Pizza is sub par and expensive. I have been here three times out of convenience and won’t be back. Too expensive for pizza that just isn’t that great. Like to run out of water and/or soda? This is a good place to go!

Outstanding taste! We usually go to the Trackside Pizza in Puyallup but decided to try the Sumner location last night. Still thinking about the great taste of the A train. Highly recommend.

This is an updated review! My first experiences with Trackside in my beloved hometown of Sumner were not the best. Too expensive, not-so-great service, and just an ok time. But tonight, my 4 year-old specifically requested we go to Trackside so he could make his own pizza. It has been about 3 months since our last visit. And I am glad I gave them another chance! Do I think $ 9.50 is a bit much for a kid’s meal? Well… Yes, considering tonight it cost more than my salad entrée. BUT… The pizza is a generous helping of cheese and 3 sides, and it is very delicious.(The pizza at Trackside is always very good.) I always finish his pizza and love it! And my son really loves the experience of making his pizza and eating the cold toppings as he creates. He requested Trackside after not having been there for the past three months, so he must love it. I know some parents on here were outraged that there was only ONE option for their precious child, but… Sorry. If your toddler is that picky, pick up some $ 3 nuggets on the way and enjoy your pizza at the restaurant. My salad tonight seemed bigger than the last few times– more chicken, more bacon, yum! I couldn’t even finish it. And the service! She was fast, smiling, attentive, and all-around great! Also… The prices, I realized, are quite comparable to Farrellis. And their pizza is every bit as good! Thanks for making a few adjustments, Trackside team! I will be back soon!

I just ate at Trackside tonight, and I had a really great time. The restaurant was hardly busy, so, my party got seated right away and our food was piping hot and very tasty. Our server was friendly, too! I will be coming back if I am in the mood for a good pizza and some chicken wings!

So damn salty when cold. Asked for extra toppings I didn’t receive. Sad first $ 35 experience. One more time for a review.

It was a busy place on Saturday night so the waitresses were overwhelmed but friendly and caring! The pizza was great and the price was fair for a business in downtown Sumner.

Pizza toppings tasted great and unique enough to distinguish it from other pizza places, the crust however(texture-wise) made every bite feel like a battle to chew a bite off… very tough. I liked it well enough to give it another shot though to see if this is the normal crust or perhaps just an over cooked one.

The salad and pizza were very good. While the kids pizza may have been 9.50 it was worth the little extra for my son to make it himself. He really enjoyed being able to bring up to the kitchen and have the staff interact with him.

So bummed to see all these negative reviews! Visited for the third time last night and have been nothing but happy with everything from the service to the food. In fact, each time I go, it gets better. For Sumner and Bonney Lake, this is the best pizza around, no question. The manager, Jesse, was our server last night and was great. This is a new location and they’re making a huge effort to get up to speed with everything, so there’s always room for improvement. I’ll definitely be back!

To offset the terrible reviews from crazy reviewing people, this place was great. We stopped in on a Monday evening and had a peaceful dinner with delicious pizza. Our son had a blast making his own pizza pie. The prices were not any higher than Farrelli’s or the Rock and the food was just as good. We ignored the negative reviews and tried this place out instead. I’m glad we did and we will be back!

Walked in Saturday night around 5:00PM. There was a few people in the place, we got seated right away. I expected a larger menu with more options. Was more interested in getting a calzone than a pizza. We ordered half salads and a large pizza. The pizza was $ 28. Don’t remember the name but it had bacon, sausage, ham, pepperoni, green pepper, tomato, olive, mushroom… The salad came and I ate half of it. The lettuce seemed a little weird in my mouth so I inspected a little closer. Some pieces of lettuce had gone bad and were black and slimy. I sent the salad back and wasn’t charged for it. My wife liked her salad. The pizza finally came, seemed a little long. We asked for ranch, the waitress said they are $ 0.60 each. Really? We pay $ 30 for a pizza and you charge $ 0.60 for ranch. Whatever, we wanted our ranch. Ended up coming in small cups and had a consistency of water. The pizza was OK. For some reason, there was an abundance of water under the pizza. It got soggy pretty quick. Maybe from the tomatoes? Not that great. The water tasted like chemicals, like the dishes weren’t rinsed? Won’t go back. Farelli’s down the street has this place beat, hands down! Soggy pizza, paid for ranch, spoiled lettuce, water tasted like bleach and was way over priced!

Very over priced!!! Its a Pizza fools not Steak & Lobster. Quoted one price on the phone only to arrive for pickup and carry out and the price was $ 4.00 more. $ 19.00 for a pepperoni pizza is over the top especially for a tiny blue collar town like Sumner.

First time here and I am not impressed. Only one choice for kids at 9.50. Not a lot of choices for adults. High prices. Farelli’s is better and right down the street! Got a milk for my dd in a cup that had crayon residue on the inside. No chocolate milk available! No refills offered on sodas. Hard seats. Tight 2 person seats. Interior is blah. Asked for a water and others in my group got their drinks and no water until the pizza came and I reminded her. The California Zephyr tasted great and that is the only positive thing I can say. And that their spatula game is on point! We came here to see what it was about and found out. Will not be returning.

Good for lunch on a strip dominated by simple American diners. Sandwiches are brought out on good bread, with tastey toppings. Nothing to complain about, beyond having to eat the sandwich with a fork and knife, which isn’t always a bad thing!

The first thing I want to say is the food is good. This however is not a review of the food. Last night my wife and I and our kid went down to have a pizza and some salad. We ended up ordering a large pizza, a small pizza, 3 salads, soda for the kid, beer for me and wine for my wife. We expected a total bill of around $ 70. Total bill was actually $ 91 before the tip. After discussing it with my wife we felt we could have got a better deal at the Rock pizza up in Lakeland or down at Mama Stortini’s around the corner for the same price. The other thing I wanted to comment on what we know this is a new restaurant but the business was only about 50% full but yet it took almost 20 minutes for them to take our order. It’s going to be awhile before we go back.

I just visited the trackside in sumner for lunch with my 4 year old daughter. Let me start off by saying THEONLYOPTIONFORKIDSATTHISPLACEIS $ 10. For 10 bucks they bring your kid a little crust with a bowl of sauce, some cheese and pepperoni. Your kid gets to make a mess, then they cook it for you. She thought this was fun but it cost more than my lunch and I was disappointed that this was your only option for kids. I had the all you can eat lunch. I like to try all you can eat pizza lunches for some variety. This lunch has no variety. They only serve 1. pepperoni, 2. Three meat(pepperoni and ham, not sure what the third was. Might have been bacon crumbs.) 3. Ham and pineapple with ranch instead of tomato sauce(weird) and 4. Vegetarian. When I asked the waitress if this ever changes, she said no. It’s always the same 4 pies. This pizza is very boring and most of the menu looks really over priced. The service was pretty slow and half way through the meal I had to ask for napkins and silverware. The entire staff looked really young and under trained. Probably poor management. I’ve never been to the one in Puyallup, but I’m not sure why there would be 2 of these over priced restaurants. If you have money to waste this might be okay pizza for take out. Definitely not a place you wanna bring the family for lunch.

So we get here around 530 and they are quick to seat us. We get to our table and it has ants all over it to where I have to be asked to be seated some where else. Not 10 mins later they try and seat another couple there and they asked to move. Like really? Our waitress was just okay. She was quick but gave no real customer service to our table. The best part was my kids were able to make their own pizza but it was still 10 dollars even though they made it themselves. Overall it was a very uneventful experience. Over expensive and not clean at all. Will not be back.

The food tastes good, service is less than stellar, BUTITISSOFREAKINGLOUD, you can not enjoy any form of conversation. You have to yell to order your food.. Suggestion: bring a megaphone, or noise cancelling headphones. Try texting if you want to have a conversation. We feel extremely privileged, our wait person agreed to remove the items from our bill that she neglected to bring to our table. We won’t be going back.
