Baskin Robbins

I normally love Baskin Robbins but tonight I was so turned off before even going inside that I felt the need to right a review. After dinner, we drove up to this location for a scoop and right away noticed 4 teenaged girls inside standing around dancing and acting erratically. The only person working the counter was a teenaged boy. We didn’t feel like dealing with 4 loud girls so just decided to leave and come another time. It would have been fine if that had been the end of it but as we were pulling away we noticed the 4 girls gesturing rudely toward us and mouthing what looked to be rude comments. What is that?! I can assume they were there hanging out with the boy working there and by all means… There were no customers. But to stand in someone’s place of employment and gesture and act altogether rudely to people outside that could be customers? Extremely unprofessional and turned me off from ever going to this location. This happened around 740pm give or take a few minutes on veterans day 2015. Sad bc my boyfriend who was with me is a veteran and this is how our youth acts.

It’s National Ice Cream Day today! I’m giving 5 stars to the sweet & ONLY server as she is the ONLY person tonight on Nat’l Ice Cream Day… why is that? My family and I sat in our car in front of the shop for 45min as we waited for our son to finish up his dinner before he gets any ice cream. We sat there watching other families and groups going in and out for some ice cream and wondering why there is only one person behind the counter. When we finally went in and lined up for our share, we noticed the young lady was really by herself yet she stayed very calm throughout every encounter with customers. She was professional by acknowledging every customer that walked through the door as she was serving another, she always maintained eye contact with her customers and a pretty smile during every transaction.
We can see she is trained well in customer service or she is just a rare type of employee who KNOWS how to handle stress and be able to multi-​task without getting frazzled. We didn’t get her name because before we left she was still too busy that we didn’t want to interrupt her. :-) To this young lady, you are Awesome and good luck as you will be successful one day with your positive attitude and professionalism!

Lovely place to work and visit as a customer, I have done both and I have had a wonderful experience as an employee and customer. They are focused on values that put the customer first!
