appointments later) my shutters were finally installed. Travis claims to be the owner started billing me before shutters were installed, I have made two monthly payments to finance company before completely installed. Could not get order right, brought the wrong rush order from Reno. Customer service does not exist here.
On the upside the blinds are great.

Approx 2 years ago the owner came to measure for some accordion style blinds. To make a long story short after they were installed and I lived with them for a while I was extremely unhappy because 2 of the blinds are too short on ea side barely covering the window. Thus people can still see inside even with the blinds drawn. I did not complain at the time because stupidly I assumed that the clip that hold the blinds would have to be removed to fit a larger correctly fitted blind which would require my walls to to fixed because I thought the clips would have to be moved this leaving holes in my wall which would require repair So I lived with the improper measurements Travis the owner took.
Now one of those blinds broke. So I called. Travis verbally told me I had a life time guarantee, but when I called the receptionist put me on hold for 8. ½ minutes because she needed to verify that. But they kept their word on that.
So 2 installers come and they totally agreed with me that the 2 blinds in question were not measured properly and I had my video camera going so the whole conversation was recorded for my own private use. But I have proof they agreed with me that Travis the owner improperly measured. They have not agreed to remake the 2 blinds properly and they won’t even add the ½ inch on either side to the one they have to remake. I guess that’s why they are called budget blinds. You get what you pay for. An owner who can’t measure properly and a fight to get your life time guarantee. $ 2000+ and wont make it right.

Excellent customer service, and great quality for the price! Searching for service companies when out of state can be somewhat of a challenge, and it can be daunting to conduct business solely over the telephone. Ryan of Budget Blinds of Las Vegas made the process quick and easy.
I made contact with Ryan who made arrangements for an estimate. Ryan arrived on time and had many options available. Although I went back and forth with the options, I ultimately selected a combination of 2 inch real and faux wood blinds for the ten windows and an attractive vertical for a sliding glass door. Ryan was very patient with my back and forth decisions, which I appreciated. After making a nominal deposit, Ryan processed my order and indicated it would take about two weeks for delivery and installation.
About two weeks later, the blinds were delivered and installed. I was told the installation was timely and professional. The blinds look great and each one came with a decorative valance. Equally important was the price. The price was very reasonable for comparable products from local competitors. If you need blinds, give Budget Blinds of Las Vegas a call!

Budget Blinds is a great company! I ordered 38 shutters in total for my home and a 16′ panel slider. They were delivered and installed as promised. Ryan was a pleasure to work with and was very knowledgable about products and really wanted us to get what we wanted. Overall a great value and pleasure to work with. Highly recommended!

Had a great experience with Budget Blinds. From ordering to keeping me informed about measuring/​delivery/​installation of wood shutters for my new home, Ryan was completely accessible and delivered on all that was promised. The installation crew was neat, friendly and got everything installed without issue. Would definitely recommend this shop.

Heard a promotion for Budget Blinds over XM Radio and decided to try them out. Told the salesman that we were planning to redo the blinds for the entire house starting with the downstairs then moving upstairs. The salesman promised everything under the sun to ensure that the entire process would be seamless and we found almost exactly what we had in mind.
Day of install, we get a call from the installer saying 90% of our order was not ready and if we still wanted him to install the 1 window (out of 10 windows)? We said yes and when he got here he was full of excuses as to why it wasnt ready, blaming vendors and office people for not following up properly. I explained to him as a customer I am not interested in excuses! I did my part by placing the order and paying for my product, in return I expect what was promised, not excuses. He assured me that he would personally look into it and call me (even put my cell # into his contacts) and low and behold 4 days later… nothing!!!
I called the office, cell # and corporate leaving voicemails and no one will call me back. The check has been cashed and I still have 9 bare windows!
Calling corporate was completely useless as they do not see or process or have access to any orders. The only thing they do is sell franchises… um no thank you!
This company isnt worth the headache!
