absolute horrible. they only sent 2 movers instead of 3 on the day of the move. and they damaged my walls and door in my new house because they were exhausted. additionally they did a shitty job of packing our items which resulted in some items being broken. one of the guys gave me lip and almost walked out on the job before putting my desk and dresser back together. they are completely unprofessional it’s been almost a month and yet they have yet to reimburse my claim. do not use these guys. i figured a large moving company that specializes in corporate moves(e.g passport members) would do a sufficient job with a local move. but this company failed miserably

Absolutely horrible. My husband and I moved from Seattle to Austin. We’ve moved 10 times in 20 years and never had so much broken or damaged. The packers dropped our flat screen and, after assuring me it was well-packed and would be fine, we unpacked it to discover the whole screen was shattered. On top of that, the insurance they tell you will cover everything that is damaged or broken, actually doesn’t. Our other flat screen has a loud annoying buzz now, and they won’t fix it because, «things sometimes shake loose in moving electronics» so it’s not covered. I’ve never been more displeased with a moving service in my whole life. I’m contacting the AMSA and BBB regarding my issues in hopes of getting a solution. Will update when I do, but in the meantime, I certainly cannot recommend them at all.

DONOTUSETHISCOMPANYUNTILFURTHERNOTICE! I just moved from Seattle to Chicago and the packers did a HORRIBLE job and they said they did more than they actually packed! My husband did a majority of the packing of our house as we wanted to save money. We were told by Bill Petrie(the«Move Consultant» who never called me back after I said I was going with Allied) to pack what we could and leave the breakables to them. That way if something broke then they would be responsible. When the packers got there they got right to work. The one kid just started stuffing the boxes my husband packed into larger boxes. I didn’t question it. I thought he was the pro and there must be a good reason… no there wasn’t. I got charged for ten extra wardrobe boxes. My printer was wrapped in two pieces of paper! Plastic mixing bowls were wrapped better than my printer which copies, faxes and scans. It wasn’t some cheapo printer. This was a few hundred. BTW it was packed in the box with hangers, a bathroom scale, and books! I had a lamp which I absolutely loved! It was broken. It wasn’t a lamp that was reproduced 50,000 times. It is now discontinued and cannot be replaced. I wear business suits every day for work. They were packed with our camping stuff, dog toys, and dog food in one box. In another, there were my work clothes, a silver storage box, my roller work bag, and these rubbermaid drawers that had pens and various office supplies in them. When the guys packing were done with everything I gave them a VERY generous tip. I thought it was the holidays, times are tough. Now as I look back, they were probably laughing all the way back to South Seattle. When we got to Chicago our stuff was all over the place. There was books paked in with kitchen stuff. Bathroom stuff with living room stuff. As my husband said, opening every box is like Christmas morning… you don’t know what is inside. Everything was also mislabeled. I don’t know how many boxes said«dog care». We love our dogs, but seriously? I am writing this reveiw and telling you not to use Allied or its affiliates for now. I am trying to work out what they will reimburse me for. I will let you know how it all works out. Until then, my review stands.
