Where is the customer service? My husband & I walked out of here in disbelief. We recently moved to Bonney Lake. We have been searching for a good barber for my husband and have been waiting to try this place out. The shop is located in cute little downtown Sumner. It makes a perfect opportunity for me and my son to shop around while my husband gets his haircut. Boy, was I wrong! We walked in around 10:00 am. We were not greeted– actually the lady who was cutting somebody else’s hair didn’t even turn around to acknowledge that we were even in the building. I thought«well maybe she doesn’t want to be rude to her current customer». WRONG. When it was my husbands turn to go, she just looked at him with a cape in her hand. I heard my husband say«Hello» and Ill be damned if the lady didn’t even say«Hi» back! When I was finally able to see his face, he raised his eyebrows up at me and mouthed«wow». CLEARLY this women was either just having a bad day or she just doesn’t care. The only question she asked was«how do you want it». The rest of his haircut she didn’t speak a single word. I wondered how the money exchange was going to go at the end when she told him how much it was going to be. She didn’t skip a beat on her awful customer service. She took the cape off him and he handed her a $ 20.00 bill and she gave him the change and begin clearing off the chair for the next victim. Didn’t say thank you, didn’t say have a nice day. Thank you for your business. Please come back– nothing. We will not be returning. I will also not be referring. We will be trying the other barber shop in Sumner and will be avoiding Joanne’s Barber shop at all cost.
