So since my last review the staff has changed over and they are great, they do their best to move the line at busy times and they still get your drink right, can;t complain about that!

Above average Starbucks. Can get pretty crowded and loud with train and school crowd. Clean bathroom and some seating. Great location. Solid coffee spot anytime.

I have to agree with some of the other reviews that I have read for this location. How can the Summit Starbucks not be run more efficiently? Can’t some financier in town arrange a hostile takeover and have the management changed. The quality of the finished product is the same at any other Starbucks but the problem is getting the finished product. The line is long and unorganized, the staff has attitude and does not seem well trained. The place should also be twice the size to accommodate the clientele. Due to the fact that it is Starbucks and it is a great location this place will never fail I just wish for the sake of Summit that their Starbucks was better run.

I love this coffee shop. I wish it was a bit bigger so I could sit in it for morning reading. The staff is young and energetic and treat customers with respect.

Here nearly every Saturday morning picking up coffee and breakfast for my wife and her coworkers. The staff is courteous and keeps the line moving which can be long on Saturday mornings. They have outdoor seating when the weather allows it which is always a plus. And if you’re lucky, you might bump into a former Yankees/Mets player.

Turning into one of the worst Starbucks. Used to be a fast clean place now it’s slow and the people who work there care more about getting there clean up work done then getting your drinks. Took 20 minutes for an ice tea with only three people on front of me. They were trying to get all there closing work done at 6:30pm. I will not be back. Guess it’s back to dunkin donuts.

Good location by the train station, as the other reviewer stated below. Seating area is a bit tight and not big at all. If you plan to come here to get some work done or relax for a while, get here early. Baristas are always solid — I’ve never had a bad cup or messed up order. Vin is the man. Coffee is always also solid, but again, nothing that would warrant it 5⁄5 stars!

Good location by the train station. Your usual array of Starbucks treats. I find the layout kind of small and awkward. When the line gets long, there’s kind of nowhere for it to conveniently go. Staff maybe a little bit salty.

This location in Summit is the King of all Starbucks. Once you start going to this location the others will fare in comparison. The staff is super friendly, smart, and efficient. They work as a real team. The line in this place can be super long one minute and every out the door the second minute. When going to other Starbucks for example in Springfield our Millburn you experience 3 people doing the job of one. When you visit the Summit Starbucks you experience 1 person doing the job of 2. Starbucks corporate should use the Summit Starbucks as a flag ship location where they could train other employees. Starbucks of Summit, you are fabulous! Thank you and keep up the great work.

What is there really to be said about a Starbucks? You’ve all tasted the burnt coffee and sugary drinks over the years. You know what is. You know what you like. This is a pretty typical Starbucks(and I worked at this location back in the day). I will say that it’s unusually busy, probably because it sits across the street from a train station.

I had to go to this place again! I have never seen such a rude starbucks staff in my life. The Manager needs to go! She is terrible… For not being a busy place they sure are RUDE!

Just commented to my wife this morning after another attitude-filled exchange while ordering here, that this is probably my least favorite Sbux out of possibly a hundred that I’ve visited around the world. Shame my least favorite shop happens to be my closest.

Well… it’s a Starbucks, so what can I say? First I ordered a Café Misto which tasted like boiled hot water. I returned it, because it SUCKED. The woman at the counter had a slight attitude about it, which I didn’t APPRECIATE. I ordered my standard Caramel Macchiato, which was sub-par. Didn’t bother returning that, but definitely not like most Starbucks where I’ve had coffee.

Got to give this a 3-stars; all your Starbucks favorites, decent staff, but since they renovated a year or so ago there just isn’t enough room. Good to grab a coffee before jumping on the train.
