If you took cold Jack’s pizza, rubbed it on the floor of a CTA station, and threw it in a seedy microwave for 30 seconds you’d sure get an «angry» slice. It is absolute dog food. I went in because I had ridden by so many times and was a sucker for marketing. I failed to read the reviews of my Unilocal brethren and I will forever regret that. Lesson learned. I walked in, the place was empty accept for the gamblers at the slots. Why? Well because they serve the worst pizza I have ever had. I tried to force my fat ass to eat more than two bites of eat slice but was so disgusted at the bland, flat flavor, the semi-cooked dough, the watery garbage called sauce that I just threw it away and walked out. Once in a while you find a place so crappy you will celebrate when it closes. This is one of those.

Table service on a slice is great. Slice of sausage was tasty, the self serve ice cream is a plus. Also the fail videos they play keeps you very entertained. Clean environment and tv’s playing sports.

It’s different. They basically have free ice cream if you get a drink and decide to fill it with ice cream instead. Pizza isn’t good enough to be part of their name but it’s not terrible. They have tvs playing fail videos which is pretty entertaining in my opinion. Prices are a little high for a cheap food place. Would recommend going though. Food is ready fast and you may like it. I tend to get a large drink cup, fill it with ice cream and then fill it with root beer, it’s sooooo good

The Parmesan smell of this pizza was too overpowering but the taste was good! Too bad it made 6 out of the 7 people who ate it have diarrhea and vomiting!!! I will NEVER order from here again! Onion rings were legit tho

Definitely a good not great place for pizza. I prefer the angry slice over the peporoni. Great chicken Parmesan wings… Must try. Very clean friendly service. Fries are good. If you like cheese fries skip the cheese here. Cookie is a must have and can’t beat the free soft serve ice cream. Giving this 5 stars to boost their rating because it’s better than the current 3 stars. Get the groupon to try it(after taxes best $ 12 I’ve spent).

Just came from Angry Slice-it was meh. It’s usually better, got a couple of slices, per usual. Crust was kind of rubbery, & tasted a little off. Could be the lack of pepperoni on it-ended up with 2 cheese, instead of 1 pepperoni &1 cheese. On the up side, it was very quick, & affordable.

Not bad for a fast bite. Beer price is actually a surprise, not over priced. They offer free ice cream, but watch out, kids took more then their share of cones. The girl at the counter didn’t replace when told of no cones left. The only problem is the location, difficult to enter and exit the parking lot. Too much traffic on Harlem. I’ll go again, but not to use gambling slots.

How can you go wrong with pizza?! Well this place did. The pizza was not good at all. Burnt, greasy(I normally don’t mind), and just tasted old. I will definitely not return to Angry Slice… Also what’s up with those videos being played there?! Do I really want to see people getting hurt as I’m eating? NOPE.

Overall, I liked this place. I had a coupon from one of those mailers, so thought I and the kids would put it to use. The place was clean and the help was friendly. I am trying to get my kids to expand their culinary tastes beyond the typical fast food and pizza is a good place to start. Of course they can’t venture too far from what they know. Kids can be so fickle. My son ordered a burger and fries. He said he liked it, but only ate about ½ of it. It was a sizable burger and looked good. My daughter had a slice of pepperoni pizza, I had a slice of «angry». Kids were surprised at the amount of sweat my forehead produced. It was quite good, though. My daughter and I also split an order of wings. A good sign for Angry Slice — my daughter said she«wouldn’t mind this being our go to place» instead of the Golden Arches up the street… even if they don’t have a play place. A limited selection, but what they did was done well. The soft-serve was an unexpected bonus. I am certain we will return.

We were headed to Portillos, but our children like the name, Angry Slice, plus we remembered we had a Groupon Coupon. As far as quick street food goes this place is alright by me. Regular appearances by pizza, fries, onion rings, cheezy stix, hotdogs, nich piece of breaded fish, etc. As far as customer service goes, the young miss taking our order(with groupon)-behind counter was very professional, friendly, curteous, helpful, informative and was even anticipating what other customers may need before they even asked. Now that to me is good customer service. One star for menu choices. One star for restaurant layout. One star for atmosphere. 2 stars for excellent customer service my own and based on what we witnessed. We’ll br back when we’re in area.

Please don’t come here with an air of foodie attitude; it’s a fast food joint with fast food items made in a fast food manner! You really do get a little more than what you pay for &YES; the kids love the free ice cream! I’m so glad my friend took me~I plan on enjoying it more often. I love old school fast food joints & this one is reminiscent of such.

Angry Slice & Sub Shop is a small eatery located on Harlem avenue in Summit. And the name is fitting because there’s a lot to be angry about here. When I came in I placed an order for a Hot Dog and fries. My friend with me picked a slice of pizza and then the waiting game began. The wait for both the Pizza and the hot dog was substantial. I’d say at least 10 minutes, if they were busy this would have been acceptable but we were the only two people there. One thing we discovered while waiting is that they have a free to use soft serve machine. After having a vanilla cone and waiting some more the food was eventually ready. The hot dog came on a hard dry bun. There was a pickle nearly as thick as the hot dog itself and a huge slice of tomato on it. The sausage used here was skinless, there were a pair of sport peppers on it. Light mustard and relish and a decent amount of slight onion. Right away the hard bun combined with the very thick pickle resulted in a bad tasting hot dog. The overall combination of ingredients was not a good mix. With the hot dog I also got some fries, the fries were bland, thick fries. Overall I was very disappointed with this hot dog, especially considering the wait. After a few bites my friend offered to cut me off a piece of his pizza slice to try, and I did. The slice was greasy, the cheese applied too thinly and the sauce was applied so sparingly it tasted like flavorless red grease. This was a pretty lousy piece of pizza and considering they have the name slice in their name and no sign of Slice the beverage I suspect this is supposed to be their flagship item. And this flag ship sunk while the pizza stunk. While I didn’t try a sub sandwich here, I can imagine the«Sub» in the name is due to the sub-par pizza. One star for Angry Slice, just keep on driving.

I saw a groupon for this place so I thought I would check it out. I got the cheese pizza it was okay nothing spectacular. It needed more sauce and less cheese. The crust was good. The Italian Beef was kinda dry my mom said even though she got it dipped. She asked for juice on the side as well. My dad got the cheese pizza it was okay. I liked the cool coca cola machine they have. I will try and go back and give this place another chance by trying something else.

When are these places gonna get it that gourmet prices DONTBELONG on FASTFOOD? Expensive pizza… I ordered a slice to give it a try. Though the slice was decent sized, it cost me $ 6 for a slice and a drink. If that accounts for free refills(which I dont know if thats what they offer)…then a to go order, which mine was should né a $ 1 cheaper. On top of that, the biggest sin committed was BLANDNESS. I really hope they read these reviews and A: Improve their flavor and B: LOWER the prices… otherwise, they are gonna go the way of the horrid Pollo Loco that was here and didnt last.

The pizza left much to be desired. When our plates came out, we thought that the slice size was good and it looked appetizing. We were so wrong. I got a plain cheese slice while the boyfriend got a pepperoni slice. We are pretty un-adventourous with our pizza. We both agreed that something tasted«off» and realized it was the cheese. The crust has a nice texture but I could not get past the odd cheese flavor. We did however like the free soft serve ice cream and the Stella beer on tap. We would not go back again which is a bummer as this place is close to home.

I thought the food was pretty good. We had the cheese pizza, the Angry Slice pizza(everything with jalapenos) and the Italian Sub. I think it’s a nice addition to the area and I look forward to going there again. Also, there prices are extremely reasonable especially for the portions they give.
