I stopped by to pick up a few items this past weekend. While there is a humidifier in the cigar room, I found the atmosphere to be pretty dry. I don’t think anyone was keeping an eye on the humidity levels. There are also pretty significant gaps around the door to the room. I forwent the cigar and decided to pick up a corncob pipe and some Captain Black. Despite being in a pouch and sealed, the Captain Black also ended up being all dried out.

I’m not a smoker, but this is a pretty cool shop. This store was built in the Spring of 06′ and was designed to look like an old general store. The inside is decorated with unique old items like 1940’s style freezers, gas pumps, and soda machines. The creaky wooden floors give it a real old time feel. Mainly, it is a specialty tobacco shop, but they also sell unique candy, drinks, and all sorts of gift items like USC& Clemson memorabilia. This is a dumb complaint, but they really need to trim their landscaping at the entrance. When exiting along Broad Street, you can only see about 75 feet to your left due to large bushes at the Sir Williams entrance. So, you just floor it and cross your fingers.
