So we dined here last night, not very impressed with the menu items. Very abstract and confusing selections. The service was fine I will give them that. The food however not so much.

Overpriced beer and the food is just okay. Not very impressed with this place. We went back a few times due to it being close to our house but it still disappoints.

Went here five times to get a consistent impression before writing a review. I love outside breezy casual eateries and they have a nice setup to allow a breeze to flow and U shaped bar or close the place up a bit for bad weather. Beer selection and pricing is normal. Food menu and quality is small and underwhelming.

Great service and food! Drinks were filled constantly so I never had to feel bad to ask for another one or wonder where my server was. The $ 3 tacos are great I usually go to places with taco night by far my favorite one so far, and the Mac and cheese is the best you have to try it!

A group of friends and I work out then go out for dinner/drinks after once a week, and we’ve been to Triangle several times. Each time we go, something goes wrong. On one visit, I ordered a cup of butternut squash/pumpkin soup because it was a chilly night. Instead, the server brought me a different cup of soup(something with chicken), which I had to send back. Fortunately, the replacement came quickly. On my last visit, I ordered the Samurai Superfood Quinoa salad, and after placing my order, the server told me they were out of the quinoa mix and asked what else I’d like. I’d already ordered and didn’t know right off, but looked at the menu and got another salad. My salad was tasty, but they didn’t bring it until most everyone else was finished eating. I ended up boxing most of it up to take home because I didn’t want to keep my friend(who was my ride for the night) waiting. I really like the Triangle location in West Ashley and have always had good experiences there. This one’s newer, but hopefully they will get the kinks worked out.

The WA Triangle used to be a go-to for me. Then they kind of switched gears and got a bit sloppy in all parts and I stopped going. The Summerville location gets a mediocre vote from me. I thought of Triangle in Summerville when I was in charge of finding a venue for our holiday work party. It was in a solid location, had the space we needed and offered food for our budget. A colleague and I met with their party coordinator and set up a plan for our event. The evening of our event was odd. We showed up and nothing was set up as we had discussed. Instead of making them rearrange everything, we worked with what they had done. The appetizers were coming out as people arrived for the cocktail hour. Then, they immediately brought out dinner for the buffet and set it up with the appetizers. It was very confusing and made our night go a bit quicker than expected because it was not timed out the way we had hoped. We had events set up to coordinate with times during the meal, but it didn’t really work out. The food was okay, nothing spectacular– which was disappointing considering our bill at the end. I probably wouldn’t go back here unless someone else truly wanted to(and was going to grab the bill).

Brunch is usually my go-to because life is no better than when it includes a carafe of mimosa and fresh cinnamon roll

Unfortunately, it’s really gone downhill within the last several months. Sucks because it could be, and was, great! Management really needs to reconsider having the NFL Sunday ticket — they have all that great outdoor space, utilize it during football season! Food fluctuates between good and decent. Sad because it’s so convenient to Wescott and I remember what they were when they first opened.

Came as a guest for a holiday party here. Really loved the atmosphere. Laid back but upscale. Loved the décor– doors on the wall, graffiti, bathroom fixtures, lighting and BIG garage doors opening up to their firepit patios. They’ve got a decent craft beer selection and some creative cocktails. Their brisket and yellow rice were great. And their hummus, spinach dip and chips were the BEST. Craving some right now! I can’t wait to visit again.

Visiting family from out of town and I have been hankering for a good brunch — craving fulfilled. Delicious food, great service, great atmosphere and cheap mimosas! Couldn’t have asked for more. I got the Crab Cake Benny — so many great flavors! We also all shared the biscuits and gravy — great flavor and not too globbby looking. Mimosas were reasonably priced, strong but not too strong and delicious! Definitely a great place for anyone looking for a good brunch!!!

Great place for some really good food and beer! The atmosphere of the restaurant was also really cool and refreshing. We sat indoors but it had that outdoor feeling because there was a lot of open windows and doorways. As for the food, we had the Avondale nachos which were really awesome. They were fresh cut potato chips, sprinkled with cheese, tomatoes, green onions, jalapeños and house made ranch as the sauce… what can I say, really great! I had the southern pouting as a dinner and that was really great! It was steak cut potato fries stacked with pulled pork, green onions, BBQ sauce and queso cheese… man was this just delicious!!! Highly recommend and we would definitely be visiting again!

Great place! I love that they add new items to the menu regularly. I often bring out of town guests. The atmosphere is nice, family friendly and open, prefect for bringing kids too! The Sunday brunch is amazing and busy. I would recommend Triangle, I haven’t been to the other locations.

Went here during brunch accidentally, I did not know they served brunch until 4pm on Sundays. It is really hard for me to judge this place based on the brunch because that’s not what they are known for. I thought my food was okay, I had a fried green tomato BLT which was pretty decent. I look forward to going for a beer and having either lunch or dinner here and I will update my review.

Great for brunch on Sunday, or if you’re just looking to get some food during the week. The staff is outstanding and the open-air dining area is awesome. The tacos are awesome(all of them) and they always have a great selection of beers on tap. Hands down the best restaurant in the area!

We had so much fun at this joint! As we drove to it from a long day of cruising around town exploring, I expected something much smaller. When we pulled into the parking lot, I was overwhelmed because it was much larger than I thought. We entered and were greeted right away. We asked to sit at the bar and they showed us the way. Our bartender was funny and served great drinks for us. The ambiance was nice. They have a window on the opposite side of the bar that opens to have a bar on the outside as well. There are tables on that same patio, too. This gives a nice, refreshing, earthy feel that is Triangle Bar. Will be back when we come back to town!

I still enjoy coming here, occasionally. The Sunday brunch is very good, lots of different things to choose from — breakfast, app or small lunch menu. Good thing to know is that brunch is over at 3pm and the kitchen closes until 4pm. We had the mimosa carafe and smoked salmon plate. Was wonderfully light and delicious — perfect for mid afternoon munchie. BFs daughter had the Cuban(she is a cuban sandwich conessueir) and she rates this as one of the best around. Also love to stop here and get a texas margarita — those things are better than any mexi place around here!!! Had to take away a star, because the food is really hit — or — miss, depending on the day. We have learned to not go there when we are completely starved, only for a light app or drinks. Thats why I had to take a star off the last rating I gave it.

I have been a long time lover of the Avondale Triangle Char and Bar. Lunch, dinner, and brunch with mimosas. It’s all great all the time. I was more than happy when plans were revealed to branch this awesome local spot to North Charleston. I’ve been several times since the grand opening. I’ve hit up all of the aforementioned meal times to really put this location to the test. Honestly, there are a few things that don’t quite measure up to the Triangle legacy. To be fair, it’s still new, and they’re working out the kinks. My food has always been solid. I’m a fan of the Mahi Mahi Tacos, and they’ve been good every time. My wife loves the black bean rolls and got shorted big time on the filling on our first visit. The manager did make up for it with a chip redeemable for free tacos on the next visit though. On a brunch visit we ordered the salmon omelette. The eggs were way overcooked which ruined the omelette a bit. Service has been a little slow most times I’ve gone which is understandable due the cooks and waitresses learning the menu items and drink lists. Despite the brief list of shortcomings I have enjoyed every visit the North Charleston Triangle thus far. It’s so close to home for me that I’ll be there faithfully as it improves with time. I’m super glad they brought this to the area.

Service as slow as savannah hwy loc. food selections are creative but i am more plain and traditional in my choices. the entrees probably r more appealing to a younger or contemporary crowd Frogmore stew on soft tacos seemed good at first. but the more i ate it i was wishing it was the real stew and not on tacos Sweet potato fries mushy Service just adequate. maybe there was something more enticing in the back than up front cos another waiter had to collect payment cos the original person didn’t return. The zeus turkey burger was good before at savannah hwy location. maybe should have stuck to that. The manager came by to ask how everything was, i didn’t want to complain cos it wasn’t terrible. just not a wow meal for me. Few hours later im headed to checkers off yeamans hall rd… yeah. good ‘ol burger and real fries. yeah!

Triangle has a fantastic look and atmosphere. I’ll start with that. However… The server we had wasn’t bad, just not very attentive. I’m not counting that against them, since it was a weekend afternoon, and they had a full house. It was very busy. My gripe with them though, is that you can’t pick out your server from anyone else in the place. The only person I could see that had a dedicated work shirt was a gentleman with the hostess when we were exiting. Maybe this is a new quirk they are working out. Ok. Not a huge deal. The food was really good. The bison burger, and one of the build-your-own burgers were top notch burgers. Really really good flavor in the meat. Sloppy, but good. Solid beer selection, and good fries make this a well-rounded pub-style meal. Let me go back to the fries a second though… the fries… Triangle. You can’t be giving out piles of nubbins like we got. My hand-cut fries had probably 50⁄50 decent fry to stubby ratio. Jess L. however, got the sweet potato fries, and I bet there were not more than a handful of actual fries of length. The rest were about an inch long. We weren’t in a complaining mood that day, and chalked some of these things up to new kinks they could be working out. All in all I really like this place. Good food & great atmosphere. I think it’s the style of restaurant that Sville needs and is actually moving towards. The server did say that they *should* be showing UFC fights, which included pay-per-view events as long as they«were sports related.» Awesome! (One note: I had a minor stomach ache the entire night after eating here, and Jess L. did as well. She actually got sick later. The only«real» meal we had eaten that day was from Triangle. I am NOT saying/accusing Triangle of anything, but just as a statement of warning(as goes with any place), we logically think that it was likely something we got from here.) Given all of that, I would like to try this again… fingers crossed to getting the ‘bugs’ worked out.

After a very stressful weekend, I was excited when my friends said we we’re all doing brunch at the new Triangle that opened up D road. We pulled in a few minutes before 11, and there was already a line waiting for the door to open. We sat outside b/c, Hello, it’s Oct in Charleston. Perfect, perfect, morning for day drinking! Oh I mean for sitting outside. ;) Six of us, so the staff got two tables together quickly, took our drink order, and made us feel comfortable from the start. We drink, so when we read, $ 1 mimosas, we thought it was a typo. A carafe was $ 7, so the girls ordered that. After a few sips, we questioned the ratio, and asked the server. Lauren said, «it’s a whole bottle of champagne, and then the OJ». We told her we’d like more MI to our MOSA, so she brought only champagne in our next carafe to balance it out. If U read my other reviews, I always try to order food I’d never make at the house. So a chipotle pulled pork benedict, fell under that category. I wasn’t with my normal group of friends that share and share alike, so I only tried my food. But according to everyone else, their food was great too! We will be back for sure, and hopefully if the service and food quality continues past these first couple months, the new Triangle off D road will do great and be there for a long time.
