Carly is working with a family member and I am often present at sessions. Carly is straightforward, direct, logical and no-nonsense, while being benevolent, empathetic, fair, warm and open. As someone who has been through her share of therapists, medications, feelings of worthlessness, hopelessness, and self-harm, I can honestly say I wouldn’t be able to consider those days behind me without the help of Carly Decotiis & DBT. I use to internalize everything and was a pro at apparent competence. I came to Carly at my lowest and with each session left seeing my bits old happy self again. She helps you see different perceptions of situations and gives you the tools to tackle future hurdles and break those cognitive, emotional, and behavioral cycles. Carly is extremely professional, validating, and knowledgeable in her field. I have never met anyone who goes the extra step for her clients, like Carly does.
